Malik Biryani & Barbecue Restaurant

I ordered Brown from their hotel today, the Brown beans from their hotel were completely raw, not Cooked properly.I threw them in Trash, it will affect our stomach, it can also upset our stomach. The dal mash is also same like this, completely raw, and Not cooked well.

One of the best restaurants in Dubai. Their food are very tasty special breakfast. I want to suggest people to go their once try their food. In the breakfast chicken haleen allo paratha nihare. Their staff are very friendly and respectful. Thank you so much for your service malik restaurant.

I had a terrible experience at Malik Biryani and Barbecue. I ordered the Chicken Fried Rice and Chicken Charcoal, but it was a total waste of money. The Fried Rice was literally smelling bad (foul odor), and the Charcoal Chicken was completely raw/undercooked from the inside—it was still white and had zero seasoning. It’s dangerous to serve raw chicken like this. When you pay for a meal, you expect basic food safety, which was totally missing here. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who values their health and money. Extremely disappointed with the quality!

Unprofessional management and poor hygiene standards. Mosquitoes were flying around while we were eating, and the washrooms had no soap or tissues. The food itself was not bad, but the whole place felt neglected—like the restaurant is about to close down.

We went for a late dinner, food was good, service was good and prices were very good. Large portion sizes and good authentic food. Would go back. I like boneless meat and this was an option for the chicken tikka biriyani which I was very pleased about. The decor inside is very nice and inviting and they also have seating out the front too. I would definitely go back and try some other dishes.

This was an amazing value for the amount of food you get. The chicken dishes were cooked perfectly with juicy chicken. The outside is plastic chairs and tables and the inside is nice. I didn't care for the meal, personal choice as it was just to spicy for me

They have outstanding spacious space. good interior. good service and good taste also. their biryani is same as karachi Biryani. ( Which is no doubt a hit ) Their Nihari Their Beef Bihari Boti Their Haleem everything was perfect we were living in albarsha for 3 days during our tour to dubai. and we ate with them everyday. Why i gave them 3 star in service is bcuz i have a bad experience 2 times with the manager ( or i dont know who is he the one sitting at counter ) One when we walk in the 2nd day and ask them for wifi as wifi was visible but have password. i asked the waiter he said i dont know the password i ask him if he can check with some one else he said yes than he went to counter and suddenly the manager started shouting his words were “ Nahi hai wifi tujhey pata nahi hai kiya? “ Dafa ho. i was just freezed that how can someone did this to someone. every where in this world free wifi is provided to coustmers. well i feel bad for that guy and we leave after lunch. late night i ordered food when food came the card was not working on their machine. i asked the rider ( he was working in the same restaurant ) that i dont have cash. can i pay in the morning ( cuz they are about to close ) or u can take back the food. he said Restaurant will not accept this but you can check by calling them i called them and same stupid person the manager or a counter guy attended and when i told him that my card is not working he started sounds like a rudest person. i told him that i can pay tomorrow as my husband have cash and i dont have. or you can take back your food he said “ No ! i dont have this policy you have to pay now i have to close the system no i cant take the food back also and cutted the line “ than when i asked the boy now what to do. card is not working on your machine. he said i will pay for you and you can pay me back tomorrow. i thanked him and returned him the money next day. but the point of this long review is they should change their manager or atleast teach him some manners to deal with clients.

My experience here was absolute 10/10, had no plans to visit here. The only reason I ate from this place is because I stayed at courtyard by Marriott al barsha. This place is in walking distance and the butter garlic nan is the best I had in my life with mutton Rogan josh and chicken tikka masala. I visited all the famous suggested places in Dubai in my one week visit but This food is the best. The price is also so affordable.

Had a chance to visit and eat chiken dum biryani, unfortunately it was not biryani that was chocked long ago they just oven it and served. Was not tasty at all. While ambiance was good, for family and sitting was fine.

We had a very disappointing experience with Malik Restaurant – both with delivery and dine-in. For delivery, we ordered rotis. When the delivery person arrived, I asked if he was from Malik Biryani & Barbecue Restaurant Al Barsha 1, and he casually said, “Lagta to yehi hai.” I asked again if he was delivering rotis, and he repeated, “Lagta to aysa hi hai.” This careless and unprofessional attitude left a really bad impression. The next morning, we visited the restaurant for breakfast and ordered an aloo paratha, keema paratha, and a halwa puri set. It took 15–20 minutes to arrive, which was slow but manageable. However, when we later requested just one extra puri, we waited another 15 minutes and no one came. The staff were completely inattentive, and other diners also seemed confused and ignored. We finally went to the cashier to express our frustration, shared both the dine-in and delivery issues, but the cashier seemed completely unaware and had no explanation or apology. Overall, it was a very frustrating experience. Poor service, lack of communication, and no accountability. We expected better from a restaurant in Dubai.

Vary good food, the test is so good, i was missing karachi test so biryani was just waoo. The haleem was also good. Must visit if you are near and want to test Pakistani test.

I had a very disappointing experience with this restaurant. I placed my order at 9:10 PM, but by 11 PM, the food still hadn’t arrived. When I called to follow up, the restaurant staff argued with me over my phone number instead of resolving the issue. I had to place the order again, and when it finally arrived, the yogurt was spoiled! This level of service is unacceptable. Evening shift person is just trying to be smart he needs to work on customer service. Poor communication, long delays, and bad food quality—definitely not ordering from here again.

Malik Biryani & Barbecue Restaurant is definitely a hidden gem located in Barsha. I came here on a recommendation of friend. It was my first time in the restaurant but definitely not the last. The ambience, interior and services are top notch. We tried Chicken Biryani, Mutton Biryani, Matka Rabri and Tea. The food was amazing and we loved every bit of it. The prices are very very reasonable, infact lower compared to the other Pakistani restaurants in that area. Definitely a place in my go to list.

Malik is a restaurant that you will enjoy if you set your expectations right. They do have a very good beryani for the price point. The meat/chicken isn't of the highest quality you get in Dubai, but remember that it is priced at 16 dirhams only. So it will not be fair to compare it to restaurants selling biryani at 50+ dirhams. Other than that, the restaurant is uniquely decorated, has an ample car park on the opposite side of the road, and the service is very good. Will I be visiting them again? Probably not.

We order through smile application look at the texture of the food this is breakfast item and it was halwa puri that we order, i dont understand who cook halwapuri chana in black color? Is there no one who complaint about it in there restaurant? Above all this was extremely spicy i eat spicy food but this was dead end spicy, we complained to smile app and there manager called this restaurant and restaurant manager refuse for return and he was very rude with them also and when he ask for refund the money he also refused i wrongly stand against that kind of behavior and selling food like them should not be allowed, i have friends and some contacts they also told me same story there food is not good at all and staff if bad too… if you are foodie and really dont want to ruin your mood do not visit this place, not recommended *Malik restaurant*

I ordered haleem restaurant and they send the order after 1 hours and after receiving the order waiting for that long time the haleem was smelling very bad and upon calling the restaurant back they said we cant do anything in this. So i advise people not to order the food from this restaurant. There services are very bad.

The beef biryani’s taste is awesome. Already I ate two times

Updated 2025: Overall, the halwa puri was disappointing, the puri flour quality should be reviewed. Instead of halwa, they sent kheer, claiming it’s more expensive. 2023: Good food and taste is like home food.

The restaurant's looking pretty good in there. It's a good restaurant, all in all. It's delicious and tasty food. Good support and assistance is provided by the service staff. Well, that's what the service department needs to improve. Otherwise everything is perfect.
