Mercure Goa Devaaya Resort

Mercure is a beautiful hotel in Dewaar island. Spacious rooms with greenery every where makes us feel we are breathing fresh air. This hotel looks like a small village with vintage villas very good place for destination weddings and any functions with family. I am here for a wedding. If you want no hustle and bustle and want to enjoy your stay in tranquil serene environment you come and stay here.

simply amazing property. If you want peace this is the place. Away from the hustle bustle of main city. There is no road connectivity from the main city and you can only reach via the ferry. Ferry is free for people and 10rs for four wheelers. The rooms are well maintained and clean. The hotel also has activities like gaming zone, fishing, nature walk and crocodile watching boating tour (paid -750 per person). There are several banquets for organising a function. The food tastes good but the innovation for food is not there. While the spread is good but it is almost the same every day. Each day only idli, same watermelon juice, thankfully live counter exists and you can order dosa and omlette

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The staff were very friendly, polite, and always ready to help. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The food was delicious, and the overall service was excellent. I would like to give a special thanks to Samisa from the Recreation Department for being extremely helpful and friendly throughout my stay. She also assisted me with fishing, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I also want to thank Kedar from the Housekeeping Department for keeping the room spotless and for the beautiful room decoration. His effort truly added a special touch to my stay. A big thank you to the F&B staff as well for their excellent service and warm hospitality. They made every meal enjoyable and memorable. The outside garden was very beautiful and full of greenery, which made the hotel environment peaceful and refreshing. I really enjoyed spending time there. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel to others. I look forward to coming back again.

Seeing people from so many different states embrace their own cultures while working together as a family was truly heartening. That kind of teamwork is exactly what makes an organisation successful. For me, she is your Brand Ambassador. As a family, this was a truly high-quality stay for us. We were especially moved when the F&B team packed snacks for our journey back home. When they realised we were leaving for Mumbai at 4:30 AM by road, they prepared two bags of refreshments to keep us going. Devaiyya Resort, Goa truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The staff was incredibly polite, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The food here is a highlight – absolutely delicious, unique, and full of authentic Goan flavor. Every meal was a new experience. The resort atmosphere is peaceful and beautifully maintained, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Whether it’s the serene surroundings or the cozy vibes, everything about Devaiyya makes you want to stay longer.

The overall stay was pleasant, and the staff were very helpful. The location is excellent, right by the river with plenty of activities around. However, I had an unpleasant experience during checkout, where a delay caused me to miss my train, forcing me to spend a significant amount on same-day flights. Additionally, I have been following up on the refund for one night’s stay, which was initially paid by credit card and later settled using points. I was informed the refund would be processed within a few days, but it has now been over three weeks with no update. There has been absolutely no response or accountability. Unfortunately, due to this experience, I will not be returning.

My family and I spent six wonderful days at this beautiful resort tucked away on Divar Island — truly a well-kept Goan secret. The island is peaceful and scenic, accessible only by ferry, which adds to its charm. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, and though the pool was under repair during our stay, the resort’s serenity and views more than made up for it. Bring a bicycle if you can — riding around the island (or even to Panjim) is a highlight! The resort has e-bikes too, though there are just two, so grab them early. What makes Mercure Devaya truly special is the people. The staff go above and beyond with warmth and care that makes you feel at home: From Dining: Ashish Singh, Priyanka (thank you for your homemade khadaa!), Sankhadip (for lovely conversations), and Chefs Gajendra, Aarush, and Godhan — every meal was a delight. From the Front Office: Christy, Sheena, George, and Swapnil — always smiling and helpful. From Activities: Anuj and Sanisha — thanks for the cycling tips and local insights, carrom and table tennis games. From Service: Rini and Hlutei — cheerful and attentive. From Sales: Vinod and Srivats — you have the easiest job selling such a beautiful place! A few others - Lactor and Mr. Joe - also made our stay memorable. From the time we checked- in the reception staff made us feel like our home, always smiling and taking care of small details etc. Also hk staff was so warm and helpful. Rooms were neat, comfortable and well-maintained. The breakfast spread was quite good and fresh. This hotel has a very calm atmosphere. Overall a well managed property with great hospitality. Such a lovely property with a beautiful pool. Felt at home throughout my stay.

