My daughter, entered this school, has found a new direction and dream in her life. I feel so grateful to see her once passive personality transform into a more proactive one, and to see her constantly taking on challenges. She enjoys spending time with good friends and is passionate about her studies. My daughter often tells me " i'm so happy "she is attending this school. Our family truly loves this school.

U of M trying to put in a polluting data center while the residents and now even the students advise against it. This college is becoming part of destroying the planet and polluting it instead of preserving it. Just pathetic. Meanwhile they raise tuition prices, room and board, and just about everything else as they brag about their new 40 million dollar football scoreboard. No longer a college but a business that nobody wants.

It's been the site of Hash Bash and other protest for many years maybe it's time for a change of scenery 🤔 doesn't seem to be that this university is interested in supporting freedom of assembly or freedom of speech unless it lines their pockets, money is the ruler these days 😔

Absolutely bustling with energy from the young folks who go to school here every restaurant is busy atmosphere is alive with energy I love going down to University of Michigan

Gostaria de receber meu certificado em alta administração que fiz pela FGV e que sempre teve parceria com a Universidade de Michigan.. Assim que me enviarem adiciono as duas estrelas. Fiz curso da FGV alta administração em TI De 1980 a 1984 no CTO na Av dos Estados 5533, São Paulo SP Brasil. E passei em todos os cursos com nota máxima.

Overhyped school. Sometimes teaching is good, other times it's not. Overwhelming size of the school also makes it really difficult to get to know others and you will likely never get to know any of your professors. Although there are a lot of nice people here too, there are also a good number of people who are rude who will try to act as though they are better than you. Fans can be annoying at times as well. This school isn't exactly a beacon of progress either as they have recently rolled back all their DEI initiatives. Lack of windows in so many of the classrooms will also certainly leave you feeling "blue" (maybe that's what's really meant by "go blue").

The best of college football. Had the priveledge of being almond vendor there with an old friend a few yrs back.

The University of Michigan boasts one of the most stunning campuses in the world, offering not only breathtaking surroundings but also a vibrant, supportive community. I couldn't have asked for a better place to call home—both academically and personally. The student vibes and sense of camaraderie made the experience truly unforgettable.

Amazing architecture and one of the best school in the country!!

Great university campus, happy students, friendly and ethnically-diverse atmosphere every time I've visited. Weighted against about ten comparable universities I've spent time around, this is in the top 3. Ann Arbor is a really nice place. :)

I'm an alum. The education I received here 10 years ago as an engineer was less than stellar, but this institution has gone even more downhill since then. It's not a university anymore. It's a business. Capitulating to the Trump administration and getting rid of all its DEI initiatives is the final straw. They'll never get a penny from me again. They've completely forgotten that they're supposed to be champions of learning, and a beacon of free speech.

The campus us beautiful. Friendly staff and students. Lots of fun attending a football game. Parking wasn't a nightmare like we assumed, police had streets marked clearly and was directing traffic. The venu was perfect.

The roads surrounding central campus, and some buildings are in pieces. The bus routes connecting central and north campus change constantly with no notice. I'm glad the University is making hotels and designing things for 2050, but in the meantime there are other things that need to be fixed, or should have been fixed a long time ago.

The campus is good.But no so romantic or of highest value..The University is a center of excellence.

U of M is right in the middle of downtown Ann Arbor and so it is extremely pleasant to walk around on campus. The academic buildings are extremely nice as well, inside and out. It is a very large school so the student generally remains fairly anonymous (but if they make an effort, they can stand out) so they remain distant from the professors. The University also has tons of extracurricular activities of all kinds -- which is awesome, but does make it difficult to find time to study. Overall, it's a great place to be and offers so many opportunities, it can be an amazing incubator for professional success.

Did a clinical trial for them, well tried to. The problem was after one week, had some issues getting paid. Then the second week, did not get paid at all. Because there payment procedure stinks. And they cannot correct it. So my advice is avoid this university. As much money that is poured into that college. They cannot figure out how to pay people. Really pathetic. Update: I have heard from a lot of people, that they got ripped off from these people. Please avoid them. 3/28/2024.

Go Blue, excellence in everything they do

BEAUTIFUL campus. I love every second here! So many amazing activities and extra curricular activities to get involved in over 2000! The professors are fantastic here too you can EASILY tell everyone has well over 10+ years of upper level experience. The students here… INSANELY nice as an introvert I can walk up to anyone and they’re super friendly and helpful. Biggest alumni group. HUGE school spirit even on the streets people all rep UofM. It’s a whole new loving world here. Night life is everywhere with good to high end restaurants. The roads are all proper especially for Michigan weather. Alumni donates heavily to this school. The city works with UofM to help them expand.. it’s like the whole area is family it’s incredible! I legitimately can’t say a single negative and I am a commuter except I just wish I could drive less haha. So many parking structures lol it’s only a few minute walk. The M bus is accurate too. Put it like this… if you get accepted to The University of Michigan.. after doing research and or visiting campus you will be going to The University of Michigan. 10/10 this is coming from someone who’s attended multiple universities including the Dearborn campus. NOTHING touches this University.
