We recently visited Mio Gusto and sampled three of their offerings: the Matilda Cake, their signature cream bun, and the caramel bombolone. Without hesitation, the Matilda Cake stood out as the clear winner. The chocolate sponge was exceptionally moist soft to the point that it genuinely melted in the mouth. The accompanying ganache elevated it further, with a rich chocolate depth balanced by a subtle buttery note. The signature cream bun was good and satisfying, though not extraordinary. The caramel bombolone, however, was average and did not quite match the expectations set by the other items. Beyond the food, the experience was positive. The service was attentive and warm, with special care shown towards our daughter, which deserves appreciation. The ambience was pleasant, the coffee was decent, and ample car parking space made the visit convenient.
