I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The location 150 meters from the edge of the sea along the Golden Horn makes it delightful, and hotel staff were always friendly and helpful. The owner/concierge however is simply outstanding. He is kind-hearted and very helpful! Since he is extremely knowledgeable about Istanbul, his advice is simply priceless. His kindness and good sense of humor were undoubtedly the best thing about the hotel. All of the sweet kitty-cats that he has rescued are pretty nice too! Unless you are severely allergic to cats, I really recommend this as your first choice for a place to stay in the Fatih district.

A lovely hotel that makes you feel right at home. Don't be discouraged by the outside of the building. The room had everything I needed and was sparkling clean. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic - fresh salad, olives, cheese, bread, and fruit. The family who runs the hotel are very kind and helpful.

the best place to stay if you’re looking to have a comfortable time with extremely friendly people. Sir Buran is so kind and so helpful, so is his wife and the cleaning lady. My experience was truly amazing and as an international student, I wish I could rent a room in Lotus Hotel instead of dorms. They have such friendly cats and dogs. I also brought my cat and he was very calm and relaxed. I highly recommend you to stay at Lotus if you want to stay in a quiet, peaceful and communal environment.

¡Maravilloso! Antes de llegar el personal del hotel nos había enviado indicaciones para transportarnos en metro. En todo momento fueron muy amables y serviciales siempre dispuestos a ayudar. Incluso se ofrecieron a darnos algo de cambio de dinero ya que al principio nuestras tarjetas parecían no funcionar (finalmente no fue necesario). Tienen dos perritos muy cariñosos y especiales y un montón de gatitos que siempre te vienen a recibir. Nos dieron a elegir entre dos habitaciones, todo estaba muy limpio y tenías lo necesario para disfrutar de una gran estancia. En el desayuno te realizan al momento unas tortillas, huevos fritos o guisados. En la salida nos ayudaron mucho contactando con nuestro transfer. A un minuto del hotel hay un pequeño local de comida que recomiendo al 100% se llama Yildiz Izgara, dan unos sabores buenísimos y a unos precios muy muy económicos.

I loved Lotus Hotel in Istanbul so much! It's a bit out of the way which I liked. It was in a quiet area, yet still close enough to the Old Town. Depending on where you want to go, it might take about an hour to walk (I did walk a couple of times). Or you can catch the tram, or buses – the stops are nearby. My room was very spacious. It had a double bed + a single one that went unused. I found the bed to be comfortable. Wifi was excellent. It was one of my requirements as I needed to join some online meetings late at night. I read a lot of reviews for different hotels and weak, or non-existent wifi seemed to be a bit of a theme. Won't have to worry about that at Lotus Hotel. I liked the homely feeling of the hotel. It really felt like coming home. The owners were incredibly lovely and friendly. Always had a little chat with me when coming and going. Gave recommendations, made some excellent tea, and even gifted me a fridge magnet when leaving which I happen to collect :) I'm embarrassed to say I've forgotten their names (I knew I should have written it down), but the gentleman even walked me to the tram station when I left for the airport. And he helped carry my heavy suitcase up and down the stairs. My favourite part, though – they have cats and dogs! Loved giving belly rubs when the pets were in the reception area when I passed through. Sometimes they were out for a walk. All in all, I had a fantastic experience staying at Lotus Hotel. Would definitely stay there again, and would also recommend to others.

Rodzinny hotel, prowadzony przez bardzo miłych i pomocnych ludzi. Gospodarz i Gospodyni mówią po angielsku, druga Pani mówi po rosyjsku. Mają bardzo dużo kotów i dwa pieski, (każdy z nich ma swój charakter i osobowość), co znacznie umila domową atmosferę. Mają również transport do i z lotniska. Bardzo pomocni, życzliwi ludzie z wielkimi sercami i empatią. Serdecznie pozdrawiam i dziękuję 👋🏻🙏🏻😌

