I had a very disappointing experience at Jasmin Hospital TMG, and I feel it is important to share my observations so that management can address these issues and future visitors can make informed decisions.
From the moment we entered the hospital, the overall environment was far below the standards expected from a healthcare facility. The reception and information desk were often unattended. Even when staff members were present, some of them displayed poor behavior, lacked professionalism, and were not helpful when assistance or information was needed.
The cleanliness of the hospital was one of the biggest concerns. Many areas of the building, including patient rooms, appeared dirty and had unpleasant odors. I even noticed spider webs in some rooms, which suggests that regular cleaning and maintenance may not be taking place adequately.
The condition of the toilets was particularly poor. Some toilet seats were broken, taps were not functioning properly, and the public washrooms were in an unacceptable state. Water was only available through a basin, forcing people to use containers to access water. The washrooms were very cramped, poorly ventilated, and had a strong bad smell. Additionally, the toilets were built at a height that made them difficult for patients to use, especially those with mobility issues. During our 24-hour stay, I did not observe any cleaning staff maintaining these facilities.
Another issue was the hospital's ventilation. The fans installed in the rooms were old, noisy, and inefficient. The excessive noise caused discomfort and disturbance to our patient instead of providing a comfortable recovery environment.
On the day our patient was discharged, the lifts stopped working. This created significant inconvenience and hardship for patients and attendants, especially for those who had difficulty walking or required assistance.
Parking was also a major problem. There was practically no proper parking space available in front of the hospital. The area outside was overcrowded, making vehicle access difficult and forcing patients and attendants to walk a considerable distance.
I have taken photographs of these issues to support my observations and to make it clear that this review is based on actual experiences rather than any personal dispute with the hospital or its staff.
This review reflects my personal opinion and experience during our stay. I have no personal conflict with the hospital. My intention is simply to provide honest feedback and encourage improvements in cleanliness, maintenance, staff behavior, patient comfort, and overall hospital management.
I sincerely hope the administration takes these concerns seriously and works to improve the quality of service provided to patients and their families.
