"ABSOLUTELY SHAMELESS & FRAUD! I am a visually impaired person and visited this shop for a simple body repair. My laptop was fully WORKING when I gave it to them. They opened it and then lied that the motherboard is dead to scam me for money. What’s worse is their STAFF'S ATTITUDE. They were extremely rude, arrogant, and kept ignoring me while talking to others. They have zero respect for customers, especially those with disabilities. Instead of helping, they tried to cheat a blind person. DISGUSTING SERVICE. Avoid this place at all costs! Please do yourself a favor and avoid this shop at all costs. I am a visually impaired person, and they tried to scam me by claiming my motherboard was dead when I only came for a body repair. Their staff is extremely rude and tried to take advantage of my disability. If you want genuine work, just walk a little further to Sheetla House and visit Shree Laptop Solutions. I went there right after escaping this place, and the difference was night and day. They were so honest that they fixed my issue for FREE and told me the truth em dash it was just a loose charger point, not a dead motherboard. Don't get looted here at Lappy Maker. They told me that they the display was gone, fine, no big deal. After that, they said that some lower wire also had to be replaced and asked for an extra 7,000 rupees. Basically, they scammed me by saying that the bezel could get damaged anytime and they didn’t even give me any warranty for the display. I said fine, just give me a good display and don’t bother with that wire. They put in the display, but once the laptop was turned on, light was leaking out from all the bezels because they didn’t apply glue properly or anything. They didn't even clean the camera lens properly, so dust is visible inside. There’s some kind of big spot on the lower side like water damage or something. Basically, there was no problem before, I gave them a perfectly good MacBook, and they ruined it in the name of replacing the display. The screen looks terrible now. So tell me, who should I go to now? I'm going to file a complaint against them if they don't respond soon.

Honest review  (display replacement MacBook AIR M1)🧐🧐 On December 12 i visited to the lappy makers for 🖥️ display replacement . I got display replacement in about ⏰ 4 hrs. That time all was ok. On next day there was a meeting 🤝 with my  colleges and i noticed that the camera 📸 quality is poor 📈 as compared to real one . To confirm🔎 it ,I compare original apple 🖥️ display photos 📸 with the new one. In the 🌃 night there is dark , I notice that the white light came outside from the cornors , the pasting of display is not proper. After it I message to lappy makers they said please come here we will check ✅ it. I went there , I tell all the issues, about the 📸 camera, one male employee came and said SIR, we can't fix this problem  kyu bhai outer mirror display nikal kr camera hi to clean Krna hh.there are dust particles on the camera which was not cleaned during the replacement. But they didn't it. Now move to display pasting, they paste the screen with glue in few seconds like temporary solution and said ab white light nhi aayegi. At present white light came from the sides. It was very nice experience in lappy maker store. I have issue in my camera of lenovo laptop. They opened and cleaned it and m ake it working without any charges. Really impressed by the behaviour of staff.

Lappy maker mere macbook ko diagnosis karne se bhi mukar gaya kyuki maine bola ki mai makcity se hoke aa raha hu aur wo overchage kar rahe hain i.e 28 thousand rupees. To inhone kaha ki haa- usi range me lagega sir. Aur, ye board aap dusre jagah diagnosis karwa liye hain, isiliye isko ham nahi dekhenge kyuki koi faida nahi hoga ab. 2. Kon sa faida? Let me explain you guys! Kyuki maine 28K ko overcharge bola, to inka bhi same range tha. Customer pahle hi mukar chuka hai ye price point par. To fir ye log diagnosis wala mehnat aur drama kyu krenge free me. Dusra ye ki, sorting wala halka fulka problem hai nahi isme, to inko banane bhi ayega nahi, aur faltu me lappy maker badnam ho jaega. I had a very disappointing experience with Lappymaker. I submitted my MacBook Pro for diagnosis after a liquid exposure issue, expecting a reasonably quick and accurate assessment. However, it took them almost 10 days just to conclude that it was a logic board issue, which raises serious concerns about their diagnostic efficiency. For a case involving liquid damage, this should have been identified much earlier. Even after their initial repair attempt on the power controller, the device briefly powered on and then failed again. This clearly indicated that the issue was deeper, yet the diagnosis process still felt uncertain and prolonged rather than precise and conclusive. Throughout this period, communication was limited and required constant follow-up from my side. The delay in arriving at a clear diagnosis impacted my work significantly, and I ended up losing business opportunities due to the downtime. After those 10 days, I was informed that a “donor logic board” would be required, and sourcing it would take an additional 15–20 days, extending the total turnaround time to nearly a month. This was not communicated upfront. Finally, I was quoted approximately ₹50,000 for the replacement, which is a substantial amount considering: • The part is not brand new • The warranty is limited • The overall diagnosis process lacked clarity and confidence While they may have experience in handling repairs, my experience suggests that their diagnosis process is slow and not as precise as expected, especially for something as critical as logic board issues. I would strongly recommend others to: • Confirm diagnosis timelines beforehand • Seek a second opinion in parallel • Carefully evaluate whether repair is worth the time and uncertainty In my case, the delays, unclear diagnosis, and extended timelines made the entire experience frustrating and unreliable. Another Aspect that I want to mention here is that when I took it to the UNICORN service centre they quoted 65 & there will be no issue with the serial number mismatch which is the main concern with lappymaker.. they are just looting people by installing the Donor Logic board... pls avoid them
