Best state bus service. Comfortable seats with enough leg space. The best part of HRTC is they are operated buses to approx 80-90 % villages. But one single cons is lac of buses. Here was single bus for kaza-manali or kaza-peo route each. I was there in june, 2018. I stayed 3 days only for kaza- rohtang- Manali route bus ticket. But conducter said that all tickets are booked after booking 7-8 tickets. I just want from HRTC that they operate at least 2 buses for kaza-manali and kaza- peo each aur some transparency in ticket booking at kaza. I repeat HRTC is best and as you know HP's beauty, the slogan of HRTC is "Dev Bhoomi Himachal" (God's land Himachal)

HRTC Volvo bus has become beyond pathetic. Had done advance booking for Delhi to Bir . My seat was changed, Volvo bus was so ill maintained, staff rude, driver rode like he was driving a rash truck, no leg room, got DROPPED MIDWAY at Kangra and was told a hrtc deluxe bus will drop us to the Bir. The hrtc non volvo bus in fact was more well kept than the volvo. As a solo woman traveler, used to rely on HRTC, but this is beyond pathetic. Plz book the private bus folks, they charge just the same and offer better service in every way.

This is the best service price wise and quality wise don’t opt for the private service to reach Shimla, Rampur, Rohru, Manali, Joginder nagar, Dharmashala, Hamirpur Do follow me if the information is help-full to you, it will be a motivation to share more

let me write very honest review . we went from delhi to manali by volvo . and really it was very bad to see that :--- 1> almost all curtains were torn or broken. and whole night outside light was getting in and very difficult to sleep. 2> none of the charger were working we tried in almost 20 seats. 3> almost all seats were broken , bad smell. 4> conductor forced us badly to keep all luggage by myself inside the bus. we complaint about the same. very very poor. conclusion is there is no difference between hrtc and any other bus . But i will never go in HRTC again ....

HRTC operates very efficient Volvo bus service between Delhi and Shimla. Of late their Volvo bus fleet is getting old.

HRTC is the best operator for Chandigarh route. Well maintained Volvo and AC buses. Must book tickets online in advance to avoid last minute hassle. You may not get seats specially on the weekends, booking counter at ISBT is too crowded and you would have to compromise over the seat position or bus timing.

Being an active user of HP Roadways Volov service since past 3 years, with fortnightly ride, I swear buy its punctuality. It is on time. YOu are safe as speed limit is fixed. Time table is fixed. Hence driver is in no hurry and drive safely. By using smart card, dicount is availble from october to march. And most important thing, if going alongwith family and bus is breakdown in mid way, they have enough fleet to pick up up the passenger in mid of journey. Hence best Volvo service in India.

Improved infrastructure yet still need to improve in ticket management system

Zero leg room, broken seats with no handles, no arm rest. Worst kind of service with neck pain due to uncomfortable seats. As always govt buses charge full amount but services lack and there is no scope for feedback.

Try not to opt for this. I prioritised government transport over private Volvo for the sake of on time service. And the only good thing i found here was to be on time. Rest of things were really messed up, no cleaning, bad odour, broken seats, glasses. No volvo like experience. Wont go for it next time.

The bus services are good and well managed

Bus connectivity to different parts of North India. Well planned bus stop with all basic facilities.

Book online.. Seats filled fast before u go for offline booking Ordinary buses better.. fresh air than closed volvo buses

Pathetic customer support system , no one pick this number. Ph. Keep ringing. HRTC team pl.leave this , granted attitude. If your team can't manage , plz outsource this.

Very Punctual, Sincere, Comparing to Haryana Roadways, CTU, PUN BUS, PUNJAB ROADWAYS. EXCELLENT SERVICE GOOD LEG SPACE KIND HEARTED STAFF, VERY GOOD HOSPITALISATION.

Please move into 21st century and have a better customer relations management. No one picks up the age old number provided here. Please improve this service.
