Section Manager Narien/ Narendra Kumar entered female fitting area. It is utterly shocking that this section manager went inside the female fitting area and into room that I was using. His justification, i was not inside the trial room at that moment. My belongings were still inside the room. This raises a lot of ethical and security issues. Firstly, why are 3 men and no women outside female fitting area. Secondly, how was this person able to enter female fitting area and room. This behaviour is sickening, disgusting, unacceptable and should never have occurred. Both the store manager’s and the section manager’s responses were irresponsible. Will never be visiting.

M&S in Express Avenue is the best M&S store in Chennai. They stock a wide variety of women's clothing, and more specifically Autograph, Rosie and Per Una which are of superior quality compared to regular M&S collection. Customer service is always great and would highly recommend this store for good quality clothing!

Trendy and style cloths store. In offers time must visit. They have many deals. Kids, Men and women fashions are available. Footwear, bags section also new collection. Offer time Sizes and rates are kept mixed. Staffs were helpful. One of the costly shop in ea mall

The range of clothes and apparel is good as is normal with Marks and Spencer, but the cusotmer service is rather poor as the attendants do not seem to care or help customers with any of their needs.

We mostly go M&S for food the quality is good. Friendly staff and their bakery stuff so good

Every one has there signature brands but some have OR Search shops when they grow fat or slim. Has this ever toped your head first see the month but what if we get our diet right. Choose and stick to one fabric always you can change the size sometimes buying big keeping them in case you put weight is better. YOUR SIGNATURE REMAINS. 😃

I did not buy clothes from the store and the attended told me “size not fitting” and she laughed. Get some sensible people on job! Or close your store!

I would like to express my disappointment regarding my visit to your store in EA Chennai today. Upon entering, a staff member stopped me and directed me to use staff entrance explaining that there would be more customer count. However, I noticed another customer was allowed to enter without any such direction. At that moment, I was in my uniform as I work in the same mall for an international brand, and I felt quite uncomfortable being treated differently despite being a paying customer. This experience left me feeling upset and unwelcome in your store. I made a quick purchase and decided to leave. I urge you to remind your staff to treat all customers equally, regardless of their appearance or attire. Thank you for taking the time to read my message, and I hope to see improvements in this area.

Too many staff and none of them come forward to select the product for customers. Big store good display

Decent variety of clothes but the staff is a bit rude and untrained.

Very poor response from the billing staff. Stock which is on discount didn’t appear in the till, staff didn’t care to fix rather asked me to drop billing. I have to leave the store with out billing the dress. With this attitude m and s will have difficult time in India for sure.

There is tag on products mentioning discount and you spend your time and energy's choosing them only to know at the billing counter that they are not on discount but previously were. As goodwill of branded I requested Mr Shakti section manager to provide the discount because tag was there on multiple products but they did not own up to their mistake not provide discount. If someone is looking at this message and you truly care you will do right by the customer.

Have been shopping here since they first opened over 12 years ago. My latest experience has been terrible. Was there on 31 July 2024, the store is a mess especially around the fitting room but the reason for this review is the poor staff attitude and behaviour. I had chosen one item to buy and was waiting in line at the billing counter (women's section), there was one staff completing the billing for another customer, another staff "Durga" was just hovering around and pretending not to have seen me waiting, aimlessly looking around. Made no effort to come and do the billing and kept me waiting for quite some time. Just as the person in front was finishing, another customer came straight to counter (cutting me off), and as soon as Durga saw her, she decided to start billing. It was then the other staff who saw I was getting annoyed at this behaviour that she called out to me to do the billing. I can only assume that Durga did not want to bother billing the one item I was holding and preferred to bill a customer who had multiple items. This may be inconsequential in the scheme of things but this is not the service I expect in a store like Marks and Spencer.

Worst experience. Not a good customer service. They are not worried even if customers keeps waiting for a product. Even after complain there was not any sense of action taken. It was my first time and last time here. If u are looking for good customer service i would not recommend. There is no doubt on quality it's great but with out proper service even a great quality will not work out

Hi, I have bought 44size pants last year, but from past two months I have been visiting the store, there is no stock of this size. Even the formal shirts, there is no choice atall. Being such reputed Brand very surprising at that to in this store.

A must visit store - especially when looking for formal clothes. The only reason why I didn't rate it 5 stars - They don't have the tall sizes in their trousers and jeans anymore. This was a distinguishing feature in their range. Makes it difficult for taller people to find bottomwear that is actually full-length.

One thing about this place. If it’s not in the browser, rest assured it’s not in the back room. Replenishment is so swift and the freedom you have to browse; unlike other stores where associates breathe down your neck. Hope they maintain the standards.
