Very Bad Experience – Extremely Poor Food Quality The food was absolutely terrible. The chicken we ordered was not cooked properly at all. It was raw from the inside and even had blood in it. We had ordered Chicken Tandouri, but it was completely undercooked. When I asked the staff why the food was so raw, they gave a very irresponsible answer, saying, “It can’t be cooked more than this.” We are not eating for free — we are paying money for proper food. Zaitoon’s management seems overconfident because they have high demand, but their quality has become very poor. I do not recommend this place at all. Don’t waste your money by eating there.

This is a very big liar and a fraudulent hotel. Two days ago I bought some iftar items, and trusting them I paid whatever amount they asked. When I came home and checked, they hadn’t even given half the items worth the money they took. And every iftar item was extremely filthy and of terrible quality. You people are consuming the money of a fasting person by lying in the month of Ramadan — how do you even digest it? Astaghfirullah.” 👎

Worst quality food. Paav Bhaji and chat served in low quality and cold. Service was very baad. Do not opt if any option available.

Very disappointing experience. The food taste was just average, but the prices were extremely high. Honestly, the same food is available in many other restaurants for almost half the price and with better taste. We ordered chicken items, but for the amount we paid here we could have easily eaten good mutton dishes in other restaurants. The pricing is completely unreasonable for the quality they offer. Another shocking thing is that when you order rice or ghee rice in most restaurants, they at least give one or two complimentary curries. But here nothing is complimentary. Every small item has extra charges, which makes the bill unnecessarily expensive. It really feels like this place is more focused on hitting customers’ pockets rather than giving good food and value. I strongly suggest the owner reconsider the price list, otherwise many people will stop coming here. Very poor value for money.

DON'T waste money. Overly priced. Pathetic roti/chapati. I've ordered fish masala and prawn masala. Prawns were ok but the fish was tasteless. They charged you 1 sar for roti/chapati(plane). Only 3 mouth full provide by roti(very small size).

Very disappointing experience with Zaitoon. The food quality and service did not meet expectations at all. The overall experience was unsatisfactory, and it did not feel worth the price. Definitely needs improvement in both taste and customer service.

I overall liked the restaurant. We selected chicken manchow soup. It was spicy but it was really tasty. We had chicken lollipop as the starter which was really delicious and crispy. We had garlic naan and butter naan with butter chicken which was also good. Then we had 1 chicken haka noodles which we did not like much because of the different oil used. Then we ordered kaddu ki kheer, which was the best we had on that day. We ordered 2 more but it was finished unfortunately. We bought some gulab jamun and to our surprise it came hot. Usually people serve it cold. It was really delicious. The seating arrangements can be improved. Location and parking are good. Staff behaviour also very good

The biryani at Zaitoon is no less delicious than Rumaan’s — rich in authentic Hyderabadi flavors, perfectly cooked, and bursting with aroma. Each dish reflects true Hyderabadi taste and quality. The staff — especially Khader, Arshad, and Mansoor bhai — are exceptionally friendly, polite, and dedicated, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and satisfied. The pricing for the main dishes is very reasonable, offering great value for money. Highly recommended for anyone craving genuine Hyderabadi cuisine! Suggestion for improvement: The evening snacks section could be reviewed, as some items feel a bit overpriced compared to the portion size and quality. Adding more variety or combo options could make it even more appealing.

Wow, we had a wonderful experience here. We ordered Chicken Tikka (5 stars) Chicken biryani (5 stars) Mutton biryani (2 stars) Mutton black peeper Handi (4 star) Raita (5 stars) Salad (5 stars) I am removing 1 start only for less taste in mutton biryani and mutton handi. For service concern Mr. Belal was a brilliant guy and now how to deal with customers. He has been working here for the past 4 years. Good luck

Extremely disappointed with my experience at Zaitoon. The service was some of the worst I’ve ever encountered; the waiter acted like serving us was a massive inconvenience and was very disrespectful when we asked questions. The food didn't save the night either. The quality was subpar and didn't taste fresh at all. It’s clear there is no management oversight here because the entire staff seemed unprofessional and disinterested. I will not be returning

One of my favorite authentic hyderabadi restaurants in Jubail Balad. Right opposite Dawah masjid. Masha Allah the food is soo flavorful and delicious and they have a great breakfast menu as well serving idly, dosa and vada. The best thing is that they have a nice large family section to accommodate everyone and also a party hall. But the air conditioning has to be increased as summer is creeping in.

