I had a very disappointing experience at this store. I took my Kenneth Cole mechanical watch in for a minor repair because the seconds hand had come loose. The watch was still under international warranty, and I made that clear when I handed it in.
The store representative, Mr. Yusuf, looked confident and took the watch straight to the back where repairs were being done. When I returned after some time, he handed the watch back saying it was fixed. The seconds hand was indeed attached, but when I tried winding the watch, the crown turned freely without resistance, something that was perfectly fine before I gave it in.
Only then did they say they do not actually handle the internal mechanics of mechanical watches and would need to raise a service request. After checking further, they realised the watch was bought outside India and told me they could not repair it under warranty here.
So basically, my watch was opened by someone not authorised to work on it, potentially voiding my international warranty, all because the staff did not check properly before touching the watch. I am now stuck with a watch that may no longer be covered under warranty and has an additional issue that was not there before.
Extremely careless and disappointing experience. I expected a professional approach, not trial and error handling of an international brand watch.
