Had a chance to experience the Marion Beach Colombo restaurent lunch buffet, and it was an excellent experience from start to end;) The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, including Sri Lankan, Asian, and Western options, ensuring there was something for every palate. The food was fresh, well-presented, and consistently replenished throughout the service. I particularly enjoyed the seafood selection, live cooking stations, and the range of authentic Sri Lankan curries, which were packed with flavor. The dessert section was equally impressive, featuring a generous assortment of cakes, pastries, puddings, fresh fruits, and local sweets. Everything tasted fresh and was beautifully displayed. The restaurant atmosphere was pleasant, clean, and comfortable, with attentive staff who were courteous and quick to assist whenever needed. Despite the crowd during lunchtime, the service remained efficient and professional. One of the highlights was the stunning ocean view, which added to the overall dining experience and created a relaxing ambience. One small thing, they could have added more chicken dishes. There were only 2 varieties of cuisines under chicken (meat) section. And parata was not needed actually. Overall, the lunch buffet offers great value for money considering the quality, variety, and service provided. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying buffet experience in Colombo, whether for a family gathering, business lunch, or special occasion. Looking forward to visiting again.

We had an amazing stay at the Marino Beach Colombo and it exceeded our expectations in every way. We arrived several hours before check-in, and the staff kindly provided us with a temporary room, which was a thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated after our journey. The hotel offers excellent complimentary services, including a city tour of around 3–4 hours and a convenient shuttle service. We also loved the private beach access, with a dedicated beach shuttle running every hour, making it very easy to enjoy the seaside. Our suite was spacious, beautifully designed, and featured a stunning sea view that made every morning special. The highlight of our stay was definitely the breathtaking rooftop infinity pool, which offers spectacular panoramic views of the ocean and the city skyline. The hospitality, facilities, and attention to detail were outstanding throughout our stay. We highly recommend Marino Beach Colombo to anyone visiting Sri Lanka and looking for a luxurious, comfortable, and memorable experience. We would definitely love to return! 🌊🏖️✨

Tout était parfait. J’ai séjourné pendant deux trois jours dans cet hôtel. Beau standing, belles prestations. Les parties communes sont top comme le restaurant (buffet à volonté) ; il y a également d’autres restaurants « à la carte » que je n’ai pas testé. La piscine sur le toit avec vue sur l’océan est tout simplement sublime. Le personnel est attentionné. J’ai demandé à être surclassé dans un étage plus élevé : on m’a proposé une meilleure chambre avec vue sur l’océan. J’ai également demandé un check out tardif (15:00 au lieu de 12:00) ce qui m’a été accordé sans difficulté. J’ai ainsi pu profiter de l’espace piscine et du restaurant rooftop jusqu’à mon départ. J’ai apprécié passer ma dernière étape de mon voyage dans cet hôtel et j’en garde un très bon souvenir. Je recommande !

We had a wonderful stay at Marino Beach Hotel Colombo and the overall experience was excellent. Travelling with a 7-month-old child can be challenging, but the hotel was extremely accommodating and ensured we had all the facilities and support needed for a comfortable stay. The property offers access to five different restaurants along with direct access to Marino Mall, which was very convenient. A complimentary Colombo city ride at specified times was also a great addition and made exploring the city easy. The infinity pool was a highlight — beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere. Combined with warm hospitality and attentive service throughout our stay, it truly made the experience memorable. Overall, a great stay and highly recommended for families looking for comfort, convenience, and excellent service in Colombo.

We had a truly excellent stay at Marino Beach and would absolutely return. The highlight is the rooftop infinity pool - stunning ocean views and a beautifully relaxing space. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, and the hotel feels modern, calm, and well cared for. The photos on the website really don’t do this hotel justice. The décor is elegant and warm, and the chandeliers are absolutely breathtaking - I was genuinely awestruck every time I walked past them. The gym is also excellent. It’s very well equipped, and the staff were genuinely attentive - checking in, ensuring people were using the equipment correctly, and clearly caring about both safety and getting the best results. What truly sets Marino Beach apart, though, is the staff. I cannot praise them highly enough. Every interaction was warm, professional, attentive, and thoughtful - the kind of service that turns a very good hotel into an outstanding one. At the time of our visit there was some construction on one side of the building, which of course isn’t the hotel’s fault. We were moved to the opposite side and found it very quiet, and the hotel managed this well. Overall, this was an exceptional stay and excellent value in Colombo. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

