We visited Mounir Restaurant in Broumana on a Sunday for lunch. The weather was beautiful, so we chose to sit outdoors. The place was packed, and we opted for à la carte instead of the set menu. We ordered taboulé, fatoush, hommos, mtabal batenjen, kebbe, r2a2at, sambousik, kafta naye, sawda, and a few other items. For drinks, we had two beers and one fresh orange juice. The food was okay overall, but several items missed the mark. The kebbe shell was a bit chewy, and the r2a2at were thin with very little cheese. After the meal, we ordered fruits, but some pieces were tasteless. Service was mediocre. They forgot our drinks entirely and only brought them after we reminded them long after the food had arrived. The next day, a couple of us felt unwell, so we’re not sure whether the kafta naye played a role. We paid $35 per person inculcating tip, which felt pricey considering the quantity and quality, especially since we didn’t order mashewe, argile, dessert, or arak. Overall, it’s an okay restaurant, but I’ve had better food for a lower price.

We went after sunset after a long day in Faraya, so unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to enjoy the scenery everyone talks about. That said, the hospitality and service more than made up for it. Our waiter, Mr. Rislan, was excellent — always attentive and very helpful with recommendations, both in terms of dishes and portion sizes. The starters were outstanding, honestly some of the best we’ve tried. The main dishes were great as well, but a special note: if you order the Farouj, it’s definitely meant for two people, not one — something we were told beforehand but didn’t quite believe 😄. Overall, we really enjoyed the food, and the place is definitely recommended. In terms of the prices quite affordable and nit very expensive as many other places.

We all love mounir. It’s a bit pricey lately expected to pau around 75$ without barbecue plats but it’s very tasty so for a full experience 100$/per person . Also book a head of time and ask to be seated right on the view in summer time

Please like and follow. The entrance to the restaurant is a garden of flowers and colors. The outside seats are laid into two configurations; one facing the flower garden with water streams ( a true garden of delights) ,the second facing the charming views of the sea, and the mountains valley extened all the way to the bay of jounieh. The service is another very positive experience with our waiter Ahmed and his teammates paying attention to the smallest details. We ordered raw liver, hot potatoes, baba ghanouj, BBQ meat and chicken, brain pane, and tabule. Aside from that, everything tasted very well and delicious the generosity in terms of portions was apparent. For deserts, we ordered water melon and Ashta. Sweet and delicious I highly recommend this restaurant.

Mounir Mounir Mounir.... Everyone makes you feel unwelcome, from the person you speak to on the phone, to the waiter, to the coffee server. The food is average, nothing special for the reputation or the prices, I've tasted much nicer like Mhanna Aamsheet. No fruit or desert offering, unlike every other Lebanese restaurant, you don't even get offered a coffee is you didn't tip right. Not recommended, go to a restaurant that value you.

Visited the restaurant twice , last august and November , id like to share my experience Food overall is really fresh and great , one of the greatest in Lebanon , atmosphere could be better with some Lebanese music , The restaurant is really overpriced compared to other same concept restaurants , in my both times the waiters were really annoying and kept interrupting us to seek for tips , in both times when we paid they didn’t return back the change , valet parking is also annoying , they will always tell u pay whatever you want , and that’s really embarrassing , either the waiters are not getting paid what they deserve or they’re just being greedy . Lastly you will never get a good table unless you know the manager , it’s always (fully booked) although you call several hours in advance , when you get there and ask to be moved to a different table the answer will be it’s reserved , both visits we were there for more than two hours and the table kept empty , you will never offered a dessert or fruits after food like any other restaurant although prices are double , even the coffee guy will insist to be tipped 🤣 , and the shisha is really bad The waiters really knows how to embarrass the customer especially if you go as a couple in order to seek for tips .

This restaurant is situated on the mountain side with breath taking views. It is busy in the middle of the week which tells a lot about its reputation and quality of food. Plenty of dining options and delicious food. Many waiters are present and quick to address our needs. I highly recommend coming here if in Beirut or Mount Lebanon region.

It was lunchtime on a Spring day in early May and we arrived at Mounir restaurant. My friend parked her car within centimeters of a towering jasmine hedge so that I opened the car door straight onto fragrant white blooms. This is the loveliest welcome one could hope to have at any restaurant, yet alone one at a mountain side in Lebanon, a place of antiquity that holds one of the oldest country names in the world in continuous reference and reverence and yet at the same time gives startlingly fresh and ethereal dining experiences. As I followed the artistic floral path of jasmine, geranium and other horticultural delights to the restaurant’s main door, I peaked between the pathway's foliage and there I saw what can only be described as a breathtaking tent with tables and chairs elegantly awaiting our arrival… smart waiters in the grand space perfecting flourishes here and there. To the one side of the restaurant, diners overlook a terraced slope where produce is grown and to the other end seating is alongside a rock garden with murmuring water feature...a thoughtful outdoor experience comfortably indoors. One should go to Lebanon in May just to be seated at Mounir, to almost fall into a jasmine hedge on entering and then to simply have a bowl of equally fragrant mint leaves placed in front of you on a very crisp tablecloth on a very long table by a very grand waiter. Wow. A symphony of delights continues in Lebanese style with one fresh plate after the next, after the next until the table is filled with dishes like artichoke and hindbeh , purslane with toasted pine nuts on humus , potatoes with coriander, meat and cheese rolls, stuffed aubergines ……each thing to be enjoyed for itself as something perfect in itself , or layered in a progression of flavours. The service is impeccable, the finesse is exquisite. Even the bread , markouk bread ,was held up to the mountain light by my Lebanese friend as if it were a hand spun textile. Who even needs dessert in Lebanon when one has filigreed bread or a bowl of sweet onions that can be eaten neat ;) We left Mounir to my friend’s mountainside home, another corner of another cliff away, another hospitality awaiting us. Any lunchtime experience in Lebanon is where food, friendships and generosity effortlessly persist.

Mounir Restaurant offers an outstanding dining experience with a breathtaking view that adds to the overall ambiance. Our group of 5 ordered a variety of dishes, including fattoush, hummus, fries, spicy potatoes, mutabal, makanek, hindbeh, the daily special (moghrabieh), a meat shawarma plate, and a whole grilled chicken on charcoal. We also had 3 orange juices and finished with a delightful dessert of honey and achta. The total bill came to $126, which is reasonable for the quality and variety we enjoyed. The food was excellent, with each dish bursting with flavor. The service was impressively fast, and the waiters were incredibly friendly. Walid, our waiter, stood out for his warm and talkative nature, making us feel right at home. The stunning view from the restaurant adds an extra layer of enjoyment, making it a perfect spot for a memorable meal. If you're looking for delicious food, great service, and a beautiful setting, Mounir Restaurant is a must-visit.

The view is nice and the waiters are extremely welcoming, but the prices are clearly overpriced for what you get. The service feels a bit forced, like it’s mainly aimed at getting a good tip. The location is very far, and overall it was not worth the long drive, time, or money. Honestly, it felt like a waste of both.
