Ein absolutes Highlight der Service ist außergewöhnlich gut und aufmerksam. Der türkische Kaffee das Eis und die Süßigkeiten extrem lecker. Das nächste Mal müssen wir das Frühstück ausprobieren.

Fantastic branch of Mado, and as usual with great selection and quality. They have so many kinds of desserts, candy, sweets, ice cream and cakes. The baklava is excellent and the lokum also is really tasty and you can taste the difference. Tried their brownie with fruit and it was very nice, full of flavour, not too sweet, just the right balance between the choclate flavour and the rest. It was served with fruits and banana sauce. Very nice indeed.

Excellent service by Mehmet and his colleagues. The meal and dessert selections are extensive, fairly priced, and delicious. The view from the 8th floor, featuring the cityscape and the sea is incredible. We'll return for sure. 👍👍👍

Nous avons dîné en terrasse au Mado de la place Taksim et l’expérience a été globalement très agréable. La qualité du service est bonne, le personnel est professionnel et attentif. Les plats servis pour le dîner étaient satisfaisants et bien présentés. La boutique est bien tenue et les desserts sont très bons, comme toujours chez Mado. 👉 Seul point négatif : la présence de fumeurs à l’intérieur de la terrasse, ce qui peut gâcher un peu l’expérience lorsqu’on mange. Mis à part ce détail, rien à dire, c’est une adresse fiable et agréable à Taksim.

Dropped in for a quick baklava fix and left with a smile. The dessert was rich, flaky, and just the right amount of sweet. What really stood out was the staff. Friendly, welcoming, and genuinely warm, they made a solo snack feel like a shared moment. Didn’t try the full menu, but if the service and sweets are any indication, this spot’s worth returning to.

Had a meal at Mado and it was absolutely amazing. Chef Mehmet Sef helped me personally and he was a real standout—super friendly and attentive. The food was incredible: a great variety, generous portions, and everything was delicious. I left fully satisfied and very well taken care of. Definitely a top experience and highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Mado’da ailecek serpme kahvaltı yaptık, her şey çok güzeldi ve çok memnun kaldık. Özellikle Zeynep Hanım ve Ender Bey’e güler yüzleri, ilgileri ve samimiyetleri için çok teşekkür ederiz. Sayelerinde keyifli bir kahvaltı oldu, emeğinize sağlık 🌿✨

Very good lunch and fair prices. The terrace seating on the 9th floor was pleasant and the air was fresh, even with a few people smoking nearby. I had meatballs with gravy and rice pudding, and was very pleased with both. My server Mehmet was very friendly with a smile that lit up the room! Thank you for the nice meal.

December 2025: Visiting Turkey. This one is close to Rixos Pera hotel. They have the whole building. Looked great so we went inside to try some baklava and coffee. That's when it went all down hill. The seating space ok the ground floor is very dull and cheap pastry shop like. It was 12AM, so we ordered Pistachio baklava, turkish coffee and tea. Baklava was hugely disappointing. Tasted so artificial and full of sugar syrup. Turkish coffee horrible (I know it's usually a bit bitter but this one was horrible). Tea was okish. The shop itself is huge but lacks food quality. Would not recommend.

Ein Muss für Dessert-Liebhaber in Istanbul! Ich habe hier vor kurzem Soğuk Baklava (Milch-Baklava) probiert und war so begeistert, dass ich direkt 10 Stück zum Mitnehmen gekauft habe! Die Qualität ist hervorragend – das Baklava war frisch, perfekt gekühlt und genau richtig gesüßt, nicht zu schwer. Service & Sprache: Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist die Beratung. Da mein Türkisch nicht so sicher ist, war ich sehr froh, dass das Team hervorragend Englisch spricht. Der Mitarbeiter war extrem geduldig, hat mir die verschiedenen Sorten erklärt und war dabei sehr freundlich und professionell. Man fühlt sich hier als Tourist absolut willkommen und wird ehrlich beraten, ohne dass einem etwas aufgedrängt wird. Ambiente & Lage: Die Filiale liegt super zentral in der Istiklal Caddesi. Trotz des Trubels draußen herrscht im Laden eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Alles ist sehr sauber und die Vitrinen mit den Süßspeisen und dem berühmten Maraş-Eis sehen einfach einladend aus. Fazit: Wer in der Nähe von Taksim/Beyoğlu unterwegs ist, sollte hier unbedingt einen Stopp einlegen. Das Soğuk Baklava ist eine absolute 10/10 und der Service top. Ich komme definitiv wieder!

Wir hatten ein typisches türkisches Frühstück mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht. Selbst bei nicht so tollem Wetter war der Ausblick einfach großartig. Es war unser erstes Mal in der Stadt – einfach wunderschön! Und wenn man mit einer türkischen Kollegin on Tour ist, ist es natürlich doppelt so gut. Der Service war super freundlich und aufmerksam. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Everything is very tasty, the portions are quite large, the service staff is pleasant. Clean and tidy place.
