A Terrible Guest Experience: Think Twice Before Buying a Membership! My friends and I (two couples) stayed at this property for two nights starting June 19, 2026. My friend holds a membership, and I accompanied them as a guest. We were allotted rooms 015 and 013. What was supposed to be a relaxing getaway turned into an absolute nightmare. Here is a breakdown of our horrific experience: The Foul Smell & Quick Fixes: The moment we opened room 013, we were hit by a terrible, suffocating odor. Instead of fixing the root cause or changing our room, the staff simply sprayed room freshener and literally dumped it into the AC vent. Broken Amenities: The AC in room 013 did not cool the room at all, even when set to 16^\circ\text{C}. Furthermore, the balcony door wouldn't lock, posing a major security issue. Clueless and Casual Management: When we complained at the reception, the receptionist casually told us to go for a walk while they fixed it. We returned after an hour, only to be told, "Go check it yourself, it must be done. If not, give us a call." When I insisted that they verify it first, it turned out nothing had been fixed! Later, a technician arrived, reset the AC, and tightened a screw on the door—but neither issue was actually resolved. We spent two miserable days suffocating in a smelly, hot room. Pathetic Restaurant Service & Stale Food: The service at the restaurant was painfully slow. Tables lacked basic cutlery, and waiters were nowhere to be found. To make matters worse, nearly 40% of the breakfast items served were stale and leftover from the previous day. Final Verdict: I actually accompanied my friend to experience the property firsthand because I was planning to purchase a 10-year Club Mahindra membership. However, after this dreadful experience, I am absolutely dropping that idea. They charge you heavily for everything, but the service is zero. If you are planning to buy their membership, please think twice and beware!

We had a lovely stay at Club Mahindra Kensville from 10th May 2026. The resort is beautiful, but the highlight was the outstanding service from the staff. A big thank you to Preeti Madam for the warm welcome and to Durgesh, Bhanima, and Vijay Singh for being so attentive and helpful throughout our stay. Also, a special shout-out to Chef Dhiraj—the food was delicious and really elevated our experience. Great hospitality—we look forward to visiting again!

Incident Report Date of Visit: Day Trip to Kensville Summary: This report documents a series of events that occurred during a day trip to Kensville involving cycling activities, an injury sustained by a participant, subsequent efforts to obtain medical assistance, and related observations regarding emergency response and safety provisions on the property. Chronology of Events: 1. Arrival and Activity Participation A group of visitors attended Kensville for a day trip and participated in various recreational activities, including cycling using bicycles rented from the on-site MYBYK station. 2. Cycling Conditions and Initial Accident During the cycling activity, the group observed that the concrete riding surface was extremely rough. No helmets or other basic safety equipment were provided at the time of bicycle rental. While cycling, one participant fell and sustained severe abrasions to both knees and elbows, as well as a head injury that resulted in significant bleeding. 3. Request for Assistance Immediately following the accident, the group contacted reception to request assistance. Reception staff advised that responsibility for the matter rested with Kensville and indicated that Club Mahindra could not provide assistance. At that time, no Kensville staff were available at the location. When inquiries were made regarding access to a doctor, nurse, or other medical support, the group was informed that no such facility was available on-site and that the nearest hospital was approximately 15–20 kilometers away. 4. Delay in First Aid and Emergency Response The group made repeated requests for first aid assistance while the injured participant continued to bleed. Basic first aid was not provided promptly. As a result, the group arranged emergency transportation independently by contacting an ambulance service. Neither Kensville nor Club Mahindra provided substantial assistance in coordinating emergency medical care. Members of the group also had to provide directions to guide the ambulance to the accident location within the property. The injured participant was subsequently transported for medical treatment and required three stitches. 5. Secondary Incident Following the initial accident, the group was instructed to return the rented bicycles to the MYBYK station. During this process, a second participant fell and briefly lost consciousness. 6. Communication Regarding Payment While the injured participant was being transported to the hospital, reception staff contacted the group on three occasions regarding payment for two club sandwiches totaling approximately ₹1,500. Although the payment amount was not disputed, the timing of these communications occurred during an ongoing medical emergency. Observations: Based on observations made during the visit, the group noted the apparent absence of on-site medical personnel and the lack of an immediately accessible medical facility within the property. The group also observed no visible lifeguard supervision at the swimming pool during their visit. Concerns were raised regarding safety measures, emergency preparedness, and the availability of timely medical assistance for guests participating in recreational activities. Conclusion: This report records the events and observations experienced during the visit to Kensville. Visitors may wish to consider the availability of safety equipment, emergency response resources, and medical support when participating in activities on the property.

