Lokalist, Istanbul, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

We had a fantastic stay at Lokalist! First of all, special thanks to Manager Batuhan, who gave us a very detailed and helpful introduction to the hotel and the area. Thanks to my Titanium status, I was upgraded to a suite with a breathtaking Bosphorus view, and it was absolutely stunning. The location is extremely convenient, 2 min walk to Taksim Square. The smart rooms are modern and very comfortable. The glass inside the bathroom is super clean.

Very warm and friendly welcome at the reception. We were upgraded thanks to my husband’s Marriott Platinum status. The non-alcoholic minibar and complimentary in-room treats were a nice and much appreciated welcoming touch. The room was a bit small but very functional, with a lovely view and even a glimpse of the Bosphorus in the distance. The hotel is recent and the room was comfortable. The hotel is very well located, just a 5-minute walk from the metro and Taksim Square. The only downside was that we were never informed about the demolition works taking place in the building right next to the hotel. That said, it did not bother us too much as we were out during the day, although the noise echoed and caused noticeable vibrations. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

Excellent Staff. The staff at the front desk Serdem, Hasret and Ayhan were extremely polite and helpful. The dining room staff Berat Ertan Murat Duygu Hacer Gulsum too were amazing too. The warmth and friendliness of the staff really stood out. I would definitely recommend your hotel to family and friends because of your incredible team.

Had a wonderful stay! The staff were very kind and truly went above and beyond to make everything comfortable. Emir, Furkan, Serdem, Berat, and everyone else I met were warm, welcoming, and very helpful. The breakfast was also excellent. The location is fantastic. It is close to Taksim Square, and I loved being able to walk easily to Istiklal Street and Galata Tower. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

Séjour absolument parfait à Istanbul ! L’hôtel est magnifique, très propre et idéalement situé. La chambre était confortable et tout était impeccable. Le personnel est exceptionnel : accueillant, souriant et toujours prêt à aider, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. Un immense merci tout particulier à Gül, la femme de ménage, qui a été adorable, professionnelle et toujours souriante, ainsi qu’à Murat au service restauration, au petit déjeuner, qui a été tout simplement génial, attentionné et très chaleureux. J’ai passé un excellent moment et je garderai un très beau souvenir de cet hôtel. Je recommande à 100 % et je reviendrai sans hésiter !

Hotel eccellente per viaggiatori e coppie che cercano un'esperienza di design autentica in una posizione strategica, a pochi minuti da piazza Taksim e Istiklal Avenue. Hotel offre un servizio curato. Le camere sono moderne e ben attrezzate con letti comodi, smart TV e macchina Nespresso. La colazione di qualità a base di ingredienti locali e biologici.

Great location and exceptional staff We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in Taksim, just a few minutes’ walk from Istiklal Street, which made getting around the city very easy. We booked two rooms. One was on the ground floor and wheelchair accessible, for my mother and her caregiver. The room size was acceptable and functional, though a bit more space would have made movement even easier. Our second room was for three people, with a double bed and an extra bed provided by the hotel. It was comfortable for two and slightly tight for three, but still clean and well arranged. The staff were absolutely outstanding — extremely kind, polite, and genuinely helpful. They supported us in every possible way and showed great flexibility and cooperation throughout our stay. We are truly thankful for their hospitality. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for its excellent location, comfort, and especially the amazing staff.

We had a lovely night at localist hotel.Right in the heart of the city, in such a central location, our room boasted a magnificent view of Istanbul and everything had been thought of. The meals were delicious and the staff were very friendly. The cleanliness was excellent. I would especially like to express my gratitude for this wonderful experience we had.

On y est resté 5 jours, et on l’a quitté en étant satisfaites! Le petit-déjeuner est copieux, notre chambre et la literie était confortable, produits de soin de qualité (byredo) et on avait une vue magnifique sur le bosphore 🥹 L’hôtel est très bien situé, à quelques pas de Istiklal Caddesi, et Place Taksim. Personnel sympathique. Belle expérience, je reviendrai!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Istanbul. The room was absolutely beautiful, with a perfect view that made every moment unforgettable. The location was perfect — close to everything we wanted to see. Most importantly, the entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. A special thanks to Mr. Batuhan, the Guest Experience Manager, who went above and beyond to make our trip truly perfect. His attention to detail and warmth made our stay exceptional. Spent one night at this place, right beside the Taksim Square. I took metro line 11 and line 2, with no luggage, it’s easy. Room is clean and comfortable and all the staff are nice and helpful. Restaurant in B1 is great for a dinner, a little bit pricey but it’s a good choice to stay in the hotel in a cold rainy day. Plus, Turkish wine is worth tasting.

