State of the art building. Friendly staff and faculty. As a postgraduate student I would like to highlight that the faculty have extensive experience in the industry along with academia. This always helps elevate the learning experience

Heriot Watt University is one of the best universities in the UAE and probably across the world. It has a very clean, calm, welcoming environment. It has students from a lot of countries. The teaching staff is also highly qualified. Overall i an extremely satisfied with the university.

Disrespectful towards guest! I was a visitor and the receptionist was inconsiderate and ill-mannered. I am not visiting it again and won’t pursue my PhD here. The University of Wollongong beside this university were more welcoming and considerate towards a guest.

The student support team is an absolute nightmare. Getting a response or the right solution would feel like a once in a blue moon like situation. For the amount of fees charged and the advertisement given, really would expect a better outcome.

It’s a mixed to bad experience. The marketing part is mostly kind of a scam. The buildings and facilities are really good. Some faculty members do reflect international standards, but others are very subpar and make you feel like you were tricked by the marketing team. Many committees, like the well-being one, exist on campus just for the sake of it and don’t function effectively at all. There are so-called robust measures in place for ethics and compliance, but they are quite flawed and can be easily manipulated to protect influential faculty members. Racism and favoritism are real things. Some staff in Student Services give off the impression that they own the university. In general, once you peel off the first layer of any function, team, or faculty, you start to feel the hollowness underneath. Graduation venues have been moved to Dubai Opera, and anyone who has attended can tell it’s more of a marketing gimmick to promote high-priced courses than an effort to offer a great experience for students and families. The courses themselves are quite good and relevant to the current market, but again, don’t get fooled by the marketing team when it comes to career support—they tend to overpromise and underdeliver. They have recently been recognized by the Ministry of Education, but it’s still not an A-listed university. So, for students who are considering pursuing Golden Visa, make your choice carefully.

Best place for IELTS exam, staff were friendl & clean place But if wifi access provides will be excellent.. Anyone wants to visit here please come from Dubai marina using tram and get down on knowledge village it's only two munites walking distance.. Good luck everyone 👌

The only time this university will respond to your email if you owe them money, even though it’s the university’s mistake with the payment plan if you want to truly educate yourself and learn, there are better options. The Google reviews about this university are not biased. There are true indeed ask students before applying.

This university is a money hungry institution built on being a business model rather than educational. Like the other reviews, the payment part is absolutely unfair and deceitful. They hide behind “policy” when it’s really just scamming. If you are someone with tight financial situation like myself, I do not recommend this university.

We visited the University to attend a student competition and to see the prospects for children's admission. However, it was disheartening to see that there was no drinking water. The event management showed an emphasis on commercial promotion of the university and its affiliates rather than inspiring student with knowledge. We have decided not to consider this University for future admission.

Some professors are very unprofessional, admin is very unhelpful towards students who have doubts in certain administrative areas. Please start taking action into the hospitality of your university if you truly care about the students studying in your university. It is so pitiful.

Student service is absolutely horrible. Emails go unanswered and the only time they are helpful is during the fees and payment process. Because all they want is money. Their class schedules online are wrong and then you go to the student service and they say “we have the correct schedule” what is this? Absolutely no help whenever you want them to compensate the student for something. Definitely do not recommend going here. There’s plenty other universities around, look into those.

The building itself is a piece of art! I’ve registered for a master's, and I’m so excited!

I just went to the students services and the person there almost made me cry for asking something general or guiding me. This is not just my experience it is high time the staff is changed

I'm a postgraduate student at Heriot-Watt and have so far had an amazing experience. The faculty members are knowledgeable and passionate about the courses, and the resources available on campus are of high quality. The campus environment is great with plenty of clubs and organisations to get involved in. I've felt supported throughout my academic journey, and the career services team provide valuable guidance on internship and job opportunities. I highly recommend Heriot-Watt University to anyone seeking a well-rounded education and a memorable university experience.
