ILS Bariatric Care, Salt Lake

This hospital is situated near City Centre 1. There is no specific parking area from the hospital. But cars are generally parked by the road side. Its safe because during our hospitalization, we have kept our car parked at the road for continuous 3days and also thr hospital security guards keep an eye on it if asked. Hospital is clean, staffs are courteous and helpful. During this covid situation, entry of visitors are strictly prohibited. So there is no visiting hours. Only in pregnancy cases, they allow 1 family member to stay at the hospital along with patient in cabin room only. Meals for the member will be provided by hospital and chargeable. Nurses are very helpful and always attentive. Foods are all veg but good tastewise. The hospital does not charge unnecessary high bills, unless prescribed doctor raises the bill by changing duration of stay, medical tests, medicines, etc. Hospital is under PPN network.

Comparatively better service than other big hospitals in Kolkata. Most of the employees are helpful

Unorganized, chaotic place in the name of a hospital. They are popular just because of their locational advantage. Pathology rates are highest in this hospital. Enclosed is an images of "Suite" room they have. Fungas on the ceilings and wall? Judge for yourself the quality of the hospital.

Maternity Ward is amazing, very good behaviour, very good food and most importantly care unit nurses are very good.

One of the best branch of ILS in Kolkata. This branch is highly recommend by me, because of their service and goodwill to their patients. One of the best doctor panel is provided by them in each and every department. Apart from this their diagnosis is so authentic , one can must rely on them as they don't do any unnecessary delay in providing the report to the families of patient. Moreover all the front and back office staffs are so humble and they treat their patient with care and responsibilities. Also in pandemic they follow all the guidelines of WHO properly. Being a family member of patient , I am very satisfied with them.

It's the worst hospital I have ever gone to. basically here doctors, staff will do everything to gain more money from their patients. They don't care how much problem patient is facing, doctors will always find out a way to extract money from you. I was in that hospital for my mother's operation, after operation she didn't feel better and day by day her pain was increasing. We have again consulted the doctor but no hope. Doctor/staffs will take your entire day for 1/2 tests. I just want to say use your money to find better hospitals not like these.

Treatment is well...but overall my experience is pathetic. The nursing staffs are not coordinated with each other, each one provides different statements regarding the patient. TPA desk is a horrible place, they keep laughing and chatting with each other, making delay in sending claim approval. No cafeteria or food court for patient party, unhygienic washroom, no parking....moreover the security guards are denying to assist with wheelchair for the patient. Doctors are very nice and helpful, but overall management is worst more than nothing.

This is a very good hospital. All doctors & nurses nature is very polite & good. My mother Ranjana Pramanik's bariartic surgery & Marina successfully done by Dr. Om Tantia & Dr. Aruna Tantia mam. My mother's Next surgery is very soon in this hospital.., Uterus tumor & piles. I hope next two operations are successfully done as good as the first operation. Today my mother going to Kolkata for her physical check up.(Dr.Om Tantia) With regards : Her son Somnath Pramanik.

I am satisfied with ILS for treatment as well as management also. On 21 Aug 21, I took my mother in emergency. Subsequently she was admitted for four days under Dr. Debjit Ghosh. She is very much pleased with Doctor and attending Nurses. Doctor also called two days stating her health status. Whenever needed Nurses provided support to my mother with smiling face. Nurses are polite and humble. Almost all medical investigation can be carried out here. Ambulance service is available.This hospital is under Preferred Provider Network.

Thay are give use fake amount of our patient..100000 is the main bill.but Tay are printed our bill 153304.. otherwise everything is good..

I am writing this review sitting at the waiting area of the hospital. If there was any way of rating 0 I would have done that. Absolutely rubbish nursing home. First my mother got admitted yesterday her for her surgery scheduled today. We opted for a twin sharing cabin with costs rs 4500/day bed charge( higher than Bellevue) . But to our surprise the room was too small and suffocating. No windows, nothings just 4 walls around. To top it there was construction going on the above floor hence too noisy, irritating and disturbing for the patient. We went down and asked for room change but nobody had any idea. Now day 2 OT was scheduled at 4pm, they took the patient to the OT area at 4:40pm.we were still okay with the delay. We were told we will let us know once the OT starts. At 5.20pm almost an hour later we were told due nonavailability of OT my mother's surgery will be delayed by an hour. How the hell can a planned hospitalization not get a OT in time that too after preparing the patient. It's 6:30pm now and they have kept the patient waiting at the OT lobby with no idea when the surgery will start. To add to the above there was absolute chaos in the OT lobby with minimum 50 ppl for one patient enjoying themselves on the stairs blocking the way for others, shouting, laughing loudly,eating as if its a picnic and no body was telling them anything reason they gave some fat notes to the darwan. This is just unacceptable in a hospital. Day 3 we opted and they gave estimate as per twin sharing. After OT (please note a serious surgery) they decided to move her to gen ward since they have conveniently given her twin sharing bed to other patient. I am still wondering how the hell they are running this way?? !! I will write to corporate to blacklist this hospital.

