Great experience at Hong Loong. I ate here with my sister while visiting Dubai, and everything was on point. The food was intentional, well presented, and tasted great — portions were generous and we left completely full. As someone with Asian taste buds, the flavors really hit and felt authentic. Big thanks to Chef Diego for the amazing dishes; he even took the time to introduce himself and ask how the food was. Service from Wilbert, James, and Ruffa was friendly and attentive. Loved the dark ambiance with Chinese red accents. Overall, a memorable meal and definitely worth a visit.

A special mention goes to Christine Ruffa, whose warm hospitality, attentiveness, and professionalism made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout the evening. Her thoughtful service and attention to detail greatly enhanced our experience. The culinary excellence was led by Chef Diego Sharman, whose creativity and mastery were evident in every dish. Each plate was beautifully presented and full of flavor, highlighting high-quality ingredients and exceptional technique. The balance of flavors and overall execution were simply outstanding. The combination of excellent service, refined atmosphere, and remarkable cuisine made this a truly exceptional dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a sophisticated and memorable meal at Sofitel.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at HONG LOONG and I must say, it exceeded all expectations! From the moment we walked in, the ambience was warm and welcoming. What truly set this place apart was the attention to detail. The service was exceptional, starting from Ms. Tamzin and Mr. Wilbert whom was able to adjust our booking timing earlier as we have to travel back Ras Al Khaimah. A big shoutout and appreciation to Chef Diego and Mr James, who managed to come up to our table to extend their welcome and assured us for a smooth and Delicious flow of Dishes despite the floor being packed. The menu was extensive, offering a wide variety of options that catered all tastes. We started with the appetizer and went our way up to the Main Course and Desserts. All dishes were a standout - packed with fresh ingredients and perfectly balanced flavour. I can't wait to return and explore more of the Menu.

We had an unforgettable dinner experience at Hong Loong Restaurant, where we celebrated our post-wedding dinner with my parents in-law, who were visiting Dubai for the first time. It was the perfect place to mark such a special family moment. The food was outstanding—delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented—and the ambiance made the evening even more meaningful and relaxed. What truly stood out was the exceptional service. Special thanks to Sir Wilbert, Ms. Christine, Ms. Ruffa, and Mr. Sharman for their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. They made my parents feel especially welcomed and ensured our celebration was truly memorable. Thank you to the entire Hong Loong team for giving us such a wonderful experience. Highly recommended, and we will definitely return.

Great staff, especially Tamsin, Santha, Simran Wilbert and chef Muilana. We were celebrating a birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make the surprise even more special! Lots of balloons, chocolates, dates and a very special greeting card that was signed in different languages by the staff 😍. What a nice gesture… cannot thank them enough. Additionally, the food was excellent and beautifully presented.

We had an amazing experience eating dinner at Hong Loong and the whole staff especially Ruffa was very welcoming and lovely. 10/10 and can 100% recommend!

Die Qualität der Zutaten ist hervorragend, und die Gerichte werden frisch und authentisch zubereitet. Auch die Portionsgrößen sind großzügig, was das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sehr fair macht. Ein perfekter Ort für ein elegantes Abendessen, bei dem man die Aromen Asiens in einer luxuriösen Umgebung genießen kann. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Excellent hotel restaurant. As hotel guests we had the dine in menu which did not disappoint. Service was great with friendly staff, ambience was nice with most of the clientele being hotel guests. I could foresee an issue if you are not a hotel guest in which case you may find the service a bit long, but otherwise a good dining experience.

I've been a regular at Sofitel The Palm since 2017. I'm surprised that I haven't tried Hoong Loong till now. The staff are absolutely lovely and the food portions are generous. The atmosphere is a quiet and chill one. Definitely worth the money.

Wir haben hier schon zwei Mal gegessen und wurde sehr lieb und aufmerksam von Sandi bedient. Sie hat uns die Speisen erklärt und war sehr zuvorkommend. Wir werden erneut in das Restaurant essen gehen. Vielen Dank für das tolle Erlebnis.

Fantastic food at the Hong Loong restaurant and the service was excellent to go with it. We had the chicken satay, which they will change the peanut sauce for sweet chilli, and the vegetable spring rolls, both excellent. Main was the beef rib which was the most flavourful meal I’ve had and the sweet and sour which has lychee which was great. The chocolate mocha, or fondant was great as well as the fruit. Service was excellent, Bijil our waiter was very thoughtful and also talked to us about placed to visit. Visited a second time and ag8n we were not disappointed. The curry puffs were excellent, wife had the mango sticky rice which she thought was divine. Then as it was our last night they surprised us with an additional Yuzu Cheesecake with a goodbye message, now I don’t eat cheesecake but this was awesome…..

The food was outstanding each dish was beautifully presented and full of rich, balanced flavors. The dim sum was fresh and delicate, the seafood dishes were cooked to perfection, and the sauces were incredibly flavorful without being overpowering. A special mention goes to Christine, Ruffa and Sharman , who made our evening truly memorable. Their warm personality, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests elevated the entire experience. They guided us through the menu with great recommendations and ensured everything was perfect throughout the meal. If you’re looking for delicious food, excellent service, and a beautiful atmosphere, Honglong Restaurant at The Palm is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

One of the best pan Asian restaurants I have tried. Literally everything was great Sharman and Sandi were excellent with service. We look forward to visiting again. Well worth a try if you are in Dubai.

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and cared for by Tamsin and Ruffa, whose service was beyond excellent. Their kindness and attention to detail added a personal touch that elevated the evening. Chef Mulana deserves a standing ovation for the remarkable dishes. Every item on the menu was bursting with flavor and meticulously prepared. The creativity and quality of the dishes showcased the chef's passion and skill, leaving us eager to return for another taste. While the restaurant's ambiance and design were lovely, it’s clear that the heart and soul of HONG LOONG lie in its exceptional team. Without Tamsin, Ruffa, and Chef Mulana, the place would lose its magic. They’re the true essence of what makes this restaurant special. If you're looking for not just a meal but a memorable dining experience, HONG LOONG is the place to go. Highly recommended!

This is a great Asian restaurant in the Sofitel hotel. We were half board at the hotel and this was by far the best restaurant on the plan. The service was excellent and Simbah our server was delightful. Highly recommend.
