I visited *Dr. Arun Muppliyath Raghavan* at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City for an eye check-up of my son. He was very professional, patient, and explained everything clearly. We felt comfortable during the consultation and appreciated the detailed care. The process was smooth and well-organized. I highly recommend him.

16/10/2024 Dr AHMED EL BORAEI is very honest, understanding and friendly person, in the session, my brother feel like he sitting with a family member, he is very empathetic and is committed to keeping his patients as comfortable as possible, he goes a long way in ensuring help even outside working hours, he deserves a salute for his service and commitment and is a true hero! Doesn’t like to prescribe a lot of medications.

I had an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience at Khalifa Behavioral Hospital. First, without any prior notice or explanation, I was abruptly moved to another doctor. When I arrived for my appointment, I ended up waiting over an hour just to meet a trainee doctor—because the actual doctor refused to see me, even though I was on time. It felt like my presence didn’t matter, especially since my assigned doctor wasn’t even available. But what truly shocked me was the behavior of the pharmacist. He was visibly irritated, complaining about his workload, and treated me with complete disrespect. Instead of providing any guidance or support, he aggressively slammed my medication onto the counter like a child having a tantrum. It was both humiliating and unsettling. For a place that’s supposed to help people with mental health challenges, the experience was the complete opposite. If you’re already feeling stressed or vulnerable, this kind of treatment will only make things worse.

ADHA needs to open eyes on ward 8 at sheikh khalifa medical center. The treatment they give the patients is far away below any standard known. I.e. someone admitted themself volunteerly yet they treat them like prisoners and they deprive them from basic need of going out for walk under the sun and fresh air!! Not to mention they don't allow them their rights to contact family while patients request too!!! Serious mental patients sleeping in same rooms with minor cases. Cold rooms, no facilities, lacks any sort of entertainment for patients. Very bad treatment by some nurses , calls are tapped and listened too. The second the patient starts complaining over the bad treatment they getting, they find a reason to disconnect the call. This place is not suitable nor it carries a healthy environment for patients. Please take your loved ones out of there, we own them that and they need us to save them. This place will lead your loved ones to insanity. P.s. don't pay attention to the positive reviews, they are posted by Doctors & nurses From the hospital itself. Please help me to raise this to ADHA.

😱😱 this is the worst psychiatric hospital ever! It needs to be closed and destroyed forever it's worse than jail it's extremely scary I was in the police ward I think it was ward 2 this year in February on valentines day i was there for no reason at all but they still kept me there for 2 months and a week and they wrongly diagnosed me with something i don't have i told them i don't have anything they dont listen and they physically forced me to take drugs medications by pill and injectons they give all patients too much drugs everyday espieceally if you don't even need it these medications ruined my entire body completely i was way better before more normal and they treat you worse than an animal there worse than a criminal like you're not human and everything is completely closed you can't see the sun or anything and males and females have separate wards but everything same here they don't even give patients soap and patients are very dirty toilet always dirty I'm still traumatized from what I saw in toilet and the entire place is very traumatizing they have 2 TV but they only watch very loud quran nothing else if you change it they bully you and the patients are always reading quran I'm not Muslim so it was so hard to see this and listen to this it was extremely annoying the food is very very bad and no food from outside allowed no phones allowed no Internet no electricronics and they give patients the same see through pj only no underwear and no bra the patients are unhygienic and dirty especially the African women and western women some pee on the floor and throw bloody pad on couch. for me i'm emarati I had to ask my family to bring me soap and clothes almost everyday you need to hide your things with nurse because patients will steal it and there's only 1 shower room but they don't wait for you to finish they open the door and you have to share a room the patients always fighting me for no reason especially the women from jail and they have a rule when you first enter the ward they will handcuff your feet for 2 days they won't take it off and then if you insult someone they will handcuff your hands and feet to the bed some patients stay like that for long time so they make them wear dipar and there's always screaming in the ward and fighting and alarms to restrain and some patients are not allowed to call their family some patients only 5 mins a day and they cut the line visiting time is only 15 mins a day but most patients don't get visitors if there's an old lady or teenage girl they will give her your bed and you will have to leave the room all your stuff is kept with the nurses the police are very mean the nurses and doctors and patients they are all super mean especially the nurses this is the worst place on earth and by the way I was in way too many phych wards in uae and I have to say this is the worst one ever never come here and never bring your child here !! I hate my parents for always sending me to phych wards just because I don't listen to them! I'm emarati and this is the reality of uae horrible place to live horrible people they always think they have power over you and want to control you especially if you're female 😡😡

The worst place ever . Don't go there. They will make you more traumatized. They've mixed all cases together. The dangerous and the clam. Adults with kids. They treat you like a prisoner. There is no activities or anything. Only watching TV or sleep. You can get hit from other patients. There is always screaming and alarm going on.

When you visit the patient, there is no ventilation and the place is muted and the smell of cigar is strong. Heidel. It does not make the place easy. The patients need to go out and walk in the sun and breathe clean air for at least 30 minutes. The visitor’s room is not clean and the chairs are worn out as if there is a battle inside. There is no interest and everyone has a phone holder. The place is neglected. I wish someone would pass by and see and take care of the patients. In the end, these are human beings. I hope you will find something for them to enjoy other than television. There is nothing. We don’t see TV. How are they waiting to see each other? And there is no control. I hope you treat patients as human beings, not animals in a herd, and I hope the doctors will not return the patient to the sleeping person. They will make him addicted to the insomniac. The day he comes out of the hospital, he will not be able to sleep except for a sleeper. I hope everyone works in the hospital with a conscience. They are sincere and fear God for the patient. These words are not right of all doctors. Some of them have no morals. They meet the patient and hear him and give him medicine until the animal becomes numb from his strength. Fear God in them. God is sufficient for me and the best agent among you. Do not fear God This world is in your turn, God willing, and after that, you will know that God is true.
