Dogs Our Best Friends (Maruthy Dog Shelter)

This is a place that has been home for so many dogs and it wouldn't be wrong to say that all those beautiful souls have found a safe home in this place. Hats off to the owner of the place who has put in lots of efforts to run this place despite so many odds against her. You are doing a great job ma'am. We visited this place to celebrate my wife's b'day along with the beautiful babies who loved to see someone visit them. My wife really enjoyed their company and we had a great time. Will definitely visit again in future.

We had a wonderful experience visiting this shelter. The dogs here are friendly, healthy, and clearly well cared for. It is evident that a lot of love, effort, and dedication goes into ensuring their well-being. The team here are doing an amazing job. These people are compassionate, genuinely committed to providing the best care for every dog.

Lovely dogs and they are really taken care of here with all the resources they have. Aditi was absolutely kind and took the time to speak to me. I visited the shelter and she let me have a tour. The dogs are wonderful and the people working there genuinely care about their well being. You can also sign up to volunteer. I would really recommend adopting from here and please visit to see the good work.

My first time in dog shelter and it was my birthday surprise from my husband. Had a great time with the babies and they are well treated and taken care of.

All the dogs here are super friendly and all they need is some love. The volunteers are very nice and Aditi is doing a great job taking care of these lovely creatures. Great place to volunteer and spend some quality time.

Aditi has my love and heart for managing so many kids at her place. The cause she is working for is truly amazing. The kids are so well kept and are so cute. They all were so excited and happy to see us. Please help as much as you can for this cause any which way financially or voluntarily.

visited here for volunteering and got to know that a lot of stray dogs are left here. felt a bit bad that there are many of them but the good thing is that they atleast now have a proper shelter to be with.

This place serves the purpose of a Shelter. Dogs here get good food, enough space to run around, proper medication and treatments, along with a lot of love. There must be around 100 dogs here of variety of breed plus few cats, that were rescued and sheltered here. The place is slightly inside and you might get confused initially. This dog shelter is doing all they can but still needs alot of help from others to take care of so many dogs on a daily basis. I'm overwhelmed by all the love and attention I got from pawsome family. It is an eye opening experience.

If you're visiting for the first time, you would be a bit overwhelmed at first, seeing near 130-140 doggos at the same place. 15 mins after, be prepared to be loved unconditionally by all of them. I think we made some good friends there, especially Leo. What amazed me is that even though we were feeding them all together, there was no fight among them. But to be honest, Maruthy Dog Shelter needs a lot of support from everyone, both money and workwise. Volunteering here is definitely helpful, but even more than that, if anyone could join here full time (paid) as a staff, the lives of these beautiful doggos would be so much better. Looking forward to going again, soon.

Your search for real happiness will end here. 150+ dogs. 15+ kittens. All of them will attack you with pure love. All they need is a bit of your time and love. The caretaker Suvankar is doing a splendid job. Kudos to everyone involved in the upbringing of this shelter.

Love for Aditi di and Richard, Ronie, tuffy has increased after 2-3 visits. They are doing really good job. Once you become a part of this family, you gonna back to this place again and again.

Any day it's a best place in Bangalore to visit fur babies and spend some quality time. The shelter needs lots of volunteers like you and me. Get in touch with Aditi or Robin who run the shelter, they would be able to help you on their needs

We just came back from this place (8th July, 2018). Didn't have the pleasure of meeting Aditi but met Robin, Ajay And Amay. Spend some quality time with my wife and 5 year old here. Would love to go again and contribute more. Thanks to Shubhankar for his guidance on dealing with the lovely dogs (first time introduction :)). We didn't go inside the main area, which has over 100 dogs but if you are first timer, take your time and adjust to the outside first. Big thanks to Robin for spending time with us and sharing his experience.

Dogs are our friend what a tag line, but if public tried to connect number is not connecting only. Not only this but I’ve tried almost all the rescue team everyone will say they don’t have space. And our government team will only do operation how worst for animals.

I visited the place for volunteering. This is awesome place. Dogs are friendly. These people need more funding. They take care of old and abandoned dogs. There many little puppies as well. Please visit and enjoy the love.
