My time at Middlesex University Dubai was truly one of the most valuable and memorable phases of my academic journey. I completed my BSc (Hons) in IT & BIS, and I can confidently say that my experience there was outstanding in every way. The university provides a forward-thinking and dynamic environment, offering high-quality UK education in the UAE while bringing together a diverse and inclusive community of students from over 120 nationalities across its campuses in Dubai Knowledge Park and Dubai International Academic City. What made my journey especially meaningful was the incredible support and encouragement I received from the professors. They were not only highly knowledgeable but also extremely kind, motivating, and approachable. Their guidance had a very positive impact on me both academically and personally. They constantly encouraged me to believe in myself, which helped me become more confident, secure, and focused on my future goals. One thing that truly stands out about Middlesex University Dubai is its culture. A genuine effort has been made to create an environment where students feel welcomed, supported, and inspired to learn. Many educational institutions focus only on academics, but MDX understands the importance of a positive and engaging culture. The supportive atmosphere among students and faculty helped remove many cognitive and personal challenges, making learning much more enjoyable and effective. I am genuinely grateful for the people I met, the friendships I built, and the experiences I gained during my time there. Looking back, I have nothing but appreciation and positive memories of Middlesex University Dubai. It played a major role in shaping my personality, confidence, and professional outlook, and I will always value the impact it had on my life.

Middlesex University Dubai I studied at Middlesex University Dubai for one year and had a genuinely wonderful experience. The professors were fabulous—super kind, supportive, and genuinely motivating. Their encouragement and guidance had a very positive impact on me, both academically and personally. Thanks to them, I became more confident and secure in myself, and my outlook on my studies and future changed in a very positive way. I am truly grateful for the people I met there and the influence they had on my life. I look back on my time at Middlesex University Dubai with great appreciation and very positive memories.

I am writing this review based on my personal experience with the admissions process at Middlesex University Dubai. I found aspects of the admissions process to be unsatisfactory, particularly in relation to flexibility and communication regarding financial circumstances. I was offered a 15% scholarship based on my application, which I appreciate; however, this was not sufficient in relation to my financial situation. When I attempted to submit additional academic certificates and evidence of extracurricular activities for reconsideration, I was informed that these could not be reviewed and that no further adjustment to the scholarship offer was possible. From my experience, there appeared to be very limited opportunity for reassessment or consideration of additional supporting documents once the initial decision had been made. This made the process feel rigid and left little room for applicants to present a fuller academic and extracurricular profile. In my communication with the admissions team, I also found the responses regarding financial concerns to be firm and non-flexible, without additional explanation or guidance on alternative options that might be available. This contributed to a sense of limited support during an important financial decision-making process. While I do not wish to single out individuals, I will note that my interaction with one admissions representative was particularly discouraging. From the outset, there appeared to be a strong focus on securing the deposit payment. When I raised concerns about my financial situation and asked whether any flexibility or reconsideration was possible, I was repeatedly told that nothing could be done. The communication did not offer further explanation, alternatives, or any acknowledgment of my circumstances. Overall, the interaction felt abrupt and lacked the reassurance or support expected when dealing with significant financial decisions. I am also concerned about the overall transparency of the scholarship process, as there appears to be limited clarity regarding how financial need is considered alongside academic performance. From my experience, scholarship decisions seemed to be primarily merit-based, with little visible consideration of individual financial circumstances. In addition, I would strongly encourage prospective students to carefully evaluate their financial options and compare offers across different institutions before committing. Based on my experience, it may also be worthwhile to consider applying to the main UK campus, as financial flexibility and support structures may differ across campuses. I also want to note that I have received significantly higher scholarship offers from other international universities, which placed my experience at this institution in a broader comparative context and contributed to my overall assessment. am sharing this feedback to provide an honest account of my experience and to highlight areas where communication, transparency, and flexibility in financial discussions could be improved for future applicants. Overall, while I appreciate the scholarship offer extended to me, my experience of the admissions process felt lacking in flexibility, clarity, and support in relation to financial considerations. ( The one star is for the admission department not the curriculum or the teaching faculty )

Absolutely the worst university you could possibly join. 99% of the students are from a same background (guess which one), no diversity yet they claim to have a wide range of nationalities , 20 years and still 0 accredited programs, basically even if you graduate you won’t be able to work anywhere since it isn’t even recognized by uae gov 😂 No one picks up the phone when there’s a problem, however they will never miss emailing you to remind you about the payments. They will absolutely refuse to change your timetable no matter the reason. We have 1h30 to attend on a single day when all the lectures of the week could fit into one day. Take a gap year if needed to apply somewhere else but DO NOT COME HERE!

