KOI Dabouq

I recently dined at KOI in Dabouq and had a largely enjoyable experience. Here’s a detailed review of my visit: Atmosphere and Ambiance KOI in Dabouq offers a chic and modern dining environment. The Food Experience I tried several dishes, and here's my take on them: - **Shrimp Noodles**: The shrimp noodles were absolutely delicious. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the shrimp was fresh and succulent. The dish was well-seasoned with a harmonious blend of flavors that made each bite delightful. The balance of textures and the umami-rich sauce made it a standout dish. - **Cooked Sushi**: The cooked sushi was another highlight of the meal. The presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were spot-on. The fish was fresh, and the rice was seasoned just right, maintaining the delicate balance essential for good sushi. It was a satisfying and delectable experience. - **Dumplings**: Unfortunately, the dumplings did not meet the same high standards as the other dishes. They were somewhat lacking in flavor and the texture was not as pleasing. The filling was bland, and the wrapper was a bit too thick and chewy. This was the only letdown in an otherwise excellent meal. Service The service at KOI was impressive. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were quick to respond to any requests and ensured that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. Their professionalism and courteous nature added to the positive experience. Conclusion KOI in Dabouq is a fantastic dining destination for those who enjoy Asian cuisine. The shrimp noodles and cooked sushi were delicious, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality and flavor. While the dumplings were not up to par, the overall experience was very satisfying. I would rate my experience 4.5 out of 5 stars. With a bit of improvement in the dumpling recipe, KOI has the potential to offer a consistently outstanding dining experience. If you're in Dabouq and looking for a place with great food, excellent service, and a lovely ambiance, KOI is definitely worth a visit.

I’ve had some really good dishes and some mediocre ones, but the good dishes stand out. The Korean wings were fire - worth trying if you’re into Korean flavors. I always get the pepper beef udon, I think it’s one of the best ones you can get here. Love the ambience of the place. Service was fast.

My friend and I went to this restaurant and ordered crazy California, crispy California, egg noodles (with veggies, chicken, sweet and sour sauce), and dynamite shrimps. The dynamite shrimps were so good, they were my favorite item. The noodles were good to be honest, but I think I should’ve went with Oyster sauce instead, as the sweet and sour sauce wasn’t remarkable. As for the sushi, since I don’t eat it, my friend liked crazy California a lot, but thought the crispy California was okay. The service was good and they prepared our food quickly (place only had a couple of customers though), but I didn’t like that the service plates were what looked like plastic covers of disposable containers? I don’t know what they were but I prefer proper cutlery.

We visited last summer and had a good experience in terms of food…but this summer, الوضع متراجع (it was not the same experience). The majority of us did not enjoy most of what we ordered. The things we did enjoy where the dynamite shrimp, veg spring rolls & spicy edamame. Some liked the udon dishes, some didn’t. It was annoying though as we had originally wanted to order the rice noodles with just veg but the guy was like it’s not good, don’t get it. We were served udon noodles with beef and udon noodles with sweet & sour chicken. We had wanted it veggie but again the server had said “it’s not nice”. That is confusing tho as you would expect that everything would be nice?? The Korean hot wings were nice. The Kano salad was mediocre. The sushi was hit and miss. And again the server had mentioned that we don’t order one of the sushi and to get another so we listened to him. I just wish he didn’t give his input and just let us try what we wanted. It almost felt like he wanted us to pay more because we were a big group? I don’t know, I wasn’t impressed with the sushi so we won’t be coming back again. It’s a nice place if you’re craving Asian food…

The place is kind of busy on weekends, a pre-reservation through phone is preferred. When seated, the place is very cozy and sitting on the bar in front of the live cooking station is the best place to sit in. Wait time was okay since the place was full of people, 30 Minutes Approximately. The food quality is superb, Dynamite shrimps is a must when it comes to appetizers, the noodles are so rich and yummy. Rice is very well done too. They serve very good sushi as well. The soup was okay, not the best though. Overall, I'd give KOI 9/10

Nice place, we ordered sushi and it was fresh, clean , and delicious, we also ordered four kinds of noodles, with oysters chicken,Mongolian beef,sichuan shrimp and oysters calamari, and all of it was delicious, very hot , and good portion . We visited the place many times, and we liked it ,, but it’s a little pricey

