I must say, the staff is exceptional. When one of our family members had to rush to the emergency room, they were incredibly supportive they even provided their own car and helped arrange the medicines. Of course, everything else was just as wonderful. The restaurant food was delicious, the pool was great, and the overall hotel experience was amazing. The location is also perfect, close to almost all the famous spots. Truly a fantastic stay!

Rooms are spacious and generally clean, though a few maintenance details could be improved. Food quality is good, especially Indian dishes, but the menu is limited for a true 5-star experience. Staff are courteous and helpful, creating a warm atmosphere. Overall, a comfortable and value-for-money stay with charm, though not ultra-luxury.

Lavitra Place is one of the best heritage style hotels we have visited in Udaipur. The luxury rooms were comfortable and the pool area was clean. The rooftop restaurant with lake view made the stay even more memorable

Most Amazing experience as a weeding host. Excellent service by staff members. All staff was very humble.Managment by Brijraj ji was commendable. Even food was very satisfying.... Chef did amazing job by preparing vairaty of dishes with same quality and standard. Even customisation as taken care of very well

The hotel is a European 2 stars. They room are old but nice. We had a problem with our first room due to heavy moisture and the bathroom wc was not flushing at all. They upgraded us but yet not much improvement. The breakfast here is a bit of a challenge for those who do not eat Indian food in the morning. You can ask for omelette but yet it is spicy. People do not speak good English so it is difficult to get along well. Overall it is not bad but definitely not the best.

Usually I never review anything but this needs my attention.Very small rooms. Bad service. Lights not working in the room and when called for help, nobody comes. Pillows were in pathetic condition. No water was given at the time of arrival also. We have to carry our luggage all by ourselves at the time of arrival and departure both. The people in the property are least interested and there is no lake view at all. The bathroom is super basic. The property is a 2 star property and doesn’t qualify the rates. The hotel is just near a few food stalls that’s it. I had a lot of expectations from this hotel but it is no where near to heritage property. We were out for some shopping and when we came back at 10, the gates were locked and there was no one near the gate. We had to stand 15 minutes in sheer cold outside. After that also, we had to call them to open the gate. Go for better options near gangaur ghat that are more affordable and have a good view.

Delicious food , good environment ,I strongly recommend Lavitra Place because the hotel offers a peaceful environment comfortable rooms and excellent service. The rooftop restaurant provides a relaxing lake view and the staff members are very friendly cooperative and supportive

Lavitra exceeded all my expectations! The service was impeccable and the vibe was perfect. Mr. Brijesh is a fantastic host who truly cares about his guests' experience. It’s rare to find an owner so hands-on and welcoming. I will definitely be returning!

Overall, the hotel is a good option for a budget-friendly stay. The rooms are clean, the food is decent, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is very convenient — within walking distance from Fateh Sagar Lake. Another benefit is that the property is away from the highly congested areas, yet shops and basic requirements are easily accessible nearby, which makes the stay comfortable. Having said that, there were a few aspects where we felt the property could improve to enhance the guest experience. The building has a nice look with a slightly royal touch, but some elements did not fully match current market standards. For example, the doors and manual locking system felt a bit outdated. In the bathroom, only basic kits (soap and dental kit) were provided, whereas many hotels now offer slightly more complete toiletry sets. The bed was comfortable, but the rest of the room furniture was quite compact — even the coffee table was too small for two people to use comfortably. We stayed for two days and tried various dishes, including both veg and non-veg. The food was overall good and well prepared; however, the non-veg lacked a bit of authentic flavour — for example, the fish tikka was tender and nicely cooked, but the fish flavour wasn’t strong, which gave an impression that frozen fish might have been used. Veg dishes were absolutely fine. Breakfast items were okay; however, very few options and the taste is something that does not give a typical “hotel breakfast” feel. One thing that we really appreciated was the access to the rooftop. It’s a great advantage for people who enjoy sitting, relaxing, and hanging out. Guests are allowed to enjoy their own liquor there, and there are no extra charges for using the rooftop area or the accessories provided. Even the fire pit is available at no additional cost, which is a rare and highly appreciated gesture — especially since many hotels in north Indian tourist areas like Mussoorie and Himachal usually charge extra for this. Overall, it’s a nice place to stay if you are looking for a budget stay with a comfortable environment and minimal restrictions. With a little improvement in food quality and room furnishing standards, the experience could become even better.

My experience at Lavitra Hotel, Udaipur was extremely disappointing and frustrating. The hotel is completely misleading guests with attractive photos on its website that do not match reality at all. In person, the property looks worn out, dull, and poorly maintained. The washroom condition was especially unacceptable — it was not properly cleaned, poorly maintained, and unhygienic, which made the stay very uncomfortable. Basic standards of cleanliness and upkeep were clearly ignored. Booking this hotel based on the online photos was a big mistake, and I felt misled as a guest. I would strongly caution others to think twice before choosing this place don't get misleaded by the photos of website. Utter waste of money

It was not that good. My Uncle's room was very dirty. There was hair in blanket. Which is very disgusting. As per the view from outside. It is not very good. So my experience was good but not best. My uncle's experience was very very very much bad.

I m traveller but i never visited this worst hotel ever . Their kitchen is so unhygienic. Room full of smell and towels was dirty. When i checkin in the room i found many used cigarettes on the bathroom floor and smell so bad .

The hotel is beautiful and so are the rooms, though our toilets had problems flushing. The only western style food at breakfast is white toast with butter and jam which is a bit dissapointing The staff were nice and helpful, and it is located close to the city

This is very old and well maintained property in Udaipur. Location is so good. Fateh Sagar lake is just 500m away and Lake Pichola is 1.5 km Rooms are very spacious. Food is also good. Highly recommend.
