I had heard so much about this restaurant for a long time. My friend Shadi, who happens to be the owner, was always posting stories about it, and every time I saw them, I told myself I need to visit one day. I just never really planned it.
Then one day, completely by chance, I was in the area. I opened the map, saw Kaizu on the map, and told myself, this is the moment. I walked in with no expectations other than “let’s explore”, and what happened next honestly surprised me.
I asked them to recommend the best of the best, and that’s exactly what I got. The experience was fantastic from the first minute: the vibe was warm and inviting, the atmosphere had this strong, positive energy, and every single bite felt different.
The fish in particular, Black Cod, was on another level, each piece had its own unique taste and texture. It genuinely made me feel like all the fish I’d had before belonged to a completely different category.
Even the soup was crafted with so much attention to detail, and the rice was just perfect, everything was thoughtful, balanced, and intentional.
And then came the cheesecake. They recommended it, and I’m so glad they did. With the first bite, I felt like I was transported to another world. I usually avoid very sweet desserts after a meal, but this one changed something in me. It was sweet, yes — but elegant, refined, and unforgettable. I honestly think I might reconsider my dessert rules after this.