Lazzat zaitoon BIRYANI js very delicious on reasonable price. I came from Riyadh to Jubail to spend Eid Al Fitr Vacation. The Restaurant was opened in Eid holiday and staff is also very polite and cooperative.

Very bad experience had a breakfast over there and taste should be rectify No taste in all tiffin items and owner is taking only cash no card payments but card is accepted to knowing person of their back country. Should be improve Not satisfied. Thank you

Renovated area and separate sections for snacks good spot. Except Haleem everything is Tasty. Chicken biryani was perfectly @hyderabadi

ثاني مره اطلب و حددت بالتطبيق ابي عادي مو حار و جاني حار ماقدرنا ناكل معي اطفال كيف بيتحملون الفلفل كله ذا و المطاعم الثانيه لما نقول لهم عادي بدون فلفل يجي و ياكلون و مستمتعين الطعم والله لذيذ و حرام الفلفل كله ذا خرب على النكه الحلو ان اقدر اخذ فردي و اشكل من كل نوع و رز البرياني حقهم لذيذ اخذه ساده بس دايم يخلص بسرعه يعني تجي الساعه ١ الظهر يكون خلص

First of All” ITS NOT HYDRABADI RESTAURENT” as all the staff and cook are not from Hydrabad. Hence the cosine is look alike of HYDRABADI with additional price. If you are Hydrabadi biryani fan, than its not your choice, but biryani is not bad except the price with contemporary Hydrabadi Restaurent. 4 people 4 dish will cost 125 SAR. Its one among the rarest Restaurent in Saudi Arabia where roti is not free with the dish. You need to go for extra nan or butter nan. Neatness is average 2.5 refer to one of photo uploaded. Average cost per dish is 22 SAR , quantity is less than average. Waiting time is undesirable or poor service I decided not to revisit this hotel after first time , but i went again due to vegetarian requirements of my friend that time he gave double ka mita as paste “ Bucho ki Pitti”. This us my third consecutive disappointment. Biryani was smelling like haldi. Attached is chicken 65 biryani its just rice on chicken 65 if this the case I would have ordered it separately. Zaitoon Restnt should understand that we are here for hydrabadi taste , just provide authentic Hyd taste I am sure you will rock, we need to stand in queue. All the best.

Feb 2025 2 visits for lunch in 4 days Seriously 16 sr for a thali which is homely & tastes good, compare urself with others in the mkt for prices. 1 roti extra 1 sr, 1 extra curry 2 sr - LLIMTED THALI, is what u should mention in menu. No tissue near the washbasin ever 14.3.2022 Thali is good but expensive compared to the variety given n quantity They will cry to give u any extra sambar or rasam or curry. 2021 Good biryani n had / broke iftaar there. Yet to taste the normal al a carte order menu.

Visited the restaurant with family for Dinner. 1. A lot of gents were sitting at the family entrance door, which is not acceptable. 2. I ordered Chicken majestic, Noodles and Biryani. Chicken Majestic was perfect. Noodles was OK. Biryani was not good in taste and You should not write in the menu as Hyderabad Biryani, as it has a separate taste. Hyderabadi biryani has a totally different taste. 3. Price was OK. 4. Family partitions were good enough for privacy. 5. Parking is PAID but if you visit during lunch time(12 noon to 3 PM) or for Dinner(after 10PM) and on Friday you may avail free parking.
