I come here everyday so it's mean I like the food, the staff are very accommodating They give me a special threat and genuinely smile. The food was so good so I give this review to let the guest know that the food was so excellent.

I absolutely love visiting La Gaufrette! Every time I stay at Aloft Dubai Creek. I'm impressed by the fantastic service – the staff are always so welcoming, friendly, and incredibly efficient. And the food? It consistently delivers on taste, freshness, and quality. I've had their Steak on a few occasions and it's always a highlight. It comes out in the skillet with a rich, creamy sauce that's just perfectly grilled steak, crispy fries, and a fresh side salad. The accompanying garlic crostini are also a standout – so crunchy, they really complement the meal. Even for something simpler, their toasts are nicely made and served with butter portions. And if you're looking for a relaxing break at City Center, their Moroccan Tea is beautiful and provides such an authentic touch. Whether it's a full meal or just a tea break, La Gaufrette never disappoints.

This is a good place to have a breakfast or coffee in Deira City Center. Their menu have a large selection which is very good. Being an open space in a mall, it's noisy buts that's ok :) Service is good.

I had pasta carbonara and it was very bad full of olive oil the taste was so bad that I just paid and left without eating what ordered

I had breakfast and lunch here. Great food , great service and nice and comfortable atmosphere thanks to all waitresses for being friendly and kind and helpful.

The food was average and tasted a bit low in quality compared to what I expected for the price. The seating area really needs improvement — the tables looked old and not very clean, which affected the overall experience. The staff also seemed unmotivated and not very attentive. For the prices they charge, I believe the restaurant could offer much better food quality, cleanliness, and service.

Extremely disappointed. Average food with poor quality. We asked to take away and the waitress packed together in the same container the pancake with fries and chicken nuggets. My sandwich and salad came with full pieces of lettuce is like my job to chop it and make a salad. The waitress are….not so helpful to say the least. They definitely need a good customer service training.

on the 22nd feb 2026 ..went to the Deira city centre LA Gaufrette cafe.. Ordered the steak and few hours later got severe severe stomach ache and countless toilet runs . Today 24th stomach ache subsiding and fewer trips to the washroom..clearly it was food poisoning ...

Located in the heart of the busy pathways of Deira City Center, this coffee shop instantly catches the eye with its superb ambiance, drawing in passersby, myself included. However, despite the promising setting, the experience left much to be desired, prompting me to not consider a return visit. I ventured to try the mushroom soup, anticipating a delightful taste, but was met with disappointment. The soup seemed to be a readymade concoction, heavy on starch and light on flavor, with a few mushrooms thrown in as an afterthought. It was a far cry from the quality and taste I expected. Further, the Sizzling Asian Skillet Chicken, despite its appealing name, proved to be an overpriced disappointment. It lacked the distinctiveness and quality one would expect from a dish at its price point. It seems that this place might only serve as a picturesque spot for a cup of coffee amidst the hustle and bustle, with its food offerings falling significantly short of its visual appeal. In conclusion, while the coffee shop stands out for its ambiance, it fails to deliver a satisfying food experience.

La Gaufrette is a charming little café that truly knows how to blend comfort with indulgence. I tried their kunafa, and it was absolutely divine — perfectly crispy on the outside with a gooey, cheesy center that melts in your mouth. Paired it with a rich, aromatic coffee that hit just the right notes, and their refreshing iced tea was the ideal cooler for a warm day. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to unwind or catch up with friends. The staff were warm and attentive, which added to the pleasant experience. Whether you're craving a sweet treat or just a peaceful coffee break, La Gaufrette is definitely worth a visit!

Good food, great company. This is my 4th time eating in La Gaufrette and it is always a wonderful experience. The staffs are very welcoming and friendly. The food is amazing and the place is spacious and clean.

I always try to review places not just as a visitor but as a business consultant too. 1.First thing of my review is the entry... to enter a place you need aomething to attract you ...they have the good decor and nicely dressed uniforms, however there was no indication at the entry for the type of food they serve or if they serve food at all. A menu with stand should be placed at the entrance for people to ciew it and also to know the prices too for tourists or for people with certain budget. 2. No one was welcoming at the gate as all were busy serving tables but that's not an issue since it's ok to choose any available table you wish for and also it's not something to complain about... 3. The major fall down of this place especially that it's my first time, is the menu itself! The menu quality unfortunately looks like a menu of a snack bar of a qiosk on the beach! The place is much more nicer than it's image which is the menu. 4. I have also noticed that they cut cost with printings and supplies like napkins, tissues and sugar were all pronted for the main company which i thought at first that they used the supplies of the old name imagining that they rebranded and had extra supplies to use. When i asked about the branches i came to know that they have other outlets and had a conclusion of the main company. 5. I have ordered the spicy grilled chicken sandwich which they were nice to change the bagguet to slice bread and very much considering. 6. Food was so good and fresh not oily at all i loved it. 7. They don't have water options just evian ofcourse in order to increase prices however in my opinion they should give options to their visitors. 8. Tables at first i thought they were dirty, but it was old coffee stains which they said they bleach after closing which i suggest they should change table finishing (refurbish) 9. Great ambience for work, frienda gathering for snacks bites or coffee and i guess their breakfast would be as good as their other snacks. 10. Prices are not low nor crazy high they are just acceptable. 11. Service was slow no issue with me i was enjoying the day, BUT i have asked for the bill and started writing this review, while typing they came THREE TIMES to ask if i am done with bill while it is 4pm not by any chance their closing hour!!! They insisted and for me they had a bad ending really i would give them 3 stars for this but it won't be fare i dont usally judge the place with staff inatisting followed by trainee mistakes. I had contradicting impressions from my first visit to La Gaufrette. The place was nice and has a special location. Coffee taste was good, but the presentation was very poor. Moreover, the bill holder was dirty, torn and exhausted for years (see the photo). It looked very cheap and reflected bad on my impression on the place. I felt it as an insult to be presented in that case.

We had lovely time in the coffee shop as usual. We really enjoy the services and the quality of food are excellent. I like to specially thanks Lovely along with the other staff for being so kind and caring Thanks again

I have patronised this cafe countless number of time since 2014 until the present. I didnot order many dishes, but mostly coffee, for relaxing and people watching. I would have given 5 stars a few years ago, BUT this time I have to give just 4 because the coffee/latte has changed. They used to serve very good latte and I came all the time for the latte. Even the iced coffee wasnt that good anymore, so flat. Croisant too, not buttery and although handsome looking. But sadly during my last visit, the latte was disappointingly flat. Perhaps there has been changes in menu/management etc. But ambience is good, location is excellent & strategic. Nevertheless I will recommend this place for its coziness and close proximity to mall, shops etc

Cute place but my meal was super BLAND

We ordered the beef steak, and to put it bluntly, it was a culinary disappointment. The bread was downright dreadful, the fries merely passable, and the supposed star of the show, the beef, was utterly lackluster in terms of flavour. However, it's worth noting that the waitstaff was commendable, providing a silver lining to an otherwise underwhelming dining experience. If you find joy in observing passersby, that's about the only redeeming quality of the ambiance – an entirely open setting that mirrors the overall mediocrity of our meal.

Great option for people who care about their health! Everything cooked with olive oil so no seed oils, what a gift! And the staff is very nice too. Camilla is awesome!
