Great place for shopping, you literally get everything here from chocolates to bags to gold to what not. It's a shopping heaven for those who love to shop. The prices are below par the average Dubai standards which is what makes it very attractive. However, you should have good bargaining skills, don't hesitate to bargain and you'll see prices go down n down.

A lively and colorful part of Bur Dubai that always reminds you of traditional Indian markets. Meena Bazaar is a great place for shopping, especially for textiles, jewelry, perfumes, and traditional clothing. The streets are full of small shops, restaurants, and sweet stores which makes the whole area very vibrant. It’s a nice place to walk around, explore different stores, and enjoy some good Indian food. Perfect if you want a taste of old Dubai with a strong cultural vibe.

I like this kind a place, but you really need to take care with the weather/temperature. In a sunny/hot day it’s not easy and comfortable to walk in this area.

Meena Bazaar in Bur Dubai is a vibrant Indian market offering a unique shopping experience. Colorful textiles, intricate jewelry, and aromatic street food fill the narrow alleys. Visit stalls selling beautiful fabrics, embroidered dresses, and gold jewelry. The market's lively atmosphere is especially captivating in the evenings, with lit-up stalls and Indian music. Try local street food like samosas and Karak Tea. Nearest metro stations are Al Ghubaiba or Sharaf DG. Be prepared to haggle and explore surrounding shops and cafes. A must-visit destination for a taste of India's rich culture in Dubai. Open daily, best visited during the day to avoid crowds.

A good amount of shops selling gold and diamonds jewelry, Indian, Pakistani clothing, perfumes and electronics products majorly targeting for events like weddings, festivals and parties. Perfect place to find good tailors for customized suits and dresses. Parking is a little hard to find in rush hours.

🌀A Slice of Mathura in the Heart of Mina Bazaar🍜🥗🍝 Tucked into the lively lanes of Mina Bazaar, Bur Dubai, Saini Snacks & Cafeteria stands out with its bright yellow façade and an unmistakable promise—Mathura-style flavours. Step inside, and it becomes clear: this is not just a snack shop; it is a living archive of North Indian street food culture. Mornings here begin gently with a cup of hot tea paired with Khasta Kachori or Bedai—crispy on the outside, warmly spiced within. Add a piece of syrupy Jalebi, and breakfast turns into a quiet celebration of sweet and savoury harmony, reminiscent of small-town mornings in Uttar Pradesh. As evening approaches, the counter fills with familiar favourites—Samosa, Bread Paneer Pakora, Aloo Tikki, and Dal Pakora—each freshly fried, each carrying the unmistakable aroma of street-side kitchens. The real stars, however, are the Ragda-based dishes. Kachori Ragda and Samosa Ragda arrive layered with yellow peas gravy, vibrant green coriander chutney, tangy red chutney, and a dusting of spices. Every spoonful delivers contrast—soft and crisp, spicy and tangy—ending in deep satisfaction. For those who prefer balance and comfort, Dahi Bada and Papdi Chaat offer a softer experience: creamy yogurt, crunchy papdi, and perfectly measured chutneys coming together in effortless harmony. A bold sign inside reads “NO ONION, NO GARLIC.” More than a dietary note, it reflects a philosophy—pure vegetarian cooking rooted in tradition and faith, staying true to classic North Indian methods. In essence, Saini Snacks & Cafeteria is more than a place to eat. It is a sensory journey—one that transports you from the bustling streets of Bur Dubai straight to the timeless lanes of Mathura, one plate at a time.

A MUST Visit for cheap / reasonable price shopping for souvenirs, perfumes, and many more things. Bon Ton is one of the shops you should visit. You can easily spend a few days here if you want since this is a huge market with hundreds of shops. Gold shops are also located here. There are so many fast food restaurants in the area, as well. This is in the old Dubai area, so don't expect anything fancy like the new Dubai area, but you will enjoy it. The bathrooms were hard to find and were not clean, nor did they have tissue paper.
