This hotel is located in the center of a sports complex with a partially completed stadium and baseball field on opposite sides. It lies away from the main streets so that it is quiet. The hotel is clean, rather spacious, but a bit dark in the stairs. The rooms are clean, and towels are changed regularly. I stayed there in February of 2018 so that it was off season and the place was rather empty. The breakfast is typical continental with pastries and eggs too, and you can go back for seconds. The biggest plus are some of the desk managers. In particular, a young woman, Ms Sima Dastamooz, whose English is excellent (the rest of the staff speak little or no English). Ms. Dastamooz was very helpful and made my week-long visit a pleasure. She was quick to see that my needs were met with regards to everything from taxis to locations of nearby restaurants, and the use of a room for meetings with my colleagues. It was a welcome relief to find this charming, well-educated young woman working behind the desk of this hotel. It made my visit to Karaj very successful.
