Limeshine - Airport Transit Hotel

Upon arrival staff were very welcoming and attentive, brought us a drink and some cold towels to cool down after travelling. For an airport transfer the location is good as it’s around 15 minutes away from the airport, outside of that the location was okay, some nearby shops and restaurants. The room we had was lovely and clean, air conditioning was a life saver. The staff are the exceptional part, very helpful and pleasant. We also paid for breakfast, this was a good choice as it was convenient for us. Overall we would say the price is fair for what you get but probably could find cheaper places if needed.

If you’re looking for a stay between Colombo and Negombo, this place is honestly one of the best options. It’s located very close to the airport, and it takes hardly around 15 minutes to reach from here. The rooms were really clean, the stay felt comfortable, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming throughout. If you want a peaceful and convenient place to stay before or after your flight, this place is highly recommended.

Brilliant stay! We were warmly welcomed by the owner, who speaks fluent German, which made communication very pleasant. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. I would highly recommend Limeshine for your travels. It’s very close to the airport (only a 5-minute tuk-tuk ride) and conveniently located near tuk-tuk rentals.

We stayed here for one night near the airport and it was exactly what we needed. Great value for money, with clean and comfortable rooms and very friendly service. The free airport transfer was seamless and made things really easy after a long flight. Breakfast was also a pleasant surprise with a good selection and nice quality. Overall, a very convenient and stress free stay before or after a flight.

Wir sind mit dem TukTuk angereist und wurden direkt vom freundlichen Personal empfangen. Das hat sich um alles gekümmert, Gepäck, Flughafentaxi und Check-in, während wir einen welcome Drink genießen durften. Das Hotel ist sehr neu, schöne geräumige Zimmer. Die Lage ist für Sri Lanka natürlich nicht am Strand sondern an einer Verkehrsstraße, als Airport Transit Hotel perfekt, da nur wenige Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt. Die Dusche fand ich super, vor allem wegen des Duschkopfs. Endlich mal genügend Druck auf der Wasserleitung.

We stayed at Limeshine Hotel for one night, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is very nice, the room was very clean, and everything was well maintained. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We really liked this hotel and would recommend it to others.

I had a great stay at the Limeshine Hotel. The rooms are well appointed, very clean, and comfortably set up. AC was much needed and worked perfectly! It’s in a great spot and easy to get to, with the hotel offering smooth and convenient transfers. The staff were polite, courteous, and genuinely great to deal with. Overall, it’s a great spot — and even better when you consider the price! Excellent value and highly recommended - would definitely revisit.

We chose to stay here because our flight arrived late and we didn’t want to travel all the way to Galle that night. It was a convenient option close to the airport. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our short stay. The room was decent, equipped with a large ceiling fan and air conditioning. We didn’t use any of the facilities or stay longer than one night. I accidentally left a small bag behind, but after contacting the hotel, they located it for me. I was able to collect it a few days later on our way from Galle to Negombo, which I really appreciated. The hotel is well located, about a 5 km drive from the main international airport in Colombo, making it ideal for a short stopover. The only minor downside was that the shower wasn’t hot. My partner had a cold shower first, and even after waiting an hour, mine was still cold. It wasn’t a major issue given the hot weather, but worth noting. Overall, the hotel was satisfactory and offered reasonable value for money.

We stayed for several days and had a really pleasant experience overall. The service was consistently nice, with fresh food, clean and comfortable rooms, and warm, friendly staff interactions. The hotel itself is very convenient and easily accessible, which made our stay even better. We would especially like to highlight the manager, Anjali, who was incredibly helpful from our arrival until departure and assisted us with every request we had. When we encountered issues with our flights and transfers, she guided us through the next steps, she made it easier. She even bought us medicine for my kid who was sick. Kudos to Anjali and the entire team for such a lovely stay! We will surely comeback.

This hotel is an excellent choice for travelers in transit. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere is calm and pleasant. The staff are professional and welcoming. with special appreciation to the hotel manager, Anjali, for her outstanding service. I highly recommend this hotel and would be pleased to stay here again in the future.

This is a really nice and well kept hotel in this area. The staff always smile, go out of their way to accommodate every request. I liked to so much that, I wanted to stay for 2 more nights before I fly home. They were fully booked. The owner was so kind to make a room available for me, as I paid on spot in advance, it was a fair deal, and a very kind gesture. This hotel is off the main road but very easy to find. It is directly opposite to a super market and discount center. Many restaurants are located not far away. Maybe a 10 minutes walk, to enjoy a meal near the lagoon, to enjoy the beautiful sunset. I can recommend this place with confidence from first hand experience.

