Food quality and quantity was too good. Kansar gujarati unlimeted thali me ek moong sabji, panner sabji,mix.veg sabji, Roti,puri, gujarati Sweet dal, rice, kadhi, khichdi, small bread pakoda 3-4 types aachar,3-4 types of salad,Ras including hei ye sab unlimited hota hei and last me buttermilk hota hei per wo limited hota hei.staff service are also good ek k baad ek unlimited me food service chalu raheti hei.or isme ek baat achhi hei ki unlimited service ala cart nahi hei on table service Rehti hei.must try it guys.

Cockroach was found in paneer sabji of mini thali, this is disgusting. This makes kansar unfit for food standards. Kitchen must be dirtiest and one can fall ill. Please do not go there.

We went there for a late lunch on a Saturday around 2 pm enjoy the non stop thali. There were only one or two tables occupied at that time. One of the best Gujarat Thali in Surat. Out of the almost 20 items served, there was only one dish that I did not enjoy - idla. The non stop hot food was served by a number of waiters

Visited this Gujarati thali restaurant recently and was quite disappointed. The menu felt limited, and the only highlight was the aam ras, which was really good. Service needs improvement, we had to ask for almost everything. No one informed us about options like rice or khichadi. Even after serving, basic things like dal or kadhi were not given unless we asked. The salad was just plain cabbage, which was very basic. Taste of the food was okay, but it lacked the authentic Gujarati flavor and warmth. Overall, not a very satisfying experience.

If you love having gujarati food, it's a nice place to opt for. Staff there is very humble and were in gujrati traditional dress. Hotel managers were attentive and were checking if arrangements are proper and food is served timely. Unlimited thali costs around 350/- per person. They also offer tiffin service. A good place to enjoy gujarati food with friends and family.

Had a great experience at Kansar Thali. The Gujarati thali had a wide variety of dishes and everything tasted fresh and authentic. The sweets and kadhi were especially good. Service was quick and staff were polite. Overall, a nice place for family dining and a proper traditional meal. Would definitely visit again.

Good place to have a Gujrati Thali. Loaded with 4 types of sabji, Daal, Kadi, Aam ras, Gulab Jamun, Roti, Puri, Dhokla, Cutlet, Papad, Chutney, Aachaar and Salad. Good authentic Gujrati taste. Service was very fast and the ambience was good. Seating capacity was enough and we did not have to wait. But people came after us seen waiting. The price was decent but could be a little bit lower. Overall good experience 👍🏼

They serve you a full fledged unlimited Gujarati thali which has 2 sweets, 2 namkeen, 3-4 subzi, 2-3 Indian bread items, 2-3 types of pickles, 2-3 types of rice items, 2-3 types of dal variety and papad, butter milk, etc. everything is unlimited and service is so fast.

Everyone's favorite jamawan place is Etel Kansar where you get unlimited food here the atmosphere is very calm and pleasant the staff here are well uniformed and your dining table is served within 5-5 minutes the captain who is here is very nice delivers to your table and also the food is very good in taste and quality also you can have family functions here and the space is also very good.

Best Food & One Of The Best Service I Have Ever Experienced Keep It Up Team 👍

We ordered the full dish Gujarati thali from Kandar for ₹700. The meal included 4 sabjis,20 roties, acchar , daal -rice, sweet, farsan include dokla and kachori which were unfortunately overly oily – to the point where half the portions were more oil than actual food. However, the aam ras was quite good, and the kachori was also nicely made.but dhokla was not good in taste Overall, the excessive oil in the sabjis was a major letdown, which overshadowed the better parts of the meal.

I went to this place today. Food was great and serving staff was also great. So i thought i should tip all of them. I paid ₹350 for food and ₹500 tip to all of em. While coming back i took one water bottle that was there on table. Instead of asking me to pay, the manager stopped me and said our water is not allowed outside. And took the bottle from me. Are you for real? Who makes these shitty rules? I was not taking some alcoholic beverage. It’s just water. When i asked again just to be sure, he said i will remove the label and then you can take it outside. Is water illegal in India? Or your label is not worth showing to the world? I am a very humble person and never post negative reviews. Cuz as a business owner i know what it costs. Anyways! SHAME ON YOU! And will keep posting until you change your rule. I am expecting a solid meaningful reply from owner under my review.

Ago it was the only place I preferred, but by time don't know why everything is changed, Firstly the food, I ordered: 1 mini tiffin and 1 travelling pack. (Take-out) According to their menu the mini tiffin order contains; (costs 400/-) 4 pc of sweet, 2 type of farsan (4 piece each), 2 type of vegetables, 12 roti, dal rice , 2 papad and pickle . But what I got is; 4 pc of sweet, 2 type of farsan (2-3 extremely small piece of idla and small-small vada), 2 type of vegetables (vegetables kum oil jyada)(literally there is half of it is filled with oil as given in below pic), 12 roti (half cooked, hard to chew), dal rice (dal is okish), 2 papad (a small amount of broken pieces of papad; can't even consider as one), and pickle (which they didn't give me) But they taken full charge of 400 for this mini tiffin . And the travelling pack costs you 160/- and they give you literally small container of food which are shown in image given below. Not at that great experience.🙄

Great experience, Here the food, service , atmosphere is very good. The staff of full hotel wear a traditional dress, which gives a hotel a authentic view. The chair ,painting etc are very different from other restaurants, feels good.

Kansaar.. Gujarati thali.. is good place to have Gujarati cusine. Kansaar is very common name for Gujarati Restaurant in Gujarat. You can try anjeer Vedhmi here. One of the delicious dish . M૭st try. And aam ras in mango season is must have dish here. Rest everything is common with good taste.

Pathetic service .. average food ... Bcoz this is a well established restaurant for many years ... They have started thinking now service and food taste is not important... We had 2 tables... they forgot to serve 3-4 food items like buttermilk and chat on the second table .... Taking customers for granted ....