Wonderfulplace to chill out and be away from the daily chaotic life. Quaint, comfy and into the nature . Perfect for weekend with family and friends. Must visit resort. I give them 5 stars.

Giving you Extra Star just for efforts of manager who tried to satisfy us & for the restauran staff's effort. irst of all the reception staff's behaviou was not professional at all. bcz as soon as checked in I requested for better roon and with upgrade if available as Accor Gold Member they denied it by saying tha due to full occupancy by the way they are lying as there was no other guests that day only us. Next thing I have asked for welcome drinl vouchers as Accor Gold Member that request also denied by them after showing hem written benefits of Gold Member thew provide us welcome drink vouchers which was very awkward After seen the room they first provide didn't like bcz there was a only electric pool view from the balconv, Small old TV & also the room was not that which I have booked After some time some manager came and provide us new room as per my booking During whole stay staff was working fo next day's wedding arrangements which vas very disturbing like noisy & smelly they Nere cleaning floor just out side our roon door with some liquid like acid which was smelling very bad, WiFi was not working n the room some how which was fixed by reception staff at night. Although I like the property but prope nospitality was missing At the end there wifi was not working during check out time due to that there svstem not working I couldn't burn my Accor points and have to pay in currency. And thought it was bcz of me I couldn't receive OTP but in next stays in Accor hotels in goa did it smoothly. I ust appreciate the room change effort by the manager & special thanks to restaurant staff who surprised my child next morning in breakfast with pastries as there was no buffet breakfast as no othe guests was there.

Location, ambience, room was excellent. Staff was courteous and helpful and the food too was great. Chef Aarush served some excellent dishes. Overall a great experience.

Restaurant Staff Is Strange , If You Are A Spiritual Person Paranormal Activity Can Happen From Staff Side Around Spiritual Persons ... Safe Place For Non Spiritual Persons Mostly ... Chef Could Not Prepare Proper Dal The Jeera Was Not Well Blended And Biscuits Were Old .... But Again Maybe Because I Have An Awakened Kundalini Energy This Paranormal Activity Happened From The Staff Side .

Nice quiet place. Used to be a wellness resort but now just a regular resort although well appointed. Far away from all the beaches and happening places though

We stayed at Mercure Devayaa, Divar Island for 2 nights with my wife and our 15-month-old son, and it was a wonderful experience. The property is serene and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms are cozy, comfortable, and well-maintained. What made our stay truly memorable was the staff. Everyone was very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. A special mention to Rini, who not only took care of our food requests but also spent time playing with our son, which meant a lot to us as parents. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Mercure Devayaa to anyone visiting Divar Island. We look forward to returning!

Hospitality at its best. We had a great experience during our stay. Ashish, Priyanka in F&B team are so kind to continuously check with us about our needs during breakfast, dinner. They both made sure we had a fantastic time with our family. They are such lovely people, they treated and served us like we are their own family. This property has great views, river front area is spectacular. We spent a lot of leisure time there. Rooms are so well maintained, you will immediately fall in love with the backyard river views. Special mention to Avina from reservation team for her quick responses, guidance and friendly nature in understanding our requirements. Overall, Had a wonderful stay

The approach to this resort is via a public ferry from the mainland separated by Mandovi River as it is on an island. The resort is very beautiful and developed on quite a big area. The landscaping on the property is quite impressive too. They have Villas and apartments too. The rooms are big and nice with all facilities that you expect from a 4 star resort. The housekeeping staff was efficient but Front Office staff lagged behind. The restaurant serves delicious food and the choices in the buffet is quite good too. My only disappointment is that this property was very empty, devoid of guests in the month of March and is not meant for someone like me who would like to see fellow guests around when you leave your room or in a common area. For people who want to totally cut off from everything, this resort might cut in. After 2 days of stay, I shifted to another hotel on the mainland.