Stayed at Club Mahindra Kensville Golf Resort recently and had a very disappointing experience. The property feels old and poorly maintained. Our room was extremely dusty and had a strong unpleasant smell, making it uncomfortable to stay. We also heard continuous noises from the vents, which was quite disturbing and raised concerns about possible pest issues. The dining experience was equally frustrating. As a Jain guest, the staff was not aware of Jain food options, and I had to repeatedly check with senior staff before every meal, causing unnecessary delays. Overall, the stay did not meet basic expectations of cleanliness, maintenance, or service. Definitely not the standard you expect from Club Mahindra. Would not recommend.

We went to Club Mahindra for its standard but to our surprise it was not at all the hype and standard we expected. We have earlier onboarded many hotels with our 2 daughter one being effected from cerebral palsy, so we generally book with one child as option since the other daughter will not at all enjoy any amenities including the breakfast since her food is totally different we ourself carry the same. Since we selected only 1 kid while booking they demanded 2360 extra for our special child. Its ok we understand some hotels might have policy but for me who travels a lot with my kids this was the first time we were charged. Then we entered our room where a mice was welcoming us in the toilet. I mean seriously, Club mahindra have not done this basic checks while you onboard your guest. It took around 30 min to get the mice removed since they we not able to provide another room due to non availability hence we were forced to wait beside our allotted room in 45 degree. Then we saw the reason how could a mice enter a closed room. The roof top where the ac connection was fitted was open and we were sure that there were more such mice wanted to welcome us. We immediately asked them to close this but the lethargic staff would not know how to deal in such situation. Hence my wife did what she does the best and the effect was resolution in 15 min. Now coming to the swimming pool, it was expected that in summers this would be the amenity which all guest will like to have. But to our surprise the water was not clean at all and we got to know the reason at 8 pm when we saw 15-20 frogs having there house party in the swimming pool. Awwee Disgusting. While we were leaving the onboarding manager asked us whether we were served the cake last night (since it was our anniversary), we said your staffs are super efficient and will be delivered may be when we leave to the mice. The property is nice but its not well maintained. The staff is slow. the food is good but equally expensive. Overall disappointed with the experience.

We stayed twice here while on a road trip around Gujrat. Once, at the start of our road journey and then again at the end of trip. Memorable stay...Serene and picturesque location.Rooms are clean and spacious. We got the rooms with balcony facing lush green golf course. Perfect sitout to enjoy morning tea. Staff is courteous. Tasty food but quite expensive....that was the only area, which needs attention. Location is perfect for peaceful vacation or weekend. Landscape is very relaxing.

Duration of Stay- 23/01 to 26/01 Room- 010 Property - Superb. Wide spread. lush green with amazing AQI. Restaurant- buffet was amazing with wide varieties of food items. The best part was the partition seperating veg and non veg items. Taste good. However, during my stay, their pastry chef was not available so pastry items were very restricted. Amenities- Apart from the regular Happy Hub, Property provide great options for sports lovers- squash, badminton, table tennis, lawn tennis, pool table, gym and swimming pool. Some never seen before in any other Club Mahindra resorts. Rooms- Major drawback. My room was 010. Golf Course View with Bath Tub. Old construction is clearly visible. Cracks and seepage on walls and poor flooring. Electrical fittings are also poor with only 2 charging sockets. No amenities like microwave in the room was also a setback. Housekeeping team - 10/10 for keeping their best efforts to make the room feel nice. Overall- Good property for 2-3 days stay.

Service can be much better, Greetings in the restaurants and others area was not done accordingly to the day timings or Namaste. Food pricing is high, can understand it might be as per company rules. AC in the room was not working properly, cooling was less. Middle of the night suddenly getting off. Need to look into it.

We were staying at Club Mahindra Kensville Resort during a golf tournament at the Kensville Golf Club, and the experience was quite disappointing. While the rooms were decent in size, they were far from clean. The telephone and television didn’t work despite informing the staff multiple times, and the housekeeping service was very average throughout our stay. Basic amenities were missing; there were no towels in the room initially, and the body wash dispenser remained empty for the entire week. The buffet, though quite expensive, was another letdown, the food was mostly cold, and the same dishes were repeated every day. For a reputed resort brand, the lack of maintenance and attention to guest comfort was surprising and below expectations.

