Rating: -00000 if possible 👎👎👎👎👎 Subject: Extremely Poor Export Service and Professionalism – MSC Dubai, Al mina Road. I am writing this to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service provided by the MSC export BL counter. My recent experience has been unacceptable for a global shipping line. • Lack of Communication: I have attempted to reach the office multiple times via phone with no answer. Similarly, my emails have been completely ignored. • Unprofessional Staff: The behavior of the staff at the counter is dismissive and rude. There is a complete lack of basic customer service etiquette. • Discriminatory Practices: It is deeply concerning that there appears to be a lack of standardized rules and regulations, specifically regarding the treatment of South Indian customers. Everyone should be treated with the same level of respect and professional protocol regardless of their background. The current level of service is highly unprofessional and is causing significant delays to my operations. I hope management addresses these systemic issues immediately.

Very poor service. They are focusing only on revenue and not on customer satisfaction or happiness. Last one month we are tracking a shipment until now they didn’t give any proper information but they’re issuing the demurrage invoice only

One of the worst shipping lines and customer service ever , specially in har time and situations like current . They deserve 0 star for their service . Past 25 days i have struggled communicating with them to clear my cargo . Their office was closed , no one pick up the calls no response via emails . Even now that their office is open same situation. I tried to contact many people there such as : Guarev sevak , Mr. Delson and none are responding. After 25 days Out of 10 containers they delivered 9 containers of me and last one has gone somewhere else , no for clearing the last container its a week again im struggling to communicate with someone in there . Someone who called Arham just sent an email from their side and in middle of communications he disappeared. They dont even bother to pick up calls or call customers . The only thing they care is money and causing more detentions on poor customers . How its possible on a shipment containing 10 containers , you just deliver 9 and ask customer to collect it from somewhere else after paying detentions for it ? Its your mistake why should customer pay for your mistake ? They are like whales , just come on surface to take a breath when ever they want and then dive in and disappear. As of today they charged me 225000 AED for 10 containers which did not deliver it correctly. AVOID dealing with MSC as much as you can Update : 6 days passed from this post and still not got it cleared and same lack of communication and non responsibility

This company are complete looters and fraudsters. They present themselves as a big company, but the service from their Dubai office is extremely poor and unprofessional. After our shipment arrived, they stopped responding to calls and emails. They did not provide the proper invoice or clear breakdown of charges. Even after making the payment, they still did not release the D/O. We visited their office continuously for 4 days, day and night, and every time they kept saying there was a “short payment” without even providing a proper revised invoice. After paying the additional amounts they demanded, we still did not receive the D/O. Because of their delays and poor handling, port storage and demurrage charges kept increasing day by day, forcing us to pay more and more. It became a continuous loop for 6–7 days. Very bad experience. Please do not use their service.

Poor customer service and communication. Calls and emails are rarely answered, making shipment release very difficult. Every shipment under MSC results in delays, and we often have to visit the office and wait for hours or even days to complete the process. This has happened multiple times. Very disappointing experience.

If there could be something less than 1 star, i would have given that to MSc's entire team. Literally a -100/10 support when it comesto work. No one answers call, no email reply on time, no work is done on time. Ony if this review could reach their actual HR

The delivery order services team at MSC gets the job done without the usual back-and-forth you expect in this industry, clear communication, quick turnaround, and a genuinely helpful attitude. Polished and competent, yet approachable enough to make the process feel straightforward rather than transactional. Easily one of the smoother experiences in a complex space.

Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆ (Zero star if possible) I had an extremely poor experience with MSC, particularly at the Export BL Counter. The customer service was highly unprofessional and disappointing. • Phone calls were never answered despite repeated attempts • Emails received no response at all • Staff showed rude and unhelpful behavior • There was no proper communication or accountability Additionally, the staff always give excuses regarding office timing and availability. However, I observed clear inconsistency in how rules are applied. Certain customers receive polite treatment and flexibility with no strict time schedule, while customers of other nationalities are subjected to rigid rules and poor behavior. This lack of uniformity and professionalism is unacceptable. Such service standards cause delays, frustration, and unnecessary stress, especially in export documentation where timely support is critical. I expected far better service from a company like MSC. I strongly recommend that MSC management review the conduct of the Export BL counter staff and ensure equal, professional, and respectful service for all customers.

Despite multiple attempts to contact your team, calls are not being answered, and there seems to be insufficient staff available to attend to customer queries. Very disappointing service. This is the worst experience we’ve ever had with a shipping company. They don’t answer calls or follow up on reminders. The only thing they do quickly is collect payment in advance, while customers are left feeling ignored and unimportant. If anyone needs proof of MSC’s poor customer service, we can share many emails showing how badly they handle things. MSC is a clear example of how not to treat customers.

Several ongoing challenges that are significantly impacting our operations. These issues span across MSC documentation, communication, customer service, and operational timelines, Key Areas of Concern: 🔹 Customer Service & Communication - Customers frequently experience delays and inefficiencies when trying to reach the appropriate department. Calls are often transferred multiple times without resolution, and in many cases, they are disconnected before any assistance is provided. - When calls do connect, staff responses are rushed and lack empathy, leaving customers feeling helpless and unsupported. - We urge MSC to provide proper training and accountability to ensure professional, courteous, and solution-oriented communication across all departments. 🔹 Documentation & Timely Response - SI drafts are consistently delayed after submission, causing operational bottlenecks and unnecessary complications. - Exceptions raised with the documentation team often result in repeated queries from different staff members, even after the required information has been provided. This redundancy wastes valuable time and creates frustration. - We request a streamlined and centralized approach to handling documentation queries to avoid duplication and delays. 🔹 Invoice Turnaround Time (TAT) - Invoices post-vessel sailing are taking up to 48 hours, which is too long and creates financial strain. - We strongly recommend reducing the TAT to ensure invoices are issued promptly and within a reasonable timeframe. 🔹 OBL Surrender & Counter Timings - The current counter closing time of 3:00 PM is restrictive, especially for urgent surrender requests. - We kindly request that the counter hours be extended to at least 4:00 PM to accommodate customer needs more effectively. 🔹 Credit Note Adjustments - In cases of excess payment, the process of adjusting credit notes is unclear and often results in additional charges. - We ask for greater transparency and efficiency in handling such financial adjustments to avoid unnecessary costs. Conclusion: We believe that addressing these concerns with urgency and professionalism will not only improve customer satisfaction but also enhance MSC’s reputation and operational efficiency. We are not comparing MSC with other lines; our sole intention is to find meaningful solutions to the challenges we face. Please.......
