I had a wonderful stay at Mama Shelter Hotel. The room was very comfortable and had a lovely balcony. Delshan was welcoming and kind at reception, Denis was very helpful with arranging transportation and even gave me a lovely handmade bracelet, and Lidia kindly assisted me with extending my stay in the room. Eya was very kind at the pool and took great care of us with her friendly smile. The breakfast team was also amazing unfortunately, I can’t remember their names, but they were all very sweet and friendly. Thank you to the entire team for the excellent hospitality.

I stayed for two nights due to the unstable situation in the region, and I honestly couldn’t have felt in better hands. During stressful moments like these, what you need most is clear information and a team that makes you feel calm and safe — and that’s exactly what they delivered. They kept all guests constantly informed and reassured. The communication was consistent, transparent, and always with a smile. It makes a huge difference. Special thanks to Khushboo for her outstanding attention and constant updates, and to the reception team — Amr, Denyz, and Laxmi — for their incredible energy and warmth. Even under pressure, they created a safe and positive atmosphere. Also, Claudine from the breakfast team noticed I was cold one morning and, without me saying anything, brought me a blanket. That small gesture says everything about the level of care here. In difficult times, real hospitality shows. And this team absolutely delivered. Bravo.

We had a wonderful stay at Mama Shelter Dubai. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade from a standard room to a suite, which made our stay even more special. They also prepared complimentary fruits, juices, and a birthday cake for my husband, such a thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated. The food was generally very good. We especially enjoyed the shrimp fried rice, grilled chicken, calamari, and stir-fry noodles. The wonton soup noodles were okay, though, as an Asian, we personally prefer a more flavorful broth. Breakfast was decent as well. We also loved the room design and interiors. The full-height mirrors made the room feel more spacious and stylish, and the stainless steel mirror-finish details gave the space a modern and unique touch. The facilities are also good and well-maintained, especially considering it is a relatively small building. The outdoor cinema was also amazing, especially because it was acoustically treated. What really stood out was the amazing service. The FO team were very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay. Special thanks to Amr for taking great care of us and making our experience memorable. We would definitely come back again.

Amazing stay at Mama Shelter Dubai! I had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The rooms were stylish, comfortable, and perfectly clean. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day, keeping everything spotless. The breakfast was outstanding, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was fun, vibrant, and full of positive energy. A special thank you to Denyz from the concierge team. He was absolutely amazing, always friendly, professional, and willing to help with anything. His attention to detail and genuine hospitality made our stay even more memorable. We absolutely love this hotel and visit regularly with our children through Privilee. The service is consistently outstanding, the atmosphere is vibrant and fun, and the staff always go above and beyond to make us feel welcome. A special mention goes to Denyz at the front desk, whose warm hospitality makes every visit enjoyable, as well as the lifeguards, who are always attentive and ensure both the children and I feel safe and well looked after. Their dedication and friendliness keep us coming back time and time again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and we can highly recommend it. We stayed here with our 3-year-old daughter, and she loved the stay just as much as we did. The rooms were nice—cozy, clean, and the regular housekeeping was absolutely excellent. The reception team helped us with everything we needed, and everyone was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Both breakfast and dinner were of a high standard, but the dinners especially deserve praise—they were truly amazing. I might have had better Italian food here than I’ve ever had in Italy. The waiters, both at the pool restaurant and at the Italian restaurant, were fantastic. They were very professional, kind, and they always made our daughter laugh. They deserve a big thank-you, especially the guy from Zanzibar, although I can’t remember his name anymore. :D I would also like to praise the shuttle bus driver—he was great to talk to and always drove on time. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We definitely recommend this hotel.

I would like to sincerely thank Ziyad, Luis, Lakshmi, and the security Antony (Tony) for their warmth, support, and dedication until the very last moment. They were extremely cooperative and treated us as if we were part of their own family. I have truly never encountered a team like this before, they were absolutely amazing. Our stay overall was wonderful. The only point I did not expect was that the room felt smaller than anticipated compared to how it appeared in the photos. However, the housekeeping service was very attentive and detail oriented, and the team in general was always present and available whenever we needed them. In addition, the restaurant offered delicious meals, and the team there was equally wonderful, friendly, and welcoming.

During my stay, I experienced several issues that significantly impacted my experience. The bathroom sink in my room was leaking, and instead of initially offering a room change, maintenance was sent . By the time a room change was eventually offered, I had already reached a point where I no longer wished to continue my stay. The overall cleanliness was also below expectations. Guests were leaving used diapers in the hallway, creating an extremely unpleasant smell and an unhygienic environment. The breakfast experience was equally disappointing. The dining area was overcrowded, food items were frequently depleted, and many dishes were not replenished promptly. When I requested special eggs, the staff were unwilling to assist, despite the limited food options available due to the overcrowding. The combination of these issues made my stay uncomfortable, and I ultimately decided to check out early. I was informed that the hotel would notify Almosafer and that assistance would be provided regarding my concerns. However, despite checking out early due to the poor conditions, I have not received any refund or meaningful resolution from either the hotel or Almosafer. Given the circumstances, I believe a refund or appropriate compensation would be reasonable and I would appreciate this matter being reviewed.