We visited Marina Beach Colombo in December 2025 and stayed in a deluxe room with a sea view on a half-board package, which cost us LKR 39,000. The experience was really great overall. The room was excellent, spacious, cozy, and equipped with all the amenities we needed, including a bathtub that made the stay feel extra relaxing. We also tried the spa and had a good experience there. One of the things we loved most was the variety of dining options inside the hotel—we tried the rooftop garden restaurant and the Chinese restaurant, and the food was delicious. The infinity rooftop pool was superb, especially with the beautiful sea view, making it one of the highlights of our stay. The dinner and breakfast buffet were also delicious with a wide variety of international cuisines to choose from. Overall, it was a wonderful stay with great facilities, beautiful views, and a very enjoyable atmosphere. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway in Colombo.

We visited Marino Beach Hotel to celebrate my birthday and had their dinner buffet. It was an amazing experience! The food and drinks were really good and very tasty with plenty of options to choose from. The beach view added a beautiful atmosphere, making the whole evening even more special. We had a great night and truly enjoyed our time there. Highly recommended place to spend quality time with family or friends!

Tolles Hotel, alles total schick und sauber, Zimmer geräumig, Personal super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sie versuchen wirklich einem alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Der Pool auf dem Dach mit Blick aufs Meer ist fantastisch, die Bar bereitet leckere Drinks und Speisen zu. Absolut riesiges und leckeres Frühstücksbuffett mit Continental, Sri Lanka und Englisch Breakfast und Salatbart, frisch zubereiteten Waffeln und Pancakes usw... eine schier unendliche Auswahl. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

I recently visited Marino Mall. There were high-tech gaming facilities for both children and adults. In my opinion, the prices for each game were quite high, and the playing time was also not sufficient. I would especially like to mention the restaurant located in front of the beach. It offers outdoor seating where you can enjoy your meal with a beautiful view of the Indian Ocean.

I stayed for 2 days and overall it was a good experience. The hotel has a very nice rooftop swimming pool, which is definitely one of the highlights. The rooms and overall stay were comfortable, and I would recommend the hotel for its location and facilities. However, the food prices in the main restaurant are not reasonable at all, and the quality and pricing do not match the overall standard of the hotel. This was quite disappointing and unacceptable. Overall, I would still rate it 4 out of 5, mainly because everything else was good except the food pricing and quality.

A wonderful hotel with everything you need for a perfect stay. The rooftop pool is absolutely beautiful - great views and a relaxing atmosphere. The food is delicious, with varied and tasty breakfasts and dinners that never get boring. The shuttle service is very convenient and well-organized, and the private beach area is quiet and peaceful, ideal for true relaxation. A great place to unwind and enjoy comfort from start to finish. We stayed at Marino Beach Colombo for 1 night during this visit, and we also had a memorable stay here last year for 3 nights. Both experiences were consistently excellent, making this one of our favorite hotels in Colombo. The hotel has a superb location with beautiful ocean views and a very relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are modern, clean, and extremely comfortable, providing a perfect place to unwind in the city. What truly stands out is the exceptional hospitality of the staff. They are always friendly, welcoming, and go out of their way to help guests. During both of our stays, they were very supportive and made everything smooth and comfortable for us. The facilities are also impressive, especially the rooftop area and pool with stunning views of the ocean and city skyline. Overall, Marino Beach Colombo offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and outstanding service. We truly enjoyed both of our stays and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Colombo.

This is my 5th Visit to this hotel. I stay here for the hospitality and the excellent food. I love the variety of the food. This time I got an upgrade of the room and early check-in and late checkout... the staff were so kind and the Manager and the lady who served in the reception were so friendly and went out of the way to make me conformable when I arrived. Not only me, even my family members visit frequently. Thank u very much. I will come back again