I had the privilege of attending the "𝐔𝐀𝐄 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐩" at Middlesex University Dubai. The university is renowned for its high-quality education and supportive learning environment. The faculty members are highly skilled and dedicated, ensuring an excellent academic experience for students

The Ministry of Education in the UAE does not recognize this University. Please note this. It is ONLY recognized by KHDA. They recognize the main UK campus but not the Dubai branch. I found this out when I tried applying for the Golden Visa myself, only to find out that University nominated me twice and didn't bother to inform me. I grew up in Dubai and honestly, this campus is not managed properly at all. I studied Business Batchelors in Middlesex for 3 years. My teachers were lovely, but the material is very old and outdated and doesn't apply to today's modern world at all. You are just paying for a piece of paper that says DIPLOMA essentially. There is also no university life here, it feels more like corporate work. I think it's suitable for older people who have families and just need to get a piece of paper that shows they are qualified (and even then, UAE does not recognize it properly). For fresh school graduates, it's better to go find another University. Furthermore, the process for the Golden Visa given to students here is an absolute mess. The University should be ashamed of themselves. I got nominated twice and the University did not even bother to inform me that they put my name in. There were no phone calls, no emails, nothing. No communication or effort whatsoever from their part. The University's excuse was that the nominations happened during summer while everyone was off, and they "think" the interns must have called once. I went to the government to try applying for the golden visa myself through my work, only to be told that I actually had been nominated by the University TWICE. By the way, the Ministry of Education in the UAE does not recognize this University. Only KHDA does. So, you actually CANNOT apply for the Golden Visa yourself, the University has to do it for you. So, I went back to the University and asked them to please do the application. After over two years of back and forth, waiting for some list to be sent out, nothing has been done. Also, there are scandals that come out of this University, especially the most recent one that the whole Portuguese and Indian Portuguese community know about (the male lecture relationship scandal with his young female student). I hope they at least did something to address it.

A concerted effort has been put into establishing something that many educational institutions don't focus on...Culture. A turbulent mind will not learn, the supportive of fellow learners and engaged culture at MDX removes cognitive challenges and is built around catalysing the students' learning.

Middlesex University Dubai is like Hogwarts for the brainy. Professors wield knowledge like wizards, turning mind-bending theories into friendly banter. The campus is a playground of intellect, occasionally tangled in Wi-Fi mysteries that keep us on our toes. It’s a blend of Sherlock Holmes' investigative spirit during exams and the occasional 'Eureka!' moments in class. Join us for an education that’s a rollercoaster ride filled with laughter, 'aha!' discoveries, and enough stories to fill a comedy series!

i can make a proper list of everything that is wrong with this university. from the curriculum to the staff to literally everything. you pick up the phone to reach anyone if you have an issue or even a question and all numbers will send you to voicemails because apparently all the operators are busy, however on campus you can hear a pin drop in the faculties whether it be campus central, IT, visa, finance, literally anywhere and its dead silent so what is their definition of busy? everyone is CLUELESS. you can probably finger count the staff that are there to actually help and not there just for the sake of sitting down and getting a check for doing the bare minimum. as mentioned in previous reviews, there is NO diversity so if you are a person that likes seeing/being around different backgrounds this university is NOT for you. also its YET to receive an accreditation. for the money you will be paying them trust me you are gonna make 0 worth out of it and the only thing you’re gonna get is regret. overall do NOT apply here especially if you have other options because i can guarantee you they are WAY better, even your “worst” option is better and i can bet real money on that. but if you are still thinking of joining for whatever reason PLEASE check EVERYTHING before you apply, make sure you know everything about the university and i mean EVERYTHING. when you ask questions be very detailed/specific because they loveeee sugarcoating everything but they cant lie so ASK.

If you care about your future I recommend reading this review, from one student to another. Middlesex Dubai is an absolute disgrace of a university. Whatever you are paying for the degree, I promise you, save that money and do something else. That will yield way better results. A car wash business will have better results. they are not accredited by the ministry of education, or literally any ministry, and they do not make you aware of this during enrollment. In fact they will actively hide it from you. If you really want to study at middlesex, go to the uk campus as the Dubai one isn’t accredited ANYWHERE. I can’t name one good thing during my experience in middlesex. The curriculum is horrendous, you’ll graduate even more clueless than before studying. Lecturers truly don’t care and most of them are under-qualified to, you know, even give a lecture. They are opinionated, close minded, and snobby. Special thanks to the management (finance, timetable, student support) departments for the absolutely useless services. If you have a problem during your studies, I’d recommend talking to a wall as that will be more helpful. Their whole budget goes into their marketing to recruit more students, but once you’re in and they got their money, they do not care. It is NOT an international community and most students are from one background. If that works for you perfect, but I do not like being deceived. I was told there are many students from my background, and there were in fact, non. I mean literally non. 0. If you care about quality education, smart financial decisions, an overall better future, and maintaining your sanity, DO NOT GO HERE for the love of god. Save your money and time.

If you want any information as a student, you will not get it without calling 5 times, and asking multiple people for guidance. The institution is incredibly disorganized and graduations are pushed back FAR so if you move away you will likely not be able to attend your graduation ceremony. Be advised their student interface used for deadlines and submissions is not working half the time.

I am extremely grateful for the guidance provided by Abhinav Sanjil from MDX during my journey as an international student from India. Right from the application stage through to the visa process, his support was invaluable. He gave me clear step-by-step guidance at every stage, explained the requirements in detail, and ensured that I understood the process fully before moving forward. What impressed me most was his ability to simplify complicated procedures and present them in a way that was easy to follow. Whenever I had doubts, he patiently clarified them and provided the right direction, which helped me stay on track without unnecessary stress. His guidance not only saved me a lot of time but also gave me the confidence that everything was being done correctly. I sincerely appreciate the professional and structured manner in which he guided me, making the entire experience smooth and manageable. I would highly recommend Abhinav Sanjil to any international student who is looking for reliable and well-informed guidance with their application and visa process.

Curriculum aside, I’m giving this 1 star because they don’t provide free parking aces to postgraduate students even tho my classes are 4 days a week (20 dhs per day) IF I’m lucky enough to find a spot. Ridiculous..