One of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have had. The cleanliness standards were unacceptable, with stains on the curtains, floors, and bathroom. There were unpleasant smells in both the corridors and elevators, making the hotel feel poorly maintained. The service was far below what I would expect from a hotel charging premium rates during Eid. Breakfast was very disappointing, and the pool area looked neglected and dirty. For the price charged, the overall experience was simply not worth it. I left feeling that the hotel prioritizes marketing over actual quality and guest comfort. I would not stay here again.

Belle expérience, l´hôtel est beau. Attention à la propreté des chambres (précense d´un chewing-gum dans la chambre qui fait tâche pour un 5 étoiles). La solution apportée était un peu légère. Le personnel est serviable.

Just checked-in… Rooms are super small and cramped. There is zero noise cancellation or isolation, i can hear police sirens and horns sounds and people walking outside in HD - ear plugs are a must. There is a constant clicking and snapping sounds in the room for some reason. Super annoying. Weird bathroom arrangement with coffee station/fridge/safe box INSIDE the bathroom. No slippers / dental kit / toiletries/ towels / iron / robes provided. There is no closet /wardrobe just an open rack. The view is an under-construction building, i hope i dont wake up by the sounds of construction due to the lack of soundproofing. The room is nothing like advertised, it is an overhyped hotel for no reason. They seem to care about visuals and not about actual hospitality and comfort of the customers. Bonus: i told them when i booked that it was my bday - and they had plenty of time to prepare something special in the room or at least a nice note. But they did nothing. They had someone AFTER i checked in the room come in and write on the bathroom mirror happy birthday. Honestly, if a hotel claims they are 5-star, they need to provide a full luxury experience for their visitors, and the room experience is the most important for a hotel. Im regretting booking for more than one night at this hotel, especially for my birthday. We tried their breakfast buffet and it was very much disappointing, it is one row of food no variety or fresh counters for omelettes / waffles like usual hotels

What a beautiful hotel, we loved it so much we stayed twice on a recent trip abroad. The staff here are absolutely fantastic, so friendly and welcoming. We traveled with our toddler who was treated like a little star. Travel cot provided as well as a colouring book and pencils. Loved the robes and slippers too. What a treat.

We had an amazing time at Ladies Night in Attiko, and Ralph truly made our evening extra special! From the moment we arrived, he was attentive, professional, and incredibly friendly. He made sure our table was well taken care of, always checking in with a warm smile and great energy. His service was efficient despite the busy atmosphere, and he handled everything so smoothly. Ralph’s positive attitude and attention to detail really elevated our experience. Mama Shelter Dubai is hands down our favorite hotel in Dubai. Every time we come to the city, it feels like coming home. What we love most is the atmosphere. The hotel is stylish, unique, and high-end, yet incredibly warm and welcoming at the same time. It has a personality that is hard to find elsewhere: trendy without trying too hard, luxurious without feeling pretentious, and always full of positive energy. A special thank you to Denyz, Soe, Lydia, and Franklin, who consistently make our stays memorable. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality are a huge part of why we keep coming back. Great location and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The best thing about the hotel though is the staff - all very friendly and give really excellent service. Norbert in the restaurant was especially helpful and even remembered my daily order at breakfast each morning, as well as making a great cup of coffee. I will definitely stay at Mama Shelter again on my next visit to Dubai.

Vijay K did an excellent job cleaning our hotel room. The room was spotless, well-organised, and very comfortable. He paid great attention to detail and ensured everything was perfectly arranged. His customer service was outstanding friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. Vijay truly made our stay more pleasant, and his dedication and hard work did not go unnoticed. Highly appreciated and highly recommended!

كنت أتوقع تجربة أفضل من ناحية مستوى الغرفة والراحة. طاقم الفندق كان متعاوناً ومحترماً وهذا شيء أقدره، لكن للأسف لم أرتح في النوم بسبب المكيف، كما أن اللحاف والمخدات كان فيها شعور بالرطوبة منذ دخولنا الغرفة. كذلك كانت رائحة المناشف التي طُلبت غير جيدة. واجهنا أيضاً تأخيراً في خدمة الفاليت عند إحضار السيارة، ولم يعجبني توقف الخدمة بعد الساعة 11 مساءً. أتمنى تحسين هذه الجوانب مستقبلاً

Extremely disappointing experience. This was one of the worst hotel stays I have ever had. The service was extremely poor, and the cleanliness standards were unacceptable. The children’s pool area was particularly dirty and clearly not maintained properly. The hotel also had an unpleasant smell throughout several areas, which made the overall experience even worse. Customer service was incredibly slow and unresponsive. We requested bottled water and had to wait over an hour, despite following up more than seven times before it was finally delivered. The food was overpriced and did not come close to matching the quality or value expected. Overall, the hotel failed to meet even basic hospitality standards. I would not recommend this hotel and will definitely not be returning.