The customer service here is excellent — the staff, especially the lady who helped us, was extremely helpful. It’s very animal-friendly, with lots of cats and dogs around, so it might not be ideal for kids who are nervous around animals. Management is great, and the location is decent. Room was clean

Остановились на одну ночь, в самом отеле тихо, район конечно так себе для туристов, но у нас не было выбора, в июле очень жарко, просто невозможно, есть кондиционер, очень слышно мечеть рядом, у нас все прошло безопасно. Белье чистое, фен есть. Хозяева добродушные приятные люди и очень много кошек) Так что будьте к этому готовы, бронировали за 4000 рублей, этого не стоит конечно, но нам нужно было срочно что-то найти.

super great place to stay. they have AC, very reliable wifi, & the workers even provided us suggestions around the city. our room smelled like it used to be a smoker room, but nothing too bad. the bathrooms don’t have a ventilation system, so you just have to leave the door open to air it out after showering. service here is great & the workers are very attentive. we had very heavy luggage, & they have no lift… but they brought it upstairs for us without having to ask. the breakfast is good & cooked right in front of you. very nice people. we were woken up early by construction next door, but otherwise everything was great! i highly recommend.

Enjoyed my stay at the Lotus Hotel. Super welcome and hospitality from the staff! Fun and entertaining cats and dogs for pet lovers. Spacious room with air conditioning as well as a window that opens if you want some fresh air. The room also had strong WiFi a nice size mini refrigerator comfortable bed and a ventilated bathroom. A large and tasty breakfast is included as well as luggage drop off. Local neighborhood with a market restaurants and a short walk to Balat tourism. Also nearby is a tram stop that will take you to the metro and many Istanbul tourist attractions.

Buona posizione per visitare Fener e Balat. Purtroppo l’albergo non é come da foto anche la facciata é diversa, non troverete la “torre vetrata”. Purtroppo la pulizia non é il massimo ma in generale accettabile. Il proprietario e la ragazza che ci hanno accolto il primo giorno sono molto gentili e disponibili. Abbiamo avuto qualche problema invece con la colazione che avevamo chiesto di poter fare un po’ in anticipo ma forse la signora non era stata avvisata e sembrava infastidita del nostro arrivo, inoltre purtroppo ha più volte tossito mentre preparava i piatti senza girarsi o mettere la mano davanti. Mi spiace per il proprietario e la sua assistente, entrambe persone che mi piacerebbe rincontrare ma purtroppo non tornerei in questo hotel.

The kindest team ever at this hotel and they have the cutest dogs and cats there too. The hotel is very close by to Kadir Has university, with a couple of nice eateries and a supermarket. Basically everything you need. There are also T5 tram and bus stops around, so super easy /close to go to the touristy areas from here.

Very fine and also pet-friendly owners. Great value for the money in a quiet neighborhood away from the chaos of Istanbul centre. My only accommodation choice when in Istanbul. Highly recommended.

Autentikus környezet, barátságos emberek. T5 jelzésű villamos közel van, így remek a közlekedés bármilyen irányban. A szobák tiszták, a célnak megfelelőek. A reggeli bőséges! Vendégszeretet, közvetlenség jellemző a vendéglátókra! Barátságos, melegszívű emberek! Minden kívánságot teljesítenek, amit meg tudnak oldani! Jól éreztük magunkat! Kökény Ferenc Authentic environment, friendly people. The T5 tram is close by, so it's great to get around in any direction. The rooms are clean and fit for purpose. The breakfast is plentiful! Hospitality and directness are characteristic of the hosts! Friendly, warm-hearted people! They fulfill every wish they can! We had a great time! Ferenc Kökeny

What can I say? You will not feel as a stranger, it felt like home. The hospitality was really warming, really nice people. Oh and I loved the dogs (Shilla and shika) 🤗🤗🤗 very friendly. The room was very big for two people, the manager gave it to us with no extra charges, the breakfast was good but the omelette was so delicious 🥰 , they even did our laundry for free which made me admire them even more, I had 4 nights with my wife and it was a great stay. Really recommended
