As an American, I visited Iran for about 2 weeks. I chose IranSafar because it was easy to get my visa (takes 6 weeks, then another 2 weeks to send to the Iranian consulate in Washington DC to get the final approval) and the payment plan was not a hassle for me. Nothing to pay upfront until your visa is approved. Then the agency will start making reservations. All the hotels were very nice. My favorite was in Qeshm Island b/c of the room and my opinion...the BEST breakfast options and Yazd with its beautiful courtyard. Being in Iran takes me back to ancient times with their alleys, historical sites, etc. It is very diverse. The head covering is not mandatory in most places, but wherever you go, you still should respect the country's customs and traditions, so I didn't mind it at all. It's not like I had to wear a niqab or burqa. The different ways Iranian women wear head scarves is very fasionable. The tour guides were amazing! They take better photographs than me, so that was nice. The drivers themselves are tour guides, too. Iran is a beautiful country with beautiful architectures, friendly faces (you don't know how excited people, including children, get when they see an American, or any foreign tourists), good food, etc. All the hotels I stayed at with the guides, the hotels always gave the guides the suite and I got the smaller rooms but the guides were nice enough to switch. I mean...why give me a small room with my luggages? I told the tour manager who will make sure the hotels from now on does it right but if not, make sure the guides give you the bigger and better rooms b/c you are the guest! Going to Iran right now is the perfect time b/c you get so much for your money. Generally food costs about $3/meal depending on where you go. I bought 2 pieces of dessert for $0.65 when at home it would probably cost me at least $5.00. It's bad for them, but good for western tourists, so pack lightly so you can go home with more stuff! Some things like caviar, gold, silver, maybe saffron, are still very expensive. Personally, MORE expensive. But I bought clothes, gifts, etc. for very cheap. Some things to be aware of...leaving the US, homeland security may ask how much money you are carrying. Going to Iran, make sure you have all your stuff, like passport, itinerary, visa, and address of the first hotel you'll be staying at. Go there with an open mind and enjoy Iran because the country seems very happy to receive foreign tourists!

Eine Reise in 1.001 Nacht! So lautet meine Überschrift der Reise vom 07.04.2025 bis 14.04.2025. Es war immer mein Traum, den Iran zu bereisen und dann habe ich es tatsächlich gemacht. Iransafar hat mir das Visum innerhalb von 10 Tagen besorgt, 5 Sterne Hotels in Shiraz und Isfahan gebucht sowie entsprechende persönliche kompetente Reiseführer für Shiraz Nadia Badiee und für Isfahan Abbas Alijanien. Alles war perfekt von Iransafar organisiert, von Anfang bis Ende und ich habe mich sehr wohl im Iran gefühlt. Die in Deutschland vorherrschenden Berichterstattungen kann ich nicht bestätigen, alle Menschen waren freundlich und insbesondere das Servicepersonal sehr hilfsbereit. Ich konnte mich auch frei bewegen. Auf jeden Fall werde ich weitere Städte und Landschaften im Iran besuchen und ganz sicher auf die kompetente Hilfe von Iransafar zurückgreifen. A journey into 1,001 nights! That's the title of my trip. It was always my dream to travel to Iran and then I actually did it. Iransafar organised the visa for me within 10 days, booked 5-star hotels in Shiraz and Isfahan as well as personal, competent travel guides for Shiraz Nadia Badiee and for Isfahan Abbas Alijanian. Everything was perfectly organised by Iransafar from start to finish and I felt very comfortable in Iran. I cannot confirm the prevailing reports in Germany, everyone was friendly and the service staff in particular were very helpful. I was also able to move around freely. I will definitely be visiting other cities and landscapes in Iran and will certainly rely on the competent help of Iransafar.

I really enjoyed visiting the amazing places and eco sites, learning about the rich cultures, and tasting the delicious cuisines of South Iran. I appreciate the travel agent professionalism, attention to detail, and customer service. They made my trip easy, comfortable, and enjoyable. I could not have asked for a better travel agent. Merci à l'agence de Téhéran IRAN SAFARTOURS de nous avoir concocté un splendide voyage. Nous avons été ravis de découvrir un pays magnifique à l'histoire plusieurs fois millénaires, terre des Perses. Nous avons été surpris par les paysages surprenant, les attractions naturelles et les nombreux sites de l'UNESCO ! Pourtant nous avons beaucoup voyagé autour du globe et en Iran nous avons retrouvé presque tous les panoramas que nous avons vu ailleurs. C'est très surprenant ! Mais le plus: c'est l'accueil de ce peuple à la gentillesse naturelle !!! Autres aspects: les hôtels des milles et une nuit, des repas diversifiés, un guide francophone avec des connaissances inépuisables sur son pays, la voiture confortable et les surprises tout au long du séjour. Vraiment, je ne m'attendais pas à tout cela ! Pays où nous nous sommes senti en sécurité. Encore une fois, je remercie du fond du cœur l'agence Iran SAFARTOURS de nous avoir pris en charge pendant 15 jours mémorables. Nous reviendrons c'est certain. Foi fenomenal. Adoramos tudo ! A agência facilitou tudo que pode em relação ao pagamento, pois não tínhamos muito dinheiro em cash, só em cartão de crédito. O roteiro foi ideal, pois estava um calor louco e preferimos fazer tudo, mais devagar. As cidades que visitamos foram sensacionais mas as que mais gostamos foram Yazd, Isfahan e Abyaneh. O Reza, motorista/guia que ficou conosco, era excepcional. Fez de tudo para nos agradar e satisfazer nossos pedidos. Dirige muito bem, conhece o país e sua história à fundo, fala um excelente inglês e é muito educado. Passamos 14 dias deliciosos. Como brasileiros não precisam de visto por 15 dias, optamos por essa solução. Adoramos !!!