Amazing experience at Lokalist. The attentiveness is from everybody from the doorman to the manager. Cleanliness and hygiene is tops. Breakfast is amazing. The team caters to your needs to the best of their abilities. Emir resolved a serious issue I had when my phone broke. Looked for a technical shop that’s open at 9pm and had the handset couriered to them at the asian side and back - all in 2 hrs WOW location is very convenient. A couple of blocks from taksim square yet still steps away from the hustle and bustle

A nice hotel very conveniently located next to a metro and multiple bus stops. It’s also within walking distance to Kabatas boat station. The staff is kind and attentive and rooms are clean and comfortable. I highly recommend it for those who want to explore Istanbul.

Гостиница в целом понравилась, как и во всем, есть свои плюсы и минусы. Расположение - возле площади Таксим, непосредственно до площади и улицы Истикляль минут 5-7 ходьбы. Меня пугало то, что идти от площади к гостинице нужно через парк, и где-то в отзывах было написано, что вечером идти не очень комфортно, так как на скамейках спят бездомные. Действительно, спят, но парк оказался по факту небольшим сквером, и можно через него не проходить, а идти по другой стороне дороги. В общем, это опасение не оправдалось. С точки зрения доступности транспорта расположение удобное - на площади Таксим станция метро и фуникулера. Также от гостиницы минут 13 ходьбы вниз в сторону моря до конечной трамвайного маршрута Т1 и пристани Кабаташ,туда же можно спуститься на фуникулере с площади Таксим. Гостиница не очень большая, всё очень компактно. В том числе и номера. Площадь номера маленькая. Уборная находится за стеклянной перегородкой, умывальник - в самом номере, это немного смущает, особенно уборная, но потом как-то адаптируешься. Зато красивый современный интерьер и оснащенность номера на высшем уровне! Система умный дом - всё на электронном управлении с пульта или выключателями, множество всевозможных разъемов для зарядки устройств. Есть сейф, гладильная доска с утюгом, холодильник, чайник и кофемашина и даже набор для чайной церемонии. Регулярно пополняют питьевую воду. Порадовало, что открываются окна, и можно посидеть как будто на балкончике. Завтраки в целом неплохие. Шведский стол: овощи, большое разнообразие сыров, мясные закуски, также представлены горячие закуски, немного фруктов, ассортимент блюд из яиц на заказ. Даже есть безглютеновый хлеб. По-моему, не было каш, но могу ошибаться. Кофе не очень вкусный. В ресторане гостиницы можно было и поужинать, но цены высоковатые даже для центра Стамбула. Персонал отзывчивый, язык общения - английский. Среди гостей отеля большинство европейцев почтенного возраста и жители Поднебесной, руссоязычных за время пребывания не встречала. В целом пребывание было комфортным.

Nice hotel and clean room. Rich local breakfast. Very good view of Square Taksim. We left our passport and the hotel told us on time so that we could catch the plane.

The hotel is so nice and it’s location is perfect, Emir from front desk is humble man and he celebrated our anniversary with a very nice complementary gift and cake, Berat from F&B also so nice man. Room is clean and tidy. I would recommend to the hotel they make our experience in Turkey Exceptional ❤️❤️❤️❤️

我去过别的国家的lokalist这间宾馆整体的印象非常好。 餐厅的早餐也比其他的多。 前台员工显然重视每位客人，主动搭话，并不是装作看不见。 每间房间有一些欢迎饮料和饮用水，非常贴心。 只要住在朝后的房间也不会吵闹。 唯独就是个别物品有些损坏，比如螺丝扣丢失，或有些松动的把手。 其他的lokalist没有这个问题。 所以有点点奇怪。 但是我是满意的会回去的

Otelde konaklarken resepsiyondan taksi çağırdım ve sorun yaşadım. Sonradan bu sistemin şeffaf olmadığını fark ettim. Kendi deneyimime dayanarak, otelden taksi istemek yerine Uber veya BiTaksi kullanmanızı öneririm.

great hotel overall rooms are clean and has advanced technology, mini bar is complimentary and we were served sweets and drinks for our honeymoon stay however the construction noises woke us up every morning at 8am the room was literally shaking. but would definitely come back to this hotel again thanks to all the nice staff 🙏🏻

Маленький компактный отель. Хорошее расположение. В номере кофе Nespresso, изюм и приятное постельное белье. Я бы оценила на 4 звезды, завтрак неплохой но маленький выбор.
