If there's one thing to do in Sri Lanka, it's to experience Mid Climes. Samira and his father, known as 'Jungle Man,' radiate dignity, pride, warmth, and knowledge. They took us to the best spots, creating cherished memories. Their professionalism, smiles, and genuine concern for our well-being were truly appreciated (especially when navigating the cave!!!!!!). While I didn't have time for the cooking class, they prepared an excellent meal for us at the waterfall, so I recommend taking the class if you can! Thank you both for the wonderful experience!

Wow wow Amazing Jungle man !! When you want an exclusive cooking lesson, hiking in the jungle and eating roti under a waterfall… jungle man IS your MAN !!! We loved the care attention and kindness of jungle man, our best Sri Lanka’s experience !!!! I highly recommend you to have a stop, and experience the real cooking… he knows everything about plants, flowers and fruits !!!

Yāluvā!!!! This day was one of the best experience me and my friend had in Sri Lanka!!! One of the days we remember most! We hiked to Ellas Rock, and on the way back we saw Rawana waterfalls, we went to one lake.. Thanks to our guide Shaantha, the Jungle man! He's so kind, warm, a great soul, always doing the best for us, and showing his nature and country, even thinkings with google translate from English to Sinhala.. !!! We had a wonderfull day with Mid Climes Tours in Ella, Sri Lanka. Very lovely dad and son. They took us to a beautyfull waterfall and cooked for us. A Unique experience!

We made beautiful memories together with the mid clime family. The guide uncle and sameera aiya is truly amazing. They took us to hidden waterfalls and exiting hike and provide us a very good care. I will definitely visit again. Thank you... Good luck !

Dank Sameera hatten wir unseren tollsten Tag in Sri Lanka erlebt! Wir machten eine Tour am Wasserfall entlang, wo wir am Ziel baden konnten. Danach gab es an diesem wunderschönen Ort sehr leckeres Mittagessen, welches seine Frau und er zubereiteten. Der zweite Punkt der Tour fing mit einer Fahrt im TukTuk zur Bergspitze an, wo wir noch ein Stück bis zu einem Felsen gewandert sind. Von dort aus konnten wir von oben auf einen Wasserfall und über die unglaubliche Landschaft hinabblicken. Am Abend kochen wir zusammen Reis und Curry, wobei uns Sameera die Zubereitung erklärte. Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit! Die Tour ist unbedingt zu empfehlen.

I have stayed twice at Mid Climes with Sameera’s family ! First time with friends we enjoyed a cooking class and a day at the waterfall. Second time I came back alone, because I wanted to feel this family vibe again. Sameera made sure that I was good all the time. They cooked delicious meals all the time, we also had a little party for his birthday where we danced a lot! And his dad brought me to a nice place for sunrise. They have a tuktuk also so it’s very convenient to go around places. Concerning the hotel it is a jungle area with beautiful plants everywhere. 20 min away by bus from Ella, and near by very nice waterfalls where you can go swim. The room offers great confort with a nice private attached bathroom. Fully recommend this place if you come near Ella

Amazing sweet place. Nice people, The food is so much good. He Isa real jungle man. Take you for amazing secret waterfall and trail.

Sameera is an absolute great guy who will welcome you with an open heart, show you the best (and secret) spots around near and far. The guesthouse is peacefull in nature, clean and cozy. I highly recommend his place.

Merci "jungle cooker" pour cette superbe journée en ta compagnie dans ce très bel endroit près de Ella, en haut de la cascade. Tu nous a fait découvrir les épices qui y poussent et tu nous as préparé un excellent repas cuit au feu de bois sur la rivière. Le tout servi dans des "jungles assiettes "!!
