As the second holiest site in Islam, it was established by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in the 7th century and has undergone several expansions. The mosque now features a vast courtyard, multiple prayer halls, and a large dome covering the Prophet's tomb. Its minarets rise up to 105 meters, making it a prominent feature of the Medina skyline.These masjids exemplify the fusion of spiritual significance and architectural excellence, serving as enduring landmarks that continue to inspire and attract visitors from around the globe.
