Breakfast buffet experience: The breakfast buffer is most certainly good enough and the food is well made, ingredients seem fresh and of course the ambience is exceptional. However I cannot possibly give any brekkie spot that makes miserable coffee more than 3 stars. To be clear the coffee here is on par with grocery store coffee or worse. I cannot say I didn't excpect it because this seems to be a common trend at 5 stars in India. But breakfast coffee is equally as important to me as the rest of the meal. About time Taj had an introspective look at its baristas and their skill ceiling, coffee beans and barista machines.

Beautiful place, staff courteous, service excellent, average food, limited choice of menu though good enough. Had a wonderful time and will keep the memories for long. Worth the money spent for those looking for a good time along-with food rather only good food.

Went here recently on a dinner date. The palace is always so stunning. We were able to enjoy a couple of strolls in the garden before and after our meal. While most of the food was great, the service was fairly slow but definitely courteous. The food also took really long to arrive. Even the candle on our table wasn’t lit. We ordered a bottle of wine but didn’t get any bar nibbles to go with it. There was just a basket of lousy papad and green chutney. You’d expect a place like this to offer something to munch on while drinking. This is what we ordered: 1. Bhatti ka Paneer Tikka (4/5) - soft succulent paneer cubes cooked perfectly, just lacked seasoning. 2. Mathania Gosht Seekh (4/5) - beautiful kebabs and great quantity too! 3. Vegetable Wok Fried Rice (2/5) - really dry and mostly unflavorful. I didn’t enjoy it! 4. Exotic Vegetables tossed in Chilli Bean Sauce (2/5) - let down here too! Didn’t enjoy eating it at all. 5. Palace Chicken Curry (5/5) - just perfect! 6. Garlic Naan (5/5) - perfectly crisp just like we requested. 7. Kesari Rasmalai (5/5) - perfectly balanced sweetness and super spongy. 8. Jeypore Martini (5/5) - loved my cocktail!

Excellent venue and the food was quite good too. Our server, Ayan, was beyond great. Well worth the trip advisor feedbacks too !

It's a beautiful and luxurious dining experience. Service was a bit delayed, not much. The taste was good not so delicious for the prices they are charging. The menu doesn't have so many vegetarian options. Can include more options in their menu.

I'll be dreaming about this stay for years to come and can't wait to return. 10/10

Multi cuisine restaurant which was very good. We tried Italian food here and every dish was amazing. Must try. Outdoor seating gives you perfect views.

Had a great stay! The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Loved the quick room service and smooth check-in process. Facilities like Wi-Fi, hot water, and housekeeping were all on point. Highly recommended!

The food really tasty. The atmosphere nice not luxurious though. Quite expensive, they offered us rice without telling us that it will be charged (450 rs plain rice).

Horrible Service The palace is breathtaking—such a beautiful place with a lot of charm and history. But sadly, the experience was let down by the staff. From the general manager down, the attitude was rude and dismissive. When we gave honest feedback, instead of taking it constructively, they acted like we were making things up and even asked for “proof”—which felt really off. We mentioned that the pasta was undercooked, and instead of just fixing it or acknowledging the concern, the staff insisted that’s how it’s meant to be. It felt more like an argument than customer service. It’s disappointing because I’ve stayed at other Taj properties, especially around NCR, and the teams there have always been super professional, polite, and genuinely care about guests. This place, sadly, doesn’t live up to that standard. Hope the higher-ups take notice before it gets worse.

Does not reflect the quality as hyped. Food quality is average, service is very slow. The staff lacks common sense on how and when to serve dishes that have to be consumed together.
