Madurai Biriyani Restaurant

We ordered 2kg of chicken biryani. We got 3/4 of the filled bucket. Only 1 egg, 3 pieces of chicken (mentioned 4 on the menu). The worst taste I've ever tried in the past 12 years. I don't tell this is tomato rice. The tomato rice tastes even better. In the middle of the bucket, we found a burnt chunk of rice. In front of my guest, I was so embarrassed. How a restaurant could think that 1 cup of ritha and 1 cup of Brinjal will be enough for a 2kg biryani. No plates, no spoons, even. இந்த உலகத்திலேயே குளோப் ஜாமூன் ல டூப்ளிக்கெட் போட்டது நீங்க மட்டும் தாண்டா... I never ever forget the moment when my guests said they were full hungry and craving for a good biryani. I ordered this. Never go for this.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Recently, we had dinner at Madurai Briyani Restaurant, Muweilah, Sharjah, and it was a really good experience. We tried their Nattukozhi Soup and Mutton Briyani, and both were absolutely worth it. The soup was flavorful, comforting, and had that authentic South Indian touch, while the mutton briyani was aromatic, well-cooked, and packed with the traditional Madurai flavors. The portion size was generous, and the meat was tender and juicy. The restaurant ambiance is simple yet welcoming, with a homely feel that makes it perfect for a casual family meal. Service was polite and timely, and the staff made sure we were comfortable. They also have a wide variety of dishes on the menu (sharing the menu card here for reference), which makes it a great spot to explore more South Indian specialties beyond just briyani. If you’re in Sharjah and craving authentic South Indian flavors, especially a good Madurai-style biryani, this place is definitely worth a visit. Looking forward to trying more dishes here!

We had the following foods. Bun Parota - Good Maan/Deer Masala - Good Rabit Chukka - Good Mutton Curry Dosa - Awesome Chicken Curry Dosa - Average Brain Egg Fry - Ok but too much onion and less brain Dosa and onion tomato uthappam - Good

I ordered mutton biryani, but unfortunately the taste was not good. I already informed the table servant

I recently visited this Tamil restaurant, and the overall experience was excellent. The **Mutton Nalli Biriyani** was rich, flavorful, and the nalli was perfectly tender. The **Chicken Nattu Kozhi Biriyani** had an authentic village-style taste with perfectly balanced spices. The **Bun Parotta** was soft, fresh, and absolutely enjoyable. The **Chicken Kothu Kozhi** was delicious, aromatic, and full of flavor in every bite. The **Mutton Nalli** was melt-in-the-mouth tender, and the **Mutton Chukka** had bold, perfectly roasted masala. To finish the meal, the **Jigar Thanda** was refreshing and the perfect sweet ending. The service was genuinely impressive, and the staff were very polite, friendly, and attentive. Overall, I’m really happy with both the food and the people at this restaurant. Highly recommended!

Using poor quality materials in food has happened several times. Today, I ordered Vada and again experienced very poor quality food materials were used during preparation. This is not the first time. Also, we dined in for dinner one day. After finishing our dinner, we bought one plain dosa for our child, but the staff refused to provide sambar. After an argument, they said would charge separately even for packing a small quantity of sambar. This overall experience was very disappointing. Reason for one star- Don’t like to give even a single star. But need to select a star to comment. To Owner: Advice to improve the quality and hospitality…

After a long desire to visit Madurai Biriyani, my family of three finally dined at this wonderful restaurant yesterday for lunch. Mr. Raja took our orders with great politeness and even suggested a few dishes. We chose Naatu Kozhi Soup, Chicken Biriyani, and Chicken 65 Biryani. Mr. Raja's warmth was evident throughout, even while serving our food. Our request to have the biryani served on banana leaves was graciously accommodated. He also treated my seventy-year-old father with special care and appreciated his feedback. The piping hot biryani was incredibly flavorful, with each taste perfectly balanced. The pepper in the soup was sharp and pungent but not overpowering, offering a soothing effect. We ended our meal with a refreshing Jigarthanda, though it wasn't the best I've had. Wash area is too crammed which is a drawback. Overall, it was a memorable lunch experience. I highly recommend this outstanding restaurant and commend the excellent service of Mr. Raja and Mr. Bala, whose warmth truly enhances the experience. I look forward to visiting again soon.

The staff was exceptionally welcoming, and the lunch, especially the butter paneer, was delightful. I asked for it on banana leaves, and they accommodated without any hesitation. The only drawback was that the restroom was located at the back of the restaurant. Overall, a positive experience.

We have been an frequent customer to both restaurants present in Abu Shagara and Muweillah branch. Earlier days the taste of the Breakfast food used to be really good and we used to order frequently. Nowadays the quality of Breakfast is gone realllly bad... 1. Today we had ordered Breakfast through Noon Food. - The Quality of Pongal was really bad. It tastes like plain rice. - Poori Potato Baji was really concerning... It seems like it had been spoilt. 2. We had ordered before also. They had forgotten to put the Poori's Potato Bajji 5-6 times which really frustrated us. Their Lunch orders is normally really good but then only breakfast needs to be improved by a lot. Their Prices are also high so we expect the quality of food to be good too.

Visited this restaurant first time on 9th December 2023 and I am addicted the food taste. We ordered Mutton biriyani, Chicken biriyani, kothu parotta, Mutton boti, Chicken 65, chicken lollipop, jigarthanda, Tea, Coffee etc. and all of them taste was very good….The staffs also very kind and cooperative (Mr. Murugan and one more person working at counter, I don’t remember his name exactly). The place is not very big but well arrangements… Well recommended for Families, Everyone and South Indians (Especially for Tamil people)

It's the best place to experience and taste Madurai's Ultimate Super tasty Chicken and Mutton Biryani with Kaadai Fry and Culambu along with Veechu Parotta. One of these is the best combo and must-try. Simply to say this restaurant serves the best Biryani in this Muwaileh Commercial Area with spicy taste. All the items here are much more affordable and always worth of spending as compared to the BVK branch of Abu Shagara. I recommend it's the best cuisinery to taste Madurai's Biryani Style.
