Over the past few days, I watched three movies in Screen No. 1, and I must say the overall experience was disappointing. The picture quality is far below standard, lacking the sharpness and clarity expected from a modern theatre. The sound quality is equally unsatisfactory-low, uneven, and nowhere close to a truly immersive experience.For a place meant to offer entertainment and comfort, the theatre urgently needs to upgrade both its visuals and audio systems. I genuinely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves the viewing conditions, as audiences deserve much better.

Watched Avatar 3 with 3D glasses on!! Had a wonderful experience. Must visit atleast once.

A Letdown Experience at Your Theater – Needs Immediate Attention I’m writing to share my deep disappointment with the experience I had at your movie theaterit truly felt like a letdown. To begin with, the theater equipment was not up to scratch, which ruined the movie experience. But what really crossed the line was the behavior of some people using foul language openly during the show. It was not only disturbing but also made the environment unfit for families. You seriously need to tighten the reins on security. Hiring bodyguards or security staff would help keep things under control. If that means raising ticket prices a bit, that’s fine people are willing to pay a little extra for peace of mind. Families come to enjoy movies with their sisters, parents, and even partners, and such behavior leaves a bad taste. Frankly, it was an embarrassing scene for anyone with company. I’ve never seen such issues in other theaters across Odisha, especially in places like Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, or Rourkela those theaters really have their act together. I hope you take this to heart and make the necessary improvements. Odisha deserves theaters where people can watch movies without feeling on edge.

Screen 3 is smaller and not so clear audio. But the food counter offers very yummy french fries with reasonable price and quantity. I loved it .

So bad, no comfortable seats no available snacks and the 3D glasses did not work at all would never ever recommend for anyone pls never visit . I gave one star as I had no option to give none. Also I started coughing immediately after entering the hall nonstop and too much. I am very disappointed

Watched Kantara chapter 1. Enjoyed the movie but Poor management from movie Ex team. food counter system is bad. You need to struggle to get your items placed during the interval time. The lights was kept on for more than 5 minutes post the interval break and people started screaming to have the lights turned off.. If the management concentrates a bit more to make the customer experience good inside the premises, more people will like to bring the family and friends.

Good Theatre. Medium screen. Good Atmosphere with better food service. Food price is medium & best quality. A/c for all seats. Ticket price is starting from Rs 140 - Rs 250, Seat quality is very good. Loved this theatre. You can checkout here anytime....

Balasore's one and only multiplex with all latest movies including regional, Bollywood and Hollywood cinematic experience. Nice place

I recently visited MovieEX Theatre with my family for Pushpa 2 Movie. It is located in the heart of downtown, to catch a screening of OT Road, Balasore. The theater is easily accessible by public transport, and there's ample parking nearby. Ambiance and Facilities Upon entering, I was impressed by the modern and clean lobby area. The ticket counter was efficient, and the staff were friendly, making the check-in process smooth. The concession stand offers a variety of snacks, from classic popcorn to gourmet options, though the prices are a bit on the higher side. The seating area was spacious and comfortable, with recliners that provided excellent legroom, which made the three-hour film much more enjoyable. Sound and Visual Quality The picture quality in MovieEX is exceptional. The 4K resolution was crystal clear, and the colours were vibrant. The theater uses Dolby Atmos sound, and the audio experience was immersive. Action scenes in Balasore really came to life, and I was especially impressed by the clarity of dialogue. The sound quality was well-balanced, with no issues in hearing any of the subtler moments. Overall Experience I was thoroughly impressed with my experience at MovieEX. The technology, comfortable seating, and clean environment made for a premium viewing experience. The only downside was the slightly high snack prices, but the overall experience more than made up for it. Given the quality of the sound, visuals, and service, I highly recommend MovieEX for those looking to enjoy a cinematic experience in comfort and style.

Screen is bright enough for 2d not 3d (it's less brightness and strains eye). Sound is good but I could see sound waves in screen during loud deep rumble type bass and a bit of distortion during mi7. This month (July 2023)all movies are hindi not English. mi7 and Oppenheimer like master pieces should be in English if not Imax at least people deserve that much. And may be more shows. But over all it's good. Parking is huge.

Screen 1 is a masterpiece — huge, crystal-clear 4K visuals and the best movie experience in town. Sadly, Screens 2 & 3 only run 1080p at 24fps, which feels underwhelming. On the bright side: all three halls are A/C, seats are neat & clean, outside food is allowed, and parking is available. If you go, pick Screen 1 for the wow factor.

Clean and refreshing environment with good quality projection and sound, price are also quite economic, everything is fine. worth it.🥳🥳

I had a very bad experience at this theater. First of all, they asked for a ₹100 deposit for the 3D glasses, which is not clearly informed in advance. The glasses were in poor condition and not worth the deposit. On top of that, the staff behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional. The overall environment was not clean, and the service was slow and disorganized. Definitely not recommended—there are much better theaters around that offer a more respectful and transparent experience.

Best facilities are available here. Very much cleaned ,because of Lockdown T&C i think. Overall the environment is nice. Staffs are very much helpful which I was not expecting in Balasore. Must visit atleast once

Good Customer Cooperation 👍 But sometimes it was a disappointment that they didn't have a show for a few good films...like last year's Thunderbolts, Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc etc. But I am rooting for Project Hail Mary, coming out on 20 March 2026 👍

This is the best movie hall in bls but some reason i dont like 1st - 12 sep the demon slayer movie coming i request pls come to our bls plss i request beacuse all people are waiting for this movie andd i was dam sure people are watching 2 nd- plss try to store all movie then you will get more people and watching Thank you plss check my review @movieex

Release hollywood movie in English language, hindi language is disgusting, I went Bhubaneswar to watch only in English language. So please consider it.
