I wouldnt even given them one star.
Today, I visited IDC Hazro for my medical tests. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and unsatisfactory.
First of all, the staff behavior was rude and unprofessional, which is something I have personally experienced multiple times at this branch. After giving my samples, I politely requested them to check my blood pressure. Initially, they refused and said that they do not check blood pressure at all.
However, I reminded them that during my previous visit, when I had an ECG done, the staff had checked my blood pressure without any issue. Their response was that they only check blood pressure with ECG procedures. Honestly, this explanation made no sense to me.
As a patient paying around 10,000–11,000 PKR for tests, it is very disappointing that such a basic and simple check could not be facilitated. Blood pressure checking is not a complicated or expensive procedure. In many healthcare facilities, especially in the U.S. where I am coming from, basic vitals like height, weight, and blood pressure are routinely checked before or during medical procedures as part of standard patient care.
What disappointed me even more was the attitude of the staff. Patients should be treated with respect, professionalism, and a welcoming attitude. Instead, the behavior I experienced felt dismissive and unhelpful.
Eventually, I had to visit another lab just to get my blood pressure checked, where they did it easily without any issue. I used to recommend IDC to others, but after this experience, I am highly dissatisfied and seriously reconsidering visiting IDC again in the future.
I hope the management takes this complaint seriously, improves staff behavior, and focuses more on patient care and customer service.