Hospital is Okay, but they need to understand the requirements of being taken care of differently foe different age group, a baby requires more care, which is missing somehow. another part rooms are not good, fridge is not working, AC is not working as required, . I feel Rs 7000 is a decent amount to get a good room. Policies of the hospital on attendant is also not friendly.

Very bad staff and their relationship with patients and their families. The food is also plain without any flavours and the quantity is inadequate. They will harrass the patient's family before discharge by keeping them waiting and say that that have not yet received it. Even if the bill is in the receptionist's desk, they will keep you waiting till late hours. At last they will say patient will be discharged next day and the family will have to come again the next day.

Nice hospital.. I was admitted here for around 6 days. Staffs take care a lot and the food served was also very good. They don't suck your money like other private hospitals. Treatment price is also reasonable. Overall Excellent!!

I am extremely happy with the services which i getting from ILS hospital Saltlake employee MR. They've squeezed in the maximum possible in the small spaces available, so everything is a little cramped. The staff were polite and helpful. Had gone for OPD consultation only, so don't know of their inhouse facilities, also if their documentation process has improved. 2.5 years ago had a not so great experience for insurance claim with them.

My brother was suffering from kidney disorder and the doctor said dialysis was the only feasible solution at that time. After looking for this procedure in several hospitals and clinics, we finally decided to go with the ILS hospitals Salt Lake. The doctors and staffs are really coordinating and does everything to ease the patient. My brother feels a lot comfortable and safe around them.

I would highly recommend Dr Om Tantia but certainly not the hospital. Had my mom’s surgery here under Dr Tantia, the surgery and procedures were excellent resulting in quick and seem less recovery. The loss of 3 stars is due to the arrogant and lackadaisical behaviour of staff. Their work is no doubt good, but the chip on their shoulder is frustrating. Nobody responds when patient rings the bell, god knows how they handle emergencies. You can’t ask them any question, as either they’ll choose to seal their lips, or answer with such frustration as though asking question was a crime. It was a distressful experience dealing with majority of the staff there. I was told in the OT that Mom will be sent to the room in 15 minutes after keeping under observation, but for more than an hour I heard nothing from them, obviously I freaked out. On inquiring with the nurses, they had the audacity to just make a grumpy face and not call and inquire until I put my foot down. She finally was sent to room after 2 hours post several follow ups by me. I understand if you are keeping patient under observation, the least I am expecting is to open your mouth and keep the family members informed. I didn’t intend to blurt out the negativity until now when the follow up visit was an even worse experience. Dr Anshuman had some attitude, as he didn’t seem pleased to answer any of the post surgery clarification we were seeking. He instructed clearly, but on raising a doubt, his response would be “did I say you can’t do this”? I am thankful to them for doing a fine job with the surgery but I would certainly not recommend the hospital purely due to the attitude of staff who seem so frustrated and you just cannot ask them anything. I suggest have more elaborate sign boards and put everything in writing all around, as clearly you have serious communication issues. A little bit assurance and warmth will harm no one.

I have long list of complaints. Some of the nursing staff are extremely rude and careless. Once they even forgot to administer one of my medicines and did so only when the doctor checked. I had to spend one night without a blanket despite asking the nurse on duty more than once. Finally, another nurse gave me an extra bedsheet saying that there are no more blankets available on the floor. On the day of my discharge, they had not provided lunch till 1:30 and I had to ask for it. There were some billing issues too. I'm never going to use this hospital again.

Hopeless experience. Had my first cesarean operation here .the operation was done right by the concerned doctor although. But my newborn baby suffered hopelessly due to the pediatricians inexperience. My daughter was diagnosed with problems she never had and thereby was given innumerable tests .my 5day old baby had to go through such painless tests and saline due to doctors negligence. Thankfully got my daughter transferred to another hospital and could safely return back my baby .
