Marmalade Dabouq

Nice place with a pleasant atmosphere, especially the outdoor seating area. The dessert display looks great and the presentation is very appealing. The service was quick and everything was well organized. My only suggestion is to make the staff a bit more welcoming with more smiles and greetings when customers arrive. It would also be nice to have specialty coffee options such as V60 or Pour Over. Overall, I had a good experience and would visit again. I gave 4 stars because I didn't feel I experienced everything the place has to offer yet.

Enforcing a ridiculous 'families only' rule after I already ordered at Dabouq is just pathetic. Goodbye from a loyal Boulevard customer. I ended up spending my money—plus a huge tip—at a real high-end cafe instead. But hey, I’m taking my whole network with me. I have plenty of friends, and they have friends, and none of them will set foot in your place again. Enjoy watching your sales plummet. You should be grateful I even gave you a minute of my time for this review

المكان رايق جميل ع الشارع التنوع كبير في الخيارات بالنسبة لحجم المكان يوجد حلويات بدون سكر الأسعار متوسطة إلى مرتفعة بس يستاهل

They have a few vegan desserts, at the time of my visit they had oatmeal cookies, date bites, and vegan cheesecake cups (in berries flavor and mango coconut). They're more on the 'healthy' rather than 'hearty' end. The place is quite small and can get crowded and loud in the evening. More of a hangout place for youngsters.

Marmalade Dabouq is a fantastic spot! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for catching up with friends. Their wide selection of cakes is the real highlight, I highly recommend trying one of their volcano cakes or the lemon cheesecake; they are delicious! The staff was friendly and the service was prompt. A wonderful experience all around, and I can't wait to go back

تجربتي الأولى بهاد المكان كانت طلبت Affogato كتير زاكية /فرع دابوق بس عندي ملاحظات كتير (أنا بحب اجرب اماكن واعرف ازا الي تجربة تانية فيها وإن شاء الله الفيدباك رح يحكي تجربتي بمصداقية بهاد المكان) * المكان: كتير مزعج من ناحية تنسيق وترتيب وحتى توزيع الطاولات والاغاني يلي بيختاروها صاخبة كان عندي شغل وبدي اشتغل لكن الجو ما بساعد ابدا فروحت بعد حوالي ربع ساعة (هاد indoor ) و outdoor ما في مظلات للشمس مع انه الشمس حادة فترة ما بين الظهر والعصر *الطلب: يلي طلبته كانت قيمته 3.75 على المنيو وعند الحساب طلب الكاشير 5 دنانير مع انه ما عملت اي اضافة لأي نكهة او تغير بنوع القهوة أو كم شوت، على الرغم انه بالمنيو مكتوب انه الاسعار شاملة الضريبة! *الكاشير والشباب محترمين كتير بس لازم يحكو عربي هههههه كلنا بنحكي انجليزي بشكل ممتاز بس بنحترم لغتنا الأم 😉 *الحلويات -ما جربتها- عندهم بس مبينه فريش وجديدة ومنظرها كتير مرتب وفخم *اااه والقهوة نكهتها بتجنن *بتمنى ياخدو بالملاحظات وبتمنالهم التوفيق

If you want a classy place for coffee and dessert, a place to bring your laptop in and work peacefully. Marmalade should be one of these places. Everyone who works there is friendly and very helpful. They serve a variety of coffee and desserts for sweet tooth, and the environment is really catchy and amazing at night!

Went there with my wife and daughter for a quick coffee... We sat down inside so benefitted from both the cool weather inside and the cool breeze coming in from outside... Lovely atmosphere... The coffee was excellent. Americano, Cortado and cappuccino and some date balls... Go there and enjoy it. Worth going 100%

OMAR is such a great employee i really appreciate his service , am always late to the embassy cuz of his amazing latte! He deserves a praise! Much appreciated!

Unprofessional and Embarrassing Experience We had a very uncomfortable experience at this place. After arriving, we were told in front of others that they only accept families today. This was said in a very inappropriate way and caused us unnecessary embarrassment. There was no prior notice, no sign, and no respectful or private explanation. Instead, the situation was handled poorly and unprofessionally. Customer service is not only about rules, but also about how those rules are communicated. Unfortunately, the staff failed in handling this situation respectfully. I hope management works on improving communication and customer treatment in the future.

i go in with girls we set down we order for around 20 jds the girls had to leave and we set down enjoying our drinks and desserts. after 30 min the staff proceeds to tell us this place only allows families keep in mind we ordered. the way the spoke to us is very unprofessional.

They refused to offer service to us because we’re males. Considering that we are regulars who often come to this place and love the menu, this action was very unpleasant to us.

Great sweets and drinks quality, and very professional staff . My only note is that it was a hot day, however they had the shop doors wide open and no air conditioning was on . And the flies buzzing around were very annoying.

Terrible experience. We sat down ready to order, and the staff came to tell us that the place is only for families and couples. We are grown men in our 30s, not teenagers, and we were spoken to in a disrespectful way as if we didn’t belong there. Very unprofessional and unwelcoming. A coffee house should treat customers with respect, not judge who is allowed to sit and enjoy a drink. Definitely not returning.

Unacceptable and disrespectful behavior. We were allowed to sit at Marmalade Dabouq on Thursday and just as we were about to order, we were told to leave because the place is “couples only.” This rule was never mentioned at the entrance. Asking adults to leave after seating them is embarrassing, discriminatory, and extremely unprofessional. If you have such a policy, it should be clearly stated instead of wasting people’s time. Definitely not a welcoming place.

You have to love this place.

I walked into this place expecting dessert, not a policy straight out of a comedy sketch. I brought a friend visiting from abroad, excited to show him something local. Instead, we got informed from the cashier, here or take away? that we’re not allowed to sit because it’s “families and couples only.” Fantastic, nothing says “welcome to Jordan” like telling two paying adults they don’t qualify to sit down. I’ve been around the world and never seen a shop invent categories of who is “worthy” of sitting in a chair. Only here do you get treated like you’re trying to infiltrate a top-secret facility when all you want is dessert. If the goal was to create an unforgettable experience, congratulations mission accomplished. Just not in the way you’d hope. I’ll take my appetite (and my guests) somewhere that actually wants customers.

I was quite disappointed with the reception at this café. After we walked in and took our seats, we were suddenly told that Fridays are “families only,” and we were asked to leave. We were three adults, all over 30, and definitely not children or teenagers. The way the situation was handled felt unprofessional and unwelcoming. This experience left a very negative impression, and I hope they reconsider how they treat their customers.