Great hotel for a one night’s transit. We made sure to book the bit more expensive room, as it is located in the hotel wing, not the residence. The hotel wing is the better building. We didn’t have any issues with noise, the beds were comfortable. Elevator access is great for those travelling with luggage. There is a supermarket just across the big road. We were able to use all of our leftover cash and pay the rest of the room fee using card, which was perfect. It took a bit longer to get an uber in the morning, but in the worst case the hotel offers an airport transfer (though 10x the uber comfort price).

Such a good experience at Limeshine. The rooms are clean, the hotel itself is beautiful, and the service is amazing. Thathsara’s service was fantastic. It’s also a really easy journey from the airport. We’ll stay here again when we next fly in or out of Columbo for sure

Wat een fijn hotel om na een vermoeiende vlucht te verblijven. Aardige, behulpzame personeelsleden. Super betrokken manager. Zij doet al het mogelijke om het je naar de zin te maken. Ze had een prima chauffeur geregeld om ons af te halen van het vliegveld. Kortom, goede reden om hier te verblijven. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is goed. Goede uitvalsbasis voor de rest van je reis in of uit Sri Lanka.

I had an outstanding time at this hotel. The staff were all really helpful and frinedly. They made sure whatever was needed, would be provided. The location was very nice as it was nearby the airport, so we had easy access as well from the hotel. It was an overall great experience here. My regards to all the staff there, specially the Manager- Anjali- she was truly remarkable with her services, and did her very best to make sure we had a pleasant stay, which we surely had!

Limeshine 距離班達拉奈克國際機場僅約3公里，車程約15分鐘，是轉機或短暫停留旅客的理想選擇。 雖然已是凌晨一點，酒店員工仍然熱情友善，很快便給粗眉仔安排好房間，非常貼心。 房間是在接待處對面的另一間大屋內，名為「Limeshine Residence」。大屋內有客飯廳，似乎曾經是從前某個富有人家的住宅。 房間佈置古老但乾淨整潔，入房時有陣舊木傢俬的氣味，但一開空調後便消失了。 房間內有LED電視、衣櫃和書桌，免費Wi-Fi接收良好，速度甚高。 每間房均奉送一樽飲用水，並有免費即沖咖啡和茶包。 浴室乾淨整潔，提供洗頭水和沐浴露，熱水供應充足。 房間雖然不算很豪華，但床舖舒適，環境亦十分衛生，以如此低廉的房價來說，絕對是物有所值。

The service here was exceptionally good! Thank you Anjali and team for being so accommodating with our late check-in and support with the luggage. The breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit and the room had everything we needed.

I needed an emergency hotel room at 3am as my flight got delayed til the next morning. This hotel have 24 hour reception and quickly confirmed they had a room available. I was able to check in and use the room for a sleep straightaway. The bed was comfortable and the aircon was good. The bathroom was clean and overall the hotel room was functional, no frills and did the job.

لقد كانت إقامتنا رائعة الحمد لله الفندق عبارة عن عمارة من 5-6 طوابق وكذلك مبنى مقابل كأنه منزل في السابق تم استغلاله بطريقة جميلة لفندق اخذنا غرفة في العمارة وكانت نظيفة ومرتبة ومريحة تحتوي على سرير كينج، ودولاب للملابس، وطاولة، وتلفاز مسطح، وغلاية ماء وشاي، وتراس يطل على شارع والاشجار الضخمة والبحر بشكل جزئي كما في الصورة، وحمام نظيف متوفر فيه وشامبو وشاور جل وصابون لليد، والماء ساخن متوفر بشكل ممتاز ، باب الحمام سحب واظن انه يحتاج تثبيت من الأسفل اخافني قليلا اشعر وكأنه سوف يقع 😅 حجزنا يشمل وجبة إفطار يبدأ من 7:30 إلى 10:30 يقدمون لك الماء، وقهوة أو شاي، ثم يقدمون طبق فاكهة، ثم البيض معد بطريقة لذيذة 😋 والتوست والزبدة والمربى الموظفين ودودين جدا ويقدمون لك كل ماتطلب بصدر رحب وابتسامة اخص بالشكر الموظفة الجميلة آنجلي والصديق الودود الذي في الصورة أنتما في غاية اللطف والخدمة كانت على اكمل وجه 💕💕

Highly recommended for an overnight stay just 10 min from airport. Clean rooms and washrooms with most amenities, responsive and friendly staff. Offered welcome drink and cold towel which felt relieving after a long travel. Didn't try the food as the hotel has many good restaurants nearby.
