Zallaq Beach is one of Bahrain’s most notable public beaches and is currently undergoing upgrades to improve its facilities. It offers a family-friendly and organized environment, making it a preferred spot for both residents and visitors. The entry system is straightforward: there’s an entrance fee for visitors above nine years old, while children enjoy easier access. The beach opens from 7:00 AM until sunset. Once the sun sets, swimming is not allowed, but guests can still stay, relax, and enjoy the peaceful seaside atmosphere. One of the highlights of Zallaq Beach is its breathtaking sunset. The reflection of the sun on the water combined with the direct sound of the waves creates a truly mesmerizing scene. Facilities such as restrooms and seating areas are available, though there is clear room for improvement. The management is working on upgrades, but to elevate Zallaq Beach to the next level, inspiration could be taken from Saudi Arabia’s world-class beaches such as Al Khobar Beach, Half Moon Beach, and Jubail Fanateer Beach. Overall, Zallaq Beach (Jazaer) stands out as Bahrain’s only true public beach that can be compared with Saudi Arabia’s standard family beaches. Beautiful sights with all facilities of sweet water to bath after and entertainment plus food and drinks 🍸. Good thing is they provide transport to the beach area. Love to be there.

I visited Zallaq Beach on the 3rd day of Eid 2025 Tuesday to enjoy the sunset. Parking was difficult due to ongoing construction and expansion. The entrance fee was 2 BHD. The shower and toilet area was crowded, and there was no cleaner on site, making it quite messy. Overall, the beach was clean, quiet, and calm, making it ideal for a family picnic.

Jazaer Beach is a hidden beautiful spot for a relaxing day by the sea. The beach is clean, spacious, and perfect for picnics, swimming, or just enjoying the sunset.

The environment of this beach is so nice, I like the views. It is quite long and the water is perfect, clean. You have food and drink places where you can exchange the 2 bd you paid in the entrance. The only inconvenience is that the sand is too compacted.

Hmmmm! Haven’t visited for a year and what a difference! Major construction work ongoing around the beach, still charging BD2 even though you have to listen to diggers moving earth in the background. Food outlets still there but whole place was deserted. No excuse for rubbish anywhere when so may staff sitting around doing nothing. Be back next year when hopefully things have improved….

It is very disappointing to see that an island does not have any good beaches at all. Either you pay the premium for ritz or four seasons resorts or you can travel to the neighbour country to get access to good beaches for free. I went to Jazaer because of the hype only to find out that 80% of the beach is under construction and for VIP area, I had to walk 10 mins carrying all my belongings. My suggestion would be to either dont go there for at least one or two years until cebarco takes their sweet time to finish construction or try malkiya beach.

Entrance 2 bd, you can spend in a cafe. sunbed with umbrella 4 bd. there is a cafe -caribou, papa jons, dose. cafes are open from 10.00. the water is very clean. Good for kids, families. open from 8.00 to 22.00. Swimming is allowed until sunset. recommend weekdays early in the morning.

Brilliantly made over!! Visited the beach for the first time after the make over. The property is well maintained with ample staff to guide you through. A BHD 2/- entry is charged which can be utilized at the participating partners at the beach. This gives you access to the beach while another BHD 4/- is charged to gain access to the beach beds and shade. Various popular cafes like Dose, Caribou etc are present at the beach. Shower and changing rooms are also available for use after the beach swim. Safety is given priority with lifeguards present throughout the beach. A kids play area is also present. Overall a good beach for a family day out.

Entrance fee is 2 BD per person, but they will give you same amount coupon which can spend at beachside cafe (like dose, cofee, papa john..etc) and shops. Beach is clean and good to swim but it allowed till 6:00 pm (Sunset) thenafter life guard would whistle us to come out. Swimming is allowed only till 6:00 pm but you can enjoy beach side and sand till 10:00 pm. Sunbed with umbrella is costly around 4 BD per bed. but you can enjoy beach access which is dedicated only to sunbed person. Need improvement to make bigger washroom, mosque and more shower area as during holidays there is no space to change or to take clean beach sand.

Jazaer Beach in Bahrain, the Middle East is a relaxing beach that people enjoy. In summer, they can swim for a period of time until sunset. The parking lot is very easy to park in. Jazaer Beach has the Arabian/Persian Gulf, Earth’s water, Earth’s ocean, Earth’s sea, and others. I visited in Summer 2023 CE because Bahrain has a hot climate and a hot desert so people can enjoy.

Excellent beach for outing with family ... Private beach was maintained neatly. Entry fee was 2 bd each person and Kids are free. We can redeem the entry fee in shops inside. It has sand bag to sit near waves. Restroom was clean. Play area was good. . . Must visit place!!!

Very clean and silent beach,entry price is 2Bd per person,currently 2 coffee shops and ice cream shops are there.

Great revamp of the 🏖 beach 2bd entrance fee. But there is a coupon for 2bd if you go before 31st dec 2021. And only valid on that day. Beach is accessible until sunset 🌅 and there are lifeguards now. No barbecue, no fishing and no alcohol 🍺 There is papa johns, caribou coffee, tikka2go and dose cafe. We can stay until late but no access ⛔️ to water. Overall great experience and beautiful sunset 🌅 in this winter ❄️ climate Worth the money 💴 The toilets are super clean 🧼 There is a prayer room now The toiles has changing room as well.

This place has gone through a significant upgrade! Very organised and well maintained , the 2bd entry fee you can use in the inside venues, id highly suggest a fresh pineapple juice from dose cafe that comes served in a pineapple! There are also sunbeds available at an extra cost , overall exceptional 👏

Good beach, very good for swimming and to bring the family but there are some negatives: lots of oglers who will think nothing of surreptitiously filming ladies / girls with their phones who are not completely covered up. There really should be a family section for this reason.

Lots of construction going on around which is due to end 2026. Sand was not sand but very hard because of how often a vehicles drive on it.
