Mafraq Hospital

Mafraq hospital was the super speciality hospital of the UAE. After providing the 50 years of precious medical care to the community, now it has moved to a new location (near to the old location) with a new name SSMC. The old Mafraq hospital buildings are demolishing now. With thankful heart, I could visit that place this morning (08.03.24) There are many mixed memories came to my mind. 32 years of my stay here in this wonderful country, the government and the Great Rulers have given enough care and support to the citizen of the UAE and along with them all care and love extended to the expatriates as well without any difference. We love this country!❤️. Many of our expatriates families could live here and support financially their dear ones back home with the job provided by this institution. 😘👏 God Bless UAE 🇦🇪 Pls watch more photos of new SSMC hospital from my collections.

SSMC is known as one of the UAE's largest hospitals very neit and clean, sarveis very well 🇦🇪......

OMG why dont u ppl update, its closed for more than a year. Finished, its no more a hospital.

The best care, fantastic doctors, staff and doctors are always at their toes, response is fabulous and hospitality is fantastic. Last but not least they treat every emergency cases as last breath without any discriminations and with free of cost. No insurance required for emergency. Overall this hospital is perfect example for discipline

Visited this hospital for COVID-19 test for children as required by the school authorities, staff very cooperative and working efficiently

I was there 16.02.2022 due COVID. There was no queue and all the doctors and nurses are very nice. Была тут 16.02.2022 с положительным ПЦР на Ковид. В других отзывах писали про огромные очереди. Но в этот день я была одна и всё прошло быстро, минут за 20 меня осмотрели, выдали лекарства, еду и посадили в авто для трансфера в отель.

I wanted to give 0 start's but couldn’t, THIS place is a absolute slaughter house for humans, I’ve been a Doctor for 33 years and shocked at the lack of knowledge, health and hygiene practices of the employees, lack of English or Arabic spoken by employees who cater to mainly Arabic and English speaking patients. The hospital needs to do a urgent investigation into the certification and education of all employees as I believe many have forged fake documents and there actions highlight that! I would also urge all future patients to stay far away unless you want your loved ones to die or become worst, there is no compassion nor any professionalism, all pretenders who only look good in front of management. The worst hospital, quantity over quality, no guidelines on how to avoid cross contamination, everything is low standard’s, and the employees all lack knowledge, where did they learn from? Has anyone done any checks!

Lack of doctors, they kept my father in emergency for long. The specialist came 3 hours after his admission. It's a good hospital and they do care about their patients but they need more doctors and more rooms. مستشفى كبيرة و مزودة بأحدث الأجهزة رغم أنها قديمة و لكن يوجد نقص واضح في عدد المختصين و الأطباء خصوصاً في قسم الطوارئ .. ستكون المستشفى أفضل بزيادة عدد الغرف في قسم الطوارئ و زيادة عدد الأطباء المناوبين

إن العدد الهائل للمراجعين اليوم أدى إلى مشكلة كبيرة، أنا ٤٦و والدتي٦٨ سنة و زوجتي٤٦ ذهبنا لعمل فحوصات الصدر و الدم لأجل الكوفيد ١٩، و ذلك على الساعة الرابعة مساء مع الأسف والدتي التي عمرها ٦٨ سنة بقيت منتظرة الطابور لعمل الفحوصات لغاية الساعة العاشرة ليلا، ثم إنتظرت النقل لمستشفى الإمارات الميداني من الساعة العاشرة و النصف إلى الساعة الثانية عشر ليلا الذي لم يحصل بتاتا، انتظرنا بالبرد الذي كان أرحم من المكيف على والدتي المريضة للساعة ١٢:١٠ دقائق مما أدى بي أخذها للسيارة لتدفأ، "كان بالإمكان إخبارنا بأن بأنهم سيتأخرون و يفضل أن نذهب بها إلى البيت،" أنا الآن درجة حرارتي ٢٨ و هي حرارتها الآن ٣٩ من البرد الذي عانيناه بإنتظار نقلها إلى المستشفى، كنت أتمنى أن يأتي أحد و يقول لنا" عودوا غدا صباحا قبل أن تمرضوا أكثر و سيكون كل شيء جاهز"، نشكركم على حسن تعاملكم و لكن لشدة مرضنا من البرد حيث بقينا ننتظر ولم يبلغنا أحد!!! ذعب معظم الطاقم الطبي لبيوتهم، كما أن المستشفى الآخر يبعد ١٥ دقيقة بالسيارة عن المستشفى الحالي. الطاقم الطبي مغلوبون على أمرهم من كثرة المراجعين و الأمر عند المدخل منظم جدا و لكن المشكلة ما بعد المدخل نحن عائلة كان يجب أن نعامل كعائلة و والدتي من كبار العمر كان من الأفضل تبديتها بالداخل هي و من في سنها علي أنا و من في سني!!!

Tmpat dimna sy bernaung tnpa kluarga,,tnpa teman waktu sy mengalami kclkaan, jatuh dari lantai 2,,,di al ain,, kemudian dibawa sm perawat dari Indonesia lampung,, ke rumah sakit ini, untuk operasi kaki tangan saya patah,, pada tahun 2015 alhmdllh,, berkat allah SWT,, dn pelayanan dokter norse2 d rumah sakit ini 10 kmudian udh bisa dbwa pulang buat rawat jaln,, ❤ jadi sdih klo ingt kjadian itu 😥

we understand the emergency situation but staff must remain calm and positive. we were sort of threatened by the recipient nurse Mr. Neil that there is a long wait before some doctor may attend us. ultimately we had to leave the place and find another emergency services on this Eid Evening...

Drove there happy. 8 hours later!! I drove home quite upset! Asymptomatic. Still made to take an ECG xray and blood test?!? Not a drop of water or any food alllll day! Why. Why all the testing and waiting?? Give the watch and let us be on our way. Horrible system. Period.

It's a governmental hospital providing emergency and clinic services, the have efficient triage system, door no.1 for cold cases, door no.2 for urgent cases that need rapid response. It's the main hospital that receive all cases transported via ambulances, you can go there even if you don't have insurance where a committee will decide to make you pay or not .. they will help

My niece has been admitted in covid facility ward. I don't know if its because its too busy but answering patient's needs is really bad. Could not give medicine on times of pain on the right time. Not answering calls when pt needs them. Staff probably still required good knowledge on prioritising patient needs.

worst hospital ever don't ever think of going there . you can find much much better hospital than this they laugh at you they slow and talking to each other, never working even if your have pain 10/10 they act as if you have nothing my story i had to wait 7 HOUR !!!! and they just tell me you need appointment for ultra sound to make sure what problem i have then WHY DID YOU MAKE ME WAIT 7 HOUR WITH 10/10 PAIN !!! my advice don't go there even if it was the closest hospital and 10/10 pain. they will make you wait 3 to 7 hour plus they will make you feel worst
