Marina beach connects everyone to the ocean. Whenever we run through the sands of this beach it reminds us of our childhood memories. The breeze just calms and you forget everything. The sunrise, sunset or anytime you go is worth here cause what is Madras without Marina. Part of this is the vibe you get with the amazing snacks, horse rides, balloon shooting and other fun activities, and vibrant crowd.

Well. This is world second longest beach. Usually this beach is crowded in the morning before Sun and evening after sunset. Nice place for long walk and you have multiple small side activities you can play. Like horse riding , shooting, etc. Late evening this is most happening place you may get to see a lot of snack items which you can savour. Other side of beach is where you have all government offices , which are historic buildings. Overall this is a must visit place in Chennai

Best place for a family outing only if the place is empty. Government does a lot of hardship in cleaning the place but still it gets littered every now and then. The beach is calm and quite and is not so arrogant. Sunset and sunrise is a bliss to watch and gives a relaxed feeling. You'll spoil the fun if you visit it more often. The place looks so damn cool after 12 clock with the breeze and the sound of waves.

This is mainly in Marina ⛱️ 🏖️ and because of the several local guide who are forcefully add this place . This place is also a Marina beach area and the whole place is awesome as usual. The best part is the entry there is several entry there and the wings fries and the bhutta means fried 🌽 . The alll the main beach in india And the biggest beach in Chennai city. And the Chennai city beach is most popular beach in the world 🌎 and south india .

Untidy place if you go in a day time. Also sunny climate here makes it difficult to enjoy. But worth going in the early morning! Sunrise! 😍 Better place to taka your family here especially the younger ones, since they have to walk a very long distance which many people's these days don't do. Fresh air makes one calm!

インド旅行の最後に訪れた思い出の場所です。 インドではビーチで水着を着る習慣がなく、皆普段着でビーチに使ったり、砂浜でボール遊びをしたりなどして楽しんでいます。 他の国のビーチでは見たことないですが、結構な数の馬がいて、ビーチで乗馬体験ができます。 この場所は物乞いの数が特に多く、老若男女問わず10秒に1回くらいのペースでやってきます。 もちろん全部は相手できませんが、相手もそれを分かっていて、色々工夫を凝らしてくるので面白かったです。 私は「この子にエサを買ってあげたいの」とサルを連れてきた女の子に少し小銭を分けてあげました。 露店では港町ということもあり魚を食べられますが、もちろんハエが舞っていますし、汚れた水が溜まった桶に汚れた皿が突っ込まれていて、その皿をそのまま取り出してお客さんに提供するという、なんともインドらしい光景を目にすることができます。

This is one of the beaches of the country which is highly crowded. The beach has lot of business ventures nearby and lot of eateries. There are beach side vendors selling caught fishes that they'll fry for you when you order and there are people who would sell corn and other fruits and vegetables. You have to be careful as there might be pickpockets around. The beach's waterpoint and main road distance is so long. If you're interested, you can take a horse ride.

The best time to visit is on a weekday preferably early morning, you can escape the weekend crowd enjoy the feeling of having the whole beach to yourself, Surprisingly cleaner than most beach in Chennai (Comparitively less trash and shit bombs here n there )

A great beach, second largest urban beach, accommodating loots and loots of street food,all on a stretch of 6kms, only one problem is that the landscape architecture done is urban friendly but not people friendly. If you need to go for a toilet or go to the road urgently then will have to walk a great distance to find out a connection or a public toilet

Such a good experience i loved it, bit expensive but happy to enjoy had fish was amazing this is my 2nd time coming Chennai both experience where good

This is one of the best beaches I've ever visited it has the longest shore and its very scenic as well. Trust me you will have a great time out here with the little games, rides and hot snacks.

世界で2番目に長いビーチに行ってきました。 インド人の憩いの場ということもあって外国人は見かけませんでした。 フォート駅から向かいましたが、道のりが長くとても気温が暑いのでトゥクトゥクで向かうのをお勧めします。 帰りはトゥクトゥクを利用しましたが5分で100ルピー、散々ぼったくられたのでとても安く感じました(笑) 写真を載せましたが入り口から波打ち際まではかなり歩きます。 馬や牛がその辺を歩いているので砂浜には糞が大量に落ちていてかなり臭いです。 ビーチはフォトスポットであるということ以外にやることはありません。水質の関係上インド人以外の入水はオススメされていなかったので触りもしなかったです。 ビーチサンダルで浜辺を歩く時は埋まっている糞に気をつけてください。

Nice place. Easy to access. You can enjoy the see. There are many spots to visit and those are walking distance from this place. Only coastal securities are less. Overall it is very good place for the tourist. One noticeable thing is the rates of foods are bit higher than the city rate. One tinder coconut costs 40-50 INR, where as you can get the same at Rs. 20-25 in city.

Nice place but keep in mind you can touch the water till 6-6:30 pm afterthat some people with whistle come and rudely say get out... BTW nice place to see sunset and sunrise..

Better beach spot as usual. Try to avoid crowds. Nearest metro is useful - omandurar

Open Place and less crowd in mid day time. Its the biggest and famous beach of chennai. But the place is little dirty. Horse riding is there on the beach at 50 rs.