It's always a pleasure to stay at Club Mahindra Properties. But this one was extra special, because of the Gold Fields and fantastic facilities the resort has to offer. Squash, Badminton, Tennis, BasketBall, TT, Swimming Pool, Gym, and many many other inhouse activities. In addition to all of this the resort does plan the whole day activities for all the guests. Right from early morning to late night fun events, with music, food, art and family time go hand in hand. This stay was very very memorable and will always be my preference to go to Club Mahindra Kensville Golf Resort again and again.

Out of all the resorts we have stayed at till that, this was the best without a doubt. The staff was extremely sweet, friendly and supportive especially Miss Preeti (at reception front desk), she is a sweetheart. Huge shout out to her for being so professional yet so friendly. Amazing experience.

It’s a 3-star hotel masquerading as a luxury one. They don’t have any amenities in the room and haven’t upgraded their systems since 2010. Their services take 45mins to comply and housekeeping needs multiple reminders to supply basic necessities. The food is below average with a rating of strict 2/10. As a Club Mahindra member you expect better facilities but this resort is just not it.

Oh my what to say what this place, I guess I’m in love with this CM’s resort. The entire resort, the staff, the food was super good. The place was so huge with top-notch cleanliness. The staff’s way of talking and giving respect is also “ek number” …. Also a big THANK YOU to Naresh and Sayan (housekeeping staff) for decorating my parent’s room so beautifully. Love the way of decorating the room with so style and was elegant to, can be called as “royal” decor. ❣️

Worst service ever. Never experienced this much terrible service from any resort or hotel till date. We have booked 2 rooms in resort yet on arrival they made us wait and told us that rooms are not ready then they took us to another villa till rooms gets prepared and then again to another villa and the condition of the villas were worst. So we again asked them about the rooms and they kept us on wait for several hours and in the end told us that they could not provide us rooms anymore. They don’t have basic Etiquettes.

Its a good place to stay at and you'll have fun there the property is very huge Activities like cycling and golf and cycling are also there but atleast for cycling they charge moneybut a major problem you would face is of food. The food prices there are exceptionally high a single chapati for 185rs and the meal packages present there are also too expensive 1300, 1700 and 1900 for breakfast, lunch and dinner respectively. Non lo consiglio. Ho soggiornato in molti hotel 5 stelle e questo ne merita al massimo 3 ed è un peccato perchè il personale è molto gentile, il contesto carino e il potenziale della struttura è alto. Stanze ampie, ma in generale in tutti gli ambienti pulizia scarsa, mobili ultra vissuti e a volte rotti, diversi accessori rotti come tende e altri oggetti. Inguardabile. Ristorante da sufficienza.

This resort is a classic case of investment gone wrong. The staff at the reception and in-room service is fantastic, but the staff working at the restaurant is ill-mannered. Someone should take a note of that. They are least bothered to serve the patrons, and are visibly upset if someone asks for anything. The quality of the food was also subpar. The rooms are poorly maintained, and we had to shift rooms due to water clogging and leakage in the washroom. The hotel itself is located about 40 kms from Ahmedabad. The property is massive, and the golf course is well-maintained. The resort also features squash and badminton courts, as well as a kids' play area.

THANKYOU, mahi from the Happy Hub department played a very important role in making our holiday at Club Mahindra truly memorable. She managed and conducted the activities with great enthusiasm and made sure every guest felt involved and happy. Her friendly nature, positive energy, and helpful attitude added a special touch to our overall experience. The activities organized by the Happy Hub team were fun, engaging, and well planned, which kept us entertained throughout our stay. Along with this, the food at the resort was delicious, hygienic, and offered a good variety. Our stay was very comfortable, and the rooms and services were well maintained. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. We are truly thankful to Mahi and madhumita the entire Club Mahindra team for such warm hospitality and a wonderful experience.

We had a comfortable stay at the resort . I would like to give a special mention to the courteous staff especially to Preeti at the reception desk , Madhumati at the games zone and Bhanima at the restaurant . These three girls are doing their respective jobs with utmost dedication and warmth . Their ever smiling faces feels very welcoming . Their hospitality is unmatchable especially when we compare them with the 'not so' courteous staff at the property . The resort has umpteen number of sports to keep the kids and adults occupied throughout the day .
