The K11 Golden Gate - Chennai

New and neat, but so small rooms for the quoted price, definitely not for families, works out for individuals and businesses trips, no car parking, myself parked on the pathway that too on the busiest street, not advisable. Smoking inside premises should be avoided, and noise on the alleyway at midnight. I recommend if you are solo traveller and without a car, rest the hotel is good

I stayed here for three days. The service was top notch. Thanks to Receptionist Lavanya and the other person at night duty were very cooperative and good hospitality. The rooms were small but was quite comfortable for a short stay. Room cleaning was also good. Bathrooms were clean. The location is very centre to various locations like shopping areas, hospitals, medical centres. The only drawback I felt was the entrance gate which was too heavy since as I was on a medical trip , it was bit difficult for me to handle the entry and exit. Could do something like keeping a security for handling the gate or keeping the reception area ventilated with some kind of protection at the gate area, etc.

Staff response to query must be more clear & it would be better if they offer 24 hours checkout at make my trip offer price as room is very small

The hotel is really crampy and the rooms are very very small . When I checked in the whole room was full of cigarettes smoke smell. Also there are a lot of mosquitoes in the room because of the of utilities pipes opening into room window ( see pictures below) and that area is a mess. Would not advice any one to check in for this cost.

Stayed for a week with family. Excellent service by housekeeping persons and front office staff. Cooperative and helping tendency. Will definitely recommend.

The Good Great rooms, spacious bathrooms. The decor of the hallways rooms, and elevator looks great. The Bad There was no WiFi connectivity in the room. The breakfast is delivered to your room and you have to eat it in a cramped space. The Ugly The bedsheets were dirty. We had two beds in the room and both bedsheets were stained.

Rooms are small but maintained well.. good for a short visit just to freshen up. Lacks parking space.. courteous staff..Overall good 👍..

The location was perfect, and the staff was all very nice. But the room was smaller than advertised in the photos and there was an empty bottle on the table. One of the water bottles was already half drunk by someone else before we came, and the bed had a brown stain with some black hair on the blanket. Overall it's a nice place but the room was a bit worse than we expected.

It's a birthday night cost it is a damn costly and and someone it is a visiting it please check the bed bugs are lot in that hotel I had given a live example for Lavanya as a receptionist or accountant maybe she is there

🙅 Don’t believe the reviews worst service and rooms are not good. Reception staff is very rude after paying huge money we cant expect this service and neatness. Look at the video all bugs

Todo genial Limpieza perfecta y servicio impecable, muy atentos a todo lo que necesites La cama super grande y cómoda Televisor inteligente con pantalla plana y acceso a netflix, YouTube… Baño con agua caliente Hervidor para hacerte tu café/té por la mañana y opción de que tener en desayuno en la misma habitación Zona muy transitada tema tráfico pero no se escucha nada en la habitación

My stay was simply perfect. A new hotel with all the necessary amenities. Clean, comfortable, good mattress, kettle, air conditioning. Centrally located. A highly recommended place to stay in Chennai. Special mention to Lavanya, who treated me with professionalism and kindness throughout.

I had a wonderful stay at The K11 Golden Gate. The hotel is excellent — clean, well-maintained, and offers great comfort. Brand new hotel with high end amenities. A total of 23 rooms available. We stayed in a quadraple room with one single bed and one king bed. Interior designs are top notch. The golden colour gate and golden colour elevator is matched with the hotel name. The location is very strategic. Not far from most of the key places like the US consulate, Marina beach, Temples, Shopping places, Amusement Parks etc. Breakfast was given from an outside restaurant but the quality was good. Car parking space is very limited (2-3 only). As per our experience a few areas of improvement required like a couple of chairs in the room needed, dustbin in the toilet wasn't there, poor towel quality (full of lints), shampoo quality was not good, Hand towel ring beside basin is needed, also shelves for keeping items were limited especially if you're traveling with full family and staying for long duration. But the overall experience was great, highly recommended.

Prices were little high otherwise hotel was clean and nice. Few changes required like in house resturants and food service

We booked a room at 1 500INR with breakfast included, when we arrived, because we were 2 ppl they asked for 2500 without breakfast and 3100 with breakfast… even more than 1 room for each! Trying to scam tourists.

I booked my stay here because I had a visa appointment at VFS. This nice little hotel is family-oriented, has beautiful rooms, excellent service and offers super value for money. I will definitely come back here. A+++

New rooms. Hotel itself was inaugurated in Mar 2025. Interior is good and fully functional. Lift is there too. No sound proof. At times, you hear the neighbours like they are in your room. Room service boys lack etiquettes but playing bollywood numbers loudly when cleaning rooms - they speak no english, no local language. They are obedient at the moment - atleast untill they are settling down in TN. On a busy main Street - have couple of eateries around. There is also a Starbucks nearby.

This is my first time I cane to K11 Golden gate. I stayed here for 3 days. I had the first hand experience in this amazing hotel. I'm totally happy and satisfied with their cleanliness, services and amenities too. One thing is very clear that it's a no brainer to stay here. The owner is so polite and care taker. If you need anything, just let him know. You'll get response promptly. I love this. If I come again to Leela palace, this hotel is my immediate go to place.