I had a wonderful 2-night stay at Marino Beach Colombo and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. I stayed in the Signature Plus Room, and the view was absolutely stunning. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, clean, and very well maintained. The bathtub was a great addition, and the complimentary mini bar with soft drinks and snacks was a thoughtful touch. Everything in the room felt well arranged and worth the price paid. The hotel atmosphere was also impressive. The property was clean, well kept, and had a relaxing vibe throughout the stay. Its location on Marine Drive is another big advantage, making it a convenient and attractive place to stay in Colombo. Food was another highlight of the experience. I had both the breakfast buffet and dinner buffet, and both offered a huge variety of dishes. The food was fresh, delicious, and there were plenty of options to choose from. Service was good and acceptable, with staff being helpful and professional when needed. Overall, Marino Beach Colombo is a great choice for anyone looking for a comfortable and worthwhile stay with beautiful views, great food, and a pleasant atmosphere. Currently staying at Marino Beach Colombo and wanted to share an honest review. The hotel itself is beautiful—modern, very clean, and the front desk staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The location by the beach is also a big plus and makes the stay really enjoyable. However, there are a few issues that affected my experience. The main concern is the person in charge of the pool area, who was quite rude when I asked questions. It didn’t feel professional at all. Also, a few other staff members seem to judge guests based on appearance, which is disappointing for a hotel of this standard. The spa was another letdown. It’s quite expensive, and for that price, the service was not worth it. I expected much better quality and attention. We stayed at the Marino Beach hotel on our first and last day of our visit to Sri Lanka. We really enjoyed the hotel and the amenities - the rooftop pool and the beach lounge were both superb, the complimentary city tour was interesting and we liked that the hotel is connected to a mall, which had some good shops for souvenirs and a food court. The best of the best was however the staff - we felt very welcomed and our special requests were kindly met - we were able to have late check out on both of the occasions which we are very grateful for. Exquisite, Excellence, Exceptional There is really nothing to fault about the Marino Hotel. It's a one stop fixes all experience. From entering through their tax from the airport. The luggage staff take away your luggage for you and deliver it to your room after check in. It's easy and stress free. The check in staff were excellent providing their services and requests. The room itself is equipped well and styled excellently. Everything is quite convenient and comfortable.The room itself came equipped with a study lounge sofa which were used and convenient for everyday use with adequate storage provided. The mini fridge and water & snacks were all free and refilled daily, which we usually got some use out of. The air-conditioning was wonderful and stayed on and off when commanded and kept us cool during the stay. The hotel also provided a standing fan which was much appreciated. The suite has a MASTER switch you can just flick off which turns everything on & off which is so convenient. There is about 4 phones throughout the apartment which allow for ease for calling staff with any help you might need. The balcony has great views of both the city and ocean 👌 definitely a site to warrant a few photos Upstairs to the pool. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden that's immaculately kept. The pool itself is crystal clear clean and of an reasonable temperature. The views from the pool are memorable and enjoyable. The length of the pool is also long enough to swim lengths in the morning. There's beach chairs and pool towels provided with ease. The jacuzzi was a little disappointing but still warm enough to enjoy. The gym was stocked with brand new machines and was well equipped for nearly all styles of workouts. The conveniently placed towels, water and toilets were very helpful. The spa at first seemed cheap however upon review it does seem to be priced to foreigners be sure to haggle your way to a cheap price. The massage itself was adequate and comfortable. The mall downstairs was cheap affordable and had many options. The only thing if was missing was a pharmacy which would have been super helpful. Great way to get some good deals 👌 The city tour provided by the hotel was a safe and convenient way to enjoy the sites of Colombo. Having the hotel staff there made the experience much better and relaxing (stress free) and lasted a good amount of time and didn't drag out too long. The Marino Beach lounge was clean surrounded by helpful staff. The on duty life guard was awesome and so helpful with my partner who couldn't swim well. He provided floates so she was able to confidently swim out with me and even swam next to us for quite some time until we are confident. There was proper flags for swimming which made me feel put ease. We also got the opportunity to see some baby turtles the hotel was safe guarding. They were so cute and small! And truly an unforgettable experience. There were due to released them at 6pm but unfortunately we missed it! Overall the staff were excellent. One of them particularly remembered us and our room number consistently which was very personable and made us feel right at home The Marino is a must see and must stay! There's barely anything to fault and we have stayed for nearly two weeks and would stay longer and again should the opportunity present itself. It's supper affordable and  the best hotel we've stayed in Sri Lanka. 4 stars is a rough evaluation this is certainly an 5 star experience and insane value for money