My partner and I travelled to Iran in November 2023 for 12 days. We booked our trip through Iransafar, who were excellent throughout. Mr Farhad Vali was our primary liaison in the head office, who compiled a personalised and affordable itinerary based on our desires. We spoke to many local and intentional tour operators. Iransafar differentiated themselves through their rapid speed of response, clear English language communication, honest counsel about itinerary elements that are seasonal (what is good and not good based on time of year) and willingness to customise (rather than just selling us a "cookie cutter" trip on the "classic route"). On the tour, we were served by two exceptional guides; Mr Hamid Hasanpour (Tabriz and Kandovan) and Mr Mehdi Hooshyari.(Tehran, Kashan, Maranjab, Abyaneh, Esfahan, Yazd, Persepolis and Shiraz). Both guides had exceptional communication skills and deep bodies of knowledge on Iran today and in the past. They provided rich context that deepened our understanding and enjoyment of all we saw. They were also adaptable, altering the itinerary to respond to our needs on the fly with pleasure. At no point did we ever feel unsafe, which says much about Iran's undeserved reputation but also the calbre of the guides, who helped us interact with locals throughout. The guides were very attentive, picking up on small cues to enhance our trip. For example, Mehdi used his network to secure us access to a carpet weaving collective to witness the manufacturing process and separately organised an opportunity for me to try sheep's head for breakfast, both after these were mentioned casually by us in passing. Both guides were authentic, displaying their own enthusiastic personalities and willing to discuss any topic. They handled the logistics superbly, ensuring we invested time in the most important sights and also making sure we saw all we'd planned (even if it meant they missed a meal or had an abbreviated nights sleep). They made Iran, which can seem intimidating with international financial sanctions and restricted internet, easy! As for Iran itself, the country is replete with stunning landscapes, historical significance, unique and surprising culture, beautiful landmarks and more, however it is the warmth of the people that stands out. There are so many examples of this but this is perhaps best captured in a single anecdote. We were enjoying tea and cake one night in Esfahan, and upon going to pay it became apparent that another patron, who had left unannounced and without seeking any thanks, had paid the bill for the three of us, a gesture of his hospitality and appreciation we were visiting Iran. Oh so humbling! You owe it to yourself to visit this spectacular country and, when you visit, you should do so with Iransafar.

I had such a wholesome and seamless experience in Iran through Iransafar. From helping to accomodate my visa application to setting up my short stay itinierary where all the must see visits such as the Unesco sites are compressed so that ‘nothing’ is missed. Everything that I’ve experienced really left a memorable and unforgettable moments especially towards the heartwarming locals there who accepted me with open arms and smiles. Will definitely miss and come back for Iran one day.

My partner Dorothy, daughter Livia and I throughly enjoyed our 16 day odyssey travelling through Iran. Iransafar tours tailored our itinerary to our needs and provided a professional, personable and knowledgeable tour guide who drove us everywhere. We had an amazing time in Iran, and this was mainly possible thanks to Iransafar's services. In particular, the trip schedule worked well and all the transfers between cities and to and from airports went smoothly. On this subject, all Iransafar's drivers (Hamid, Babak, Reza, and Fattah) were really nice and helpful, and we had a great time with all of them. We enjoyed our stays in Tehran, Esfahan, Yazd and Shiraz, visiting Abyaneh and Meybod, and seeing Persepolis, Pasargad, and Naqsh-e Rostam. All the hotels selected by Iransafar were very well located and the people working there were always nice and always tried to help us to the best of their abilities. Iransafar also provided us with an Iranian SIM card, which proved to be really useful, and helped us with the visa application. Thanks a lot to Majid for helping us organise this trip and for being always available to respond to our many questions. We really enjoyed every bit of it. We definitely recommend this agency if travelling to Iran.
