Hōchō Restaurant

The interior was good but I feel the Saudi Japanese design wasn’t well blended. The cleanliness of the table needs more attention as there were a bit of streaks on the mats. The service was ok. Some dishes and drinks weren’t available. We came for the omakasi and contacted them via whats app on the same day. We arrived they told us the omakasi wasn’t available as it needs to be booked a day in advanced.. The food: The salad was fresh and good 10/10 The Kobe taco was heavy and needs acquired taste. The crispy salmon rice was great 10/10 The salmon maki was 4/10 I wish the salmon was raw would’ve made it way better. The chocolate fondant was 10/10 was so amazing The basil drink was 10/10 I would come back for the salad and chocolate fondant.

I had an exceptional dining experience at Hocho in Via Riyadh. From the moment we arrived, everything felt perfectly curated. The ambiance is elegant, calm, and not noisy at all, making it ideal for a relaxed and enjoyable evening. Even the outdoor area is very clean and well-maintained. The service was truly amazing. The lady who served us was extremely polite, friendly, and attentive. Her attitude and professionalism added a very special touch to the overall experience. As for the food, it is honestly one of the best Japanese food experiences I’ve ever had. Every dish we ordered was excellent, and you can clearly see the quality and attention to detail. The highlight was definitely the Kobe Wagyu A5 — the quality was superb, and surprisingly, it was even better than what I’ve tried in Kobe and Tokyo. I’ve attached a photo of the bill with the dishes ordered and my personal ratings out of 5. Overall, Hocho delivers a complete fine dining experience with outstanding service, beautiful atmosphere, and top-tier food. Highly recommended, and I will definitely be coming back.

Exceptional ! Omakase in the Ruby Room was absolutely amazing! Chef Hassan and the crew nailed it. The Saudi–Japanese fusion is wild—in the best way. Iqekt اقط (yogurt air meringue), AlUla honey, camel milk, cardamom, black sesame, dates purée! didn’t expect that level of creativity or flavor. Every dish told a story. Didn’t just eat—we experienced it. Highly recommend!

10/10 place. Service by Gen was great, food is delicious, drinks are refreshing. i like the concept of japanese X saudi mix.. i recommend ordering kobe beef tacos it was my favorite. will comeback 100%

I booked the Rubi Room and it was an amazing experience. The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful, from adjusting to my booking requests to working around accidental time delays I had. I went in with some expectation and was blown away. The food was unique and extremely creative. For the Rubi room, you get a set menu of 16-18 dishes to be served within 2 hours, and the range of food and flavors was impressive. I loved how they incorporated local Saudi fruits and herbs into almost every dish. It was a top notch experience to try unique flavors and dishes as never seen before, highly recommend it!

The portions were incredibly small. The ambience was lacking with oversimplified lighting music and a poor smell. There was also only a single small bathroom. However the drinks were tasty and well presented.

A good Japanese restaurant offering both indoor and outdoor seating. The service is very good, and while the food is good, there’s still room for it to be even better.

المطعم فاخر جدا، والخدمة فيه ممتازة. كنا شخصين وجلسنا في الخارج الجو كان جميل والأكل لذيذ طلبت اديمامي سبايسي، سمبوسة، سوشي تمبورا، نودلز باللحم الكوبي، موهيتو ( بطيخ) متميز جدا وموهيتو باشن فروت. التكلفة ٦٥٠ ريال النودلز لذيذة و متميزة جدا السوشي والاديمامي لذيذ أشكر مايكل و توفيق وآفيا على خدمتهم الممتازة التي جعلت التجربة رائعة. قدموا لنا حلا لذيذ جدا ( شوروز) كضيافة أعجبنا كثيرا. أنصح أولا بالنودلز لأني أعتقد أنها الطبق السيجنتشر في المطعم ثم السوشي والاديمامي ثم أخيرا السمبوسة السمبوسة لذيذة لكن تشبه بقية المطاعم الحلا لذيذ وخفيف والقهوة مضبوووطة جدا 👍🏻 ختمت فاتورة موقف السيارة قبل مغادرتي وأصبح موقف سيارتي مجاني أثناء وجودنا في المطعم

I go to Hocho every time I go to Riyadh and honestly it has become one of my favorite spots. I usually bring business guests here because I know we’ll have a great time every single visit. The vibe in the evening is really nice — relaxed, stylish, but never too formal. The food is consistently very good, always fresh, well presented, and full of flavor. Also big plus for the team: service is friendly, welcoming, and professional without being stiff. You just feel comfortable. Definitely a place I’m always happy to come back to and recommend. Highly recommended!

الاكل لذيذ خصوصا السلطة الخدمه ممتاز

لباقة الموظفة والمهنية التكلفة قرابة 600 شخصين 1سوشي 1 بطاطس مقلي 1ريش 1سمبوسه نجي للخدمة والضيافة ممتازه وقدموا لنا كيك جابانيز ضيافه كان روعه نجي لسمبوسة بلحم الكوبي ( الطعم صفر من 5 ) اللحمة فيها طعم حالي مكثرين صوص حالي والحجم صغير جداً وعليها رشة بابريكا. الطعم كله غير لزيز الريش لحم كوبي كبيرة ماشاء الله لكن نفس السمبوسك الطعم حالي وتغث نجي للسوشي روعه روعه روعه للي يحب السوشي بطاطس مقليه كلاسيك لزيزه مافيها اجتهاد لو ارجع لهم ثاني فقط احلي عندهم ما اتعشى عموماً اتمنى اخذ الملاحظة بعين الاعتبار تمنيت الريش تجي پيور بدون اضافات وجنبها الصوص اللي يبي يحط صوص🙏🏻

بصراحة كنت متحمسين مره للمطعم بعد ما سمعنا عنه بس الأكل طلع عادي الطبق الوحيد اللي عجبنا وكان لذيذ هو كوبي باو 👌. جربنا ستيك ريب آي، طعمه كويس

Very nice place with a Great atmosphere, delicious variety of food decorations 👌🏻 , about the service : amazing 🤩. a Special thanks to Tawfiq and Aiva they made sure that we are having a great time their warm hospitality made us feel very special and we got a complimentary Japanese cheesecake by the end I can’t thank you enough your food and service is top notch 👌🏻👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻🤍 Do I advice someone to visit the place ? The answer is big YES it worth it big time.