The menu was featuring a wide variety of dishes to choose from. I started with the Dynamite Shrimps, and they were perfectly crispy and coated with a delectable sauce. The Teriyaki Noodles were a comforting and flavorful choice, with tender chicken soaked in a sweet and savory teriyaki sauce. The Edamame was a delightful and healthy appetizer. The Crab Salad was a refreshing choice, with a generous amount of succulent crab. The Dumplings were a perfect combination of crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. the Crazy California Sushi, while good, may not be the best I've had compared to other places While my dining experience at this restaurant was largely delightful,🚩 it's worth mentioning that the bathroom had an unpleasant smell during my visit. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in all areas, including restrooms, is important for a complete dining experience. I recommend that KOI restaurant staff address this issue to ensure a more pleasant environment for their customers. Simply fantastic.. Original recipes.. genuine ingredients.. authentic flavors.. Asian chefs from Japan & China. The result is incredible dishes.. the taste takes you away out of time & place. Good job, and great experience.. must try. FYI.. I‘m wasn’t a Sushi fan.. yet not after trying KOI out!!

Fresh and yummy asian food, best sushi in Amman so far , the noodles was phenomenal , all the dishes were truly amazing. For improvement, please add extra seating outside, and add more comfortable seating inside. The chefs and the staff were kind .

I didn’t have a good experience with the taste personally. The sushi was not good and didn’t taste fresh we couldn’t finish it.. the crab salad didn’t have crab much and the teriyaki noodles was sweeter than it should. Once you return the food and pay for the bill if a chef cares he’d actually ask what’s wrong but no body bothered or asked what was the experience. The price didn’t match the quality of the food or the presentation.

The food was amazing I had a great experience, we ordered a noodles and sushi and shrimp all of them taste like heaven , the vibe inside the restaurant was incredible ,, definitely recommend 👏🏻🤍

The sushi was soo good, the upon noodles too 🍜 But honestly the crab salad was phenomenal, the best I've had in Amman. Overall this place is 10/10, however if I were to complain about one thing I'd complain about how they don't have party platters because choosing sushi for a party of 6 is kinda difficult (for me atleast).

Food is fine not the best Asian food, Overpriced They have thick and thin noodles, The thick noodles (udon) is very thick that makes you full immediately -Udon chicken teriyaki: was not that good, it did not taste as teriyaki sause, veggies were hard not cooked well, 8.20jd -Udon Mongolian beef: was good, and a bit spicy, 10.50jd -Udon chicken szechuan: very spicy, chicken did not taste good, 8.20jd -kani salad: was fine nothing special, it needs more dressing, 4.65jd

Horrible food and experience. They are under-staffed and the food/fish was not fresh or clean. I don't recommend the following: Krab-salad, udon with magnolian beef, dynamite shrimps, the volcano or rainbow rolls.

We visited Koi on July 24th and placed our order. While some items arrived promptly, the rest specifically the makis didn’t come for over half an hour since our first item arrived. By the time we followed up, we had already finished the rest of our meal. The waiter seemed surprised there was still an outstanding order and called over the person who appeared to be in charge (and who had originally taken our order). When I asked about the delay, his response was, “This kind of delay happens anywhere! we’ll try to bring the makis now.” I told him this is not how people justify such delays, and instead of apologizing, he responded with attitude and even asked if it was my first time visiting a sushi place. I reminded him that in most places, the standard response to a mistake or delay is an apology not rudeness. Be wise upon choosing staff members, they will just ruin the business! And yeah, the makis were done so quickly to avoid more disappointment after they forgot to prepare them and they did not taste good.

The best sushi in Amman was there, and it was a lovely restaurant. I wish it would reopen since it was excellent. After it closed, I had no idea where to get sushi and noodles.

Update : went again two weeks later, not like the first time. Every dish was less tasty. Not bad but not worth it

Its been along time since ive eaten such authentic chinese and Japanese food! The taste is just how i imagined. For SUSHI i ordered koi special it was amazing. And for NOODLES i tried the egg noodles chicken kung pao, more than amazing i really do recommend it.

Such a chill place the guy who works there qais is so nice and kind I really had a good time talking to him the dynamite shrimp is mad good I would order that I came in for a quick snack
