The largest domestic-cum-international airport of Minnesota, near the twin cities of Minneapolis & Saint Paul, handling annually around 37M+ passengers, cargo and Air Force/ National Guards operations. Originally, constructed in 1920; however, major expansion and remodelling was done in 1960s. Terminal 1 is the premier terminal.Spacious, neat and clean, well decorated internally. Sufficient restaurants ( includes Escape Lounges), food court and gift shops.The staff in general is courteous and helpful. The seating capacity at the gate is constrained when some flight there is delayed. Display of immigration Instructions for international passengers is suggested.

This airport is awesome! It's super clean and feels more like a cool hangout spot, like an old-school mall, instead of just an airport. The seating is really comfy, everything feels new and modern, there's great art and chill-out areas, and I'd totally use this airport all the time.

I was traveling from London to Minneapolis, Immigration was very smooth. I need to transfer to another city, still you need to go through the security where they won’t accept TSA pre check, but line was very short. I visited during the Christmas time and airport was well decorated. Bathroom are very clean. I love this airport.

This is a really wonderful airport! It is quite clean, and it feels more like a place where people gather like a mall of the olden days instead of just an airport. Very comfortable seating, feels very upgraded and updated, there’s great artwork and lounge areas, and I would happily use this airport all the time. There was a super fluffy dog, and information and signage is very clear and bright.

Plenty of shops and restaurants. Getting from concourses to concourses is very convenient with the tram that arrives every 3 minutes. Clean and well maintained restrooms

First time air traveller. Have to say that MSP has figured out how to efficiently make flying easy. Smooth security checkpoints, and the remodel of the terminals definitely help. Bathrooms roomy and spacious. Plenty of shops. Land on the ground, pull up to the gate and deplane and by the time im at the carousel my bags arent taking me 45 mins to get like the other airport i was at. I understand now why MSP gets high marks for experience.

ミネソタ州に行った際に利用しました。 アメリカの国際空港にしては比較的コンパクト？なつくりです。 飛行機から降り立った後、イミグレまでの距離はありましたが許容範囲内です。 またイミグレ通過後、レンタカーを借りに行ったのですがレンタカーセンターが空港直結で便利でした！ ロサンゼルスやデンバーはバスで移動したのでバス移動がないのは良いですね。 綺麗な空港で導線もわかりやすいです。

Very nice and clean airport with vibrant diverse community. Huge airport with a lot of attractions and great facilities and amazing food . The view of the 1000 lakes once you are in air is beyond words and the customer service is very nice here

Bigger doesn’t always mean better. This is one of the nicest, cleanest, organized airports. Corridors are super wide so there’s no congested crowds. There’s no many passenger carts and everyone is so friendly. Also, the bathrooms are immaculate and have beautiful unique murals. 10/10 would layover here again

I’m so glad we have this airport here. It’s easy to navigate thanks to clear signage, and the bathrooms are always very clean. Terminal 1 is larger than Terminal 2, so if you have a connecting flight with a short layover, you might need to move quickly to make your gate. If you head down to the tunnel, you’ll find a light rail station that can take you all the way to the Mall of America, which is perfect if you have extra time between flights. There are plenty of restaurants and shops, which is a big plus. Right now, Terminal 1 is undergoing some construction, and I can’t wait to see the improvements once it’s finished.

I love MSP airport. Lots of nice shops and places to eat. Convenient light rail that is connected to the airport. Typically very short wait times other than major holidays.

I think this is my new favorite airport! The mall area is very cool. I loved the dog at the information desk! It's clean, bright, and has a lot of great art! The hallway to B was very cool!

The airport is always easy and accommodating. The parking is plentiful and close by to the entrance. The security staff TSA is friendly and helpful and will get you through the gate fast and efficiently. I always feel comfortable flying out of Minneapolis. Cheers!

Maybe Terminal 1 is great, but if you get stuck with Terminal 2 get ready to be trapped in space with very few options. Few choices to eat and drink. No post security connection to T1. No lounges, or minute suites or really anything except a few overpriced restaurants, an underwhelming market and some random shops that don't really have much beyond expensive snacks and magazines you don't want to buy. Plugs are hard to find - there are none in the seating areas - and if you do find one they easily fall out so you might be surprised to find your phone isn't charged when you board the plane. The only reason this place gets more than one star is because the car rental companies have a second drop off at Terminal 2 so you don't have to take the shuttle from the main terminal area after returning your car. Just, no, I will avoid this place in the future.

If you fly early don’t expect to make your flight if you don’t have precheck or come to the airport 3 hours early. They only have one lane of general boarding for the entire terminal 2 airport. The second checkpoint is precheck and priority only, but it’s only labeled up at the checkpoint when you take the elevator or stairs up. The line was out to parking for early flights (at 5 am for a 7 am flight). They do not manage flights well if there are many departing at similar times. This is not the first time it has happened to us for an early flight time.

Just visited the airport while I was waiting for connecting flight. A fun few stores. I'd like that they had the golf carts shutting people around if they needed it.

Layover- this airport is easy to find gates, plenty of restaurants and shops. You may need to walk farther between gates. It could use some more moving walk ways. We made it to our gate with exact 2 minutes to spare. Mail box, extra plug, good monitors. There’s a bit for construction going on. Restrooms were clean and easy to locate.

Clean, nice people. Transit station is clean and super convenient. Security on an August Thursday morning was very busy and slightly slow. Would definitely not avoid this airport in the future.

Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) is one of the best airports I’ve traveled through. It’s clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate, even during busy times. There’s a great selection of shops, restaurants, and local gift spots that make layovers more enjoyable. Security and check-in lines move efficiently, and the staff are professional and helpful. Plenty of charging stations, seating areas, and clean restrooms make it a comfortable place to wait for your flight. Overall, MSP offers a smooth and pleasant travel experience. Highly recommended.
