Wonderful views of an interesting collection of historical and modern buildings. Visitors can walk in without bothering the porters and have a look around, as there is no gate. Just remember: don't step on the finely manicured lawn!

Yet another beautiful Oxford college. Georgia Tech students study here during the summer for their study abroad program.

Mansfield College, situated on Mansfield Road, is, in my assessment and based on highly positive feedback from students and staff I know, an exceptionally welcoming and progressive college within the Oxford ecosystem, renowned for its distinctive, supportive, and inclusive community atmosphere. I consistently hear praise for the college's modern approach to education, its strong commitment to widening participation, and the fantastic support system that ensures every student feels integrated and valued. My contacts often mention the beautiful architecture and the friendly, less intimidating environment compared to some older colleges, which makes it particularly attractive. My subjective conclusion is that Mansfield is a vibrant and forward-thinking academic home, successfully combining rigorous study with a genuinely nurturing communal spirit.

It was back in 1992 studying for my B.Ed degree at Nottingham Trent that I had an A4 refill pad with a sketch of Mansfield College, Oxford on the cover. 33 years later, I finally visited my namesake college. It was worth the wait. Does anyone remember those lined refill pads? Post a picture if you still have one, please.

It was a typical student room but that was what I wanted. The gardens and borders are beautifully planted. The porters were all very friendly and helpful. The College buildings are beautiful

In addition, Mansfield College cares about its students, providing comfortable accommodation and reliable support. The college community is friendly and welcoming, and the faculty and staff are always ready to help students gain knowledge and achieve their dreams. Mansfield College is a place where learning intersects with new experiences, where cultural diversity is intertwined with academic excellence. Such a beautiful college. Almost no people there although the outside is accessible to the public.

Lovely college with the most diverse demographic of students drawn from different backgrounds and cultures.

Beautiful old buildings like so many in Oxford. Rooms simple but clean. Too few electric sockets! Breakfast is simple but good. Pretty costly for the standard.

The college and its gardens are visually very appealing, and the guest room in the hostel, very comfortable. But I had to face 2 instances of racist (mis)behaviour from the Englishwomen who were also at the conference.

Mansfield has an interesting history going back to the nonconformist college in Birmingham. Some of this legacy is still present in the college. Mansfield's library (which is absolutely charming!) is decorated with portraits of ministers who did not conform to the 1662 Act of Uniformity.

Wonderful buildings, warm community; a beautiful college in the heart of Oxford.
