Here in the cold winter season I found one of the warmest places in Shiraz! Traveling solo here from the US and spent the night with Iran Culinary Tours, it was a great time for all and I really enjoyed the food. I’m not the best cook myself so really appreciate Kharateh and family preparing parts of the meal in advance to lay out the groundwork well before we arrived. The music and chats in the meantime were enjoyable and overall the experience was lovely. Can definitely recommend adding Iran Culinary Tours to your itinerary in Shiraz!

Mexican family here! This was truly an unforgettable experience during our trip to Iran. We were able to see things for ourselves, learn through the process, and experience firsthand the incredible Iranian hospitality. It was a beautiful, eye-opening experience from start to finish. Khatereh, our host, was incredibly kind and welcoming. Highly recommended.

My favorite part of Iran’s cuisine was the family-style dining — big shared plates, amazing food, and warm hospitality. Every meal came with stories, traditions, and laughter, making it feel less like a restaurant visit and more like being welcomed into someone’s home. Truly unforgettable. 🍽️🇮🇷

I had a very nice experience with Iran Culinary Tours! We were welcomed with tea and traditional sweets. After that we made three courses for the dinner (entree, main and dessert). They had done some preparations already, so the cooking was a smooth process. In the meantime we enjoyed traditional music and later the meal together. Would definitely recommend this expedience if you are traveling to Shiraz!

This was my first Iranian cooking experience and it was fantastic! The host Katere and her family were very kind and so welcoming! We got to prepare multiple dishes and then we got to sit and hear a traditional song mostly sung at weddings. We ate together and shared stories about life. I highly recommend this tour!

The family that runs this amazing cooking class know how to teach Iranian cooking techniques that are very easy to learn and follow. The exquisite cuisine made for the best experience we could have asked for. I’d recommend them to anyone who is hoping to learn how to cook local Iranian dishes. It was a great experience and actually really amazing food event . We spent some time chatting and learning about Iranian cuisine and culture then we practiced together to make a delicious food and dessert and eventually we had the great opportunity to eat together.
