By the way, I have visited museums in many cities, but the one I am reviewing on Google Maps for the first time is the Faisalabad Museum.Which is famous as Lyallpur Museum,This is the second museum in Punjab after Lahore that I really liked and enjoyed. The most interesting thing is that I am writing this review without an internal photo because I was not allowed to take a camera when I visited this museum. This doesn't mean you can't take a camera into the museum, but it does mean that sometimes cameras aren't allowed, perhaps because of a particular day.Come on, I'll visit it some day and add pictures to it.So let's talk about the museum. Museum tickets are available at a very low price. As in all the areas between the Chenab River and the Ravi River,Including the ancient Jhang Chiniot, Bwana, Sargodha, 18Azari and the areas of Lyallpur itself. In it, you will also find paintings of all the events that took place before, during, and after the independence of Pakistan.Since then, the greatest monument of regional culture has been erected here.Ancient household items range from primitive weapons to regional birds and animals.Samples of ancient calligraphy and writings are also found here.Anyone interested in history should visit this place.

A very nice and peaceful place to learn about the history and culture of Faisalabad. The museum has different galleries showing old traditions, the textile industry, and local heritage. Staff is friendly and the place is clean. Good spot for students, families, and anyone who loves history.

No tickets!!!!! A very interesting place to take your kids to visit.... informative!! Ancient objects,Mughal empire letters, Buddha statue, flora fauna of Pakistan, various antique swords, utensils, pottery items. If you visit make sure to visit the second floor too! There are handicrafts, models, a great insight to the past how thread was made, khaddi and khaddi tools, cloth merchants' trolley of caravans, British empire's table, office items etc. a lot more. Cameras are not allowed so am just sharing my two cents.

Staff has tiny knowledge but women were very courteous and knowledgeable. She was the boss and you may meet her on 1st floor. Collection is small but nevertheless important. Unfortunately this museum needs better display, better staff and more funds. Entrance is free. They are renovating their original library building. It has over 3000 important books. I hope they remain safe.

Faisalabad Museum: A Glimpse into Cultural Heritage Faisalabad, Pakistan’s third-largest city, contributes billions to the national economy and deserves better facilities to showcase the legacy of its forefathers. The government’s effort to highlight this heritage led to the establishment of Faisalabad Museum, located in front of the Zila Council. Though the museum is relatively small and lacks many historical glimpses, it still serves as a valuable repository of cultural heritage. Visitors are welcomed by carefully maintained displays of art and artifacts that reflect the region’s diverse culture. Exhibits, including the intricately preserved charkha and other traditional items, are thoughtfully arranged, offering deep insights into local history and customs. While modest in size, the museum provides an informative and well-managed experience, making it a worthwhile stop for anyone eager to explore Faisalabad’s rich cultural roots.

The staff, unprofessional and inattentive, sit idly in their chairs, engrossed in loud TikTok reels, utterly neglecting their responsibilities. Their lack of awareness and disregard for visitors reflect a shocking level of negligence. The gallery, left in a state of disarray, suffers from their indifference, while their poor grooming and lack of basic etiquette further diminish the experience for anyone who walks through the doors.

Didn't know Faisalabad city has its own PROPER museum. It's FREE of cost and no tickets are charged. Just keep the opening and closing hours in mind before going. Museum has artifacts which are rich of Lyallpur's (Faisalabad) history. The ways of living, culture, traditions of people residing here centuries ago are illustrated beautifully. Arfa Karim section gave me goosebumps 🙌 Freedom fighters of Lyallpur and some important leaders are shown alongwith their roles and achievements. A must-go point for families who look for enjoyment and recreation in Faisalabad. Also visit Allama Iqbal library next to the museum if you want to read books, newspapers, magazines, etc.
