We spent one night at this desert camp and it truly felt like a dream. Sleeping in a beautiful tent under the stars was such a unique and magical experience. The team was absolutely incredible, so kind, attentive, and genuinely warm. From the moment we arrived, everything was handled with care and generosity. They even helped us get to the desert, and every interaction felt thoughtful and welcoming. The food was amazing, both dinner and breakfast were very generous and delicious, prepared and served with so much care. We also loved the tea moment where we were hosted, it felt very special and authentic. We were honestly hesitating between this camp and another one that was four times more expensive, and we are so happy we chose this one. It felt more authentic, more intimate, yet still very comfortable and even luxurious in its own way. The pictures don’t do it justice, it’s even more beautiful in real life. The facilities were great, the tent was very comfortable, with a proper shower, AC, and everything you need for a perfect stay in the desert. Overall, an unforgettable experience that exceeded all our expectations. Please choose this place, you will not regret it.

Super Camp ! Nous y sommes allés en famille avec 2 ados(12et13 ans). Une personne du camp est venue nous récupérer à l’entrée du désert et nous l’avons suivi avec notre 4x4. Arrivés sur place, l’accueil était au top. Explication claires de la vie dans le camp, des activités possibles, des heures des petits déjeuners et dîner. Bonne organisation de nos activités choisi. La sortie avec coucher de soleil est incontournable, nous avons pu être installés en haut du d’une avec tapis et sièges avec thé, café et gâteau local. Grignotage disponible à toutes heures. Les tentes sont vraiment confortables même en plein cœur du désert et parfaitement aménagées, bouteilles d’eau, chips, biscuits offerts. Les petits déjeuner et dîner sont très corrects et bons. Salle de bains et tente vraiment propres, même pas un grain de sable qui traîne malgré le fait d’être en plein milieu du désert. Tentes équipées de moustiquaires. Tout le personnel était au petits soins. Spectacles traditionnel du soir au calme et relaxant avec le gentil monsieur qui nous a servi le thé et un dessert traditionnel. Tout était parfait jusqu’au départ. Merci à toute l’équipe pour ces 2 supers nuits chez vous.

An unforgettable experience! Hidden in the Wahiba Sands, this camp is the perfect place to connect with nomadic culture. No massive tourist crowds or of these artificial “oasis” vibes. We were lucky to meet the founder who shared the camp’s story with us by the bonfire, over local tea and sweets, and you can feel how thoughtfully everything has been planned. The setting is unreal: endless dunes, deep silence, and stargazing that doesn’t feel real. And then the desert surprised us with rain… in the desert. Simply amazing. Thanks! PS need a 4x4 with a bit of confidence and offline maps or arrange a transfer.

Che meravigliosa esperienza! Adoro alloggiare nel deserto, ma la bellezza di questo camp ha superato decisamente le nostre aspettative! Ad un prezzo più che onesto una tenda bellissima, colazione e cena incluse ottime e varie, personale disponibile, nottata intorno al fuoco con racconti e dolcetti tipici, la possibilità di prenotare la jeep dal loro ufficio fino al camp se si dispone di una berlina non adatta ad affrontare la sabbia. Tramonto indimenticabile, esperienza super! Bravissimi

You absolutely need to choose this place! This is the real authenticity: a family business created to offer a desert experience that is both accessible and deeply local, rooted in tradition. It was designed by true Bedouins who genuinely want to share their customs with complete sincerity. The owner stays among the guests. Throughout the evening, he explains the philosophy of the place, takes sincere care of everyone, and shares how the camp was designed in harmony with the rhythm of the sun. It creates a truly immersive and refreshing change of scenery. We enjoyed a magical night with Bedouin musicians, singers, and dancers, all from the same family, served alongside traditional tea. They come pick you up on the main road, and all you need to do is follow their 4x4. For them, this is part of the experience. They want you to enjoy it fully while remaining available if needed. We had no difficulty at all, you simply need to trust your vehicle. It’s a safe and exciting introduction to dune bashing! The tents are comfortable and limited in number, keeping the atmosphere calm, intimate, and serene. In conclusion, you feel welcomed like family, with genuine authenticity. Go with your eyes closed, this will be one of the most beautiful experiences of your life!! Everything is designed to offer a comfortable, joyful, and heartwarming immersion. Nothing is forced: every detail is meant to help you enjoy your time. A truly suspended moment, an experience disconnected from time, under the moon and the stars.

Amazing place. We booked a Bungalow and it was nothing less than what we expected. Clean, private bathroom (cold water only), and a comfy bed. All in all, super cozy. We also booked the desert hike and we couldn't be happier! The hike starts right at sunrise and you get to walk around the dunes on your own with a car following you from a distance and indicating you where to go next (followong flags they previously placed). No risk of getting lost but all the fun of running up and down the dunes -really really recommended!

Avis mitigé. L’hôtel est très beau et les tentes propres et décorées avec soin. Le cadre est magnifique, perdu au milieu du désert. L’expérience a cependant été gâchée par le manque de professionnalisme et d’honnêteté du gérant. À notre arrivée, il nous a été vendu un tour en dromadaire à 25 OMR par personne. Le tour était prévu pour le sunset, avec balade dans les dunes. Cependant, au bout de 20 min le temps est devenu orageux et il s’est mis à pleuvoir très fort avec énormément de vent. Les chameaux ont pris peur et les conditions ne permettaient pas de continuer l’activité, le gérant est revenu nous chercher en voiture. Le tour prévu pour 1h30 a donc duré 20 minutes avec évidemment pas de balade ni de coucher de soleil. Malheureusement le gérant ne nous a proposé aucun remboursement ni geste commercial, ce qui aurait été appréciable et honnête… 60€ les 20 minutes de dromadaire avec en prime une tempête de pluie et de sable cela n’est pas professionnel. C’est dommage car cela a gâché notre expérience alors que l’endroit en lui même est très joli.

Esperienza davvero magnifica in questo campo nel deserto. È possibile scegliere tra tenda o bungalow: personalmente consiglio vivamente la tenda, dotata di comode poltroncine esterne, perfette per godersi il panorama, il silenzio e l’atmosfera unica del deserto. Il cibo, sia a cena che a colazione, è stato ottimo! Il campo offre anche la possibilità di partecipare a numerose attività, rendendo il soggiorno ancora più completo. Per quanto riguarda l’arrivo, è disponibile un servizio transfer lasciando l’auto al punto di incontro, oppure si può raggiungere il campo con la propria 4x4 accompagnati da una guida: io ho scelto questa seconda opzione ed è stata un’esperienza entusiasmante e indimenticabile. Momento davvero speciale la serata intorno al fuoco, insieme ai beduini che servivano tè omanita e dolci tradizionali: un’esperienza autentica che rende il soggiorno ancora più suggestivo.

Wat is dit een tof kamp in de woestijn zeg! Dit is het laatste kamp wat er nu is als je van boven naar beneden gaat. Wat betekent dat er vrij uitzicht is 1 kant op en je geen andere kampen ziet. Het kamp ligt in een vallei met op dit moment 10 bungalows en 4 tenten. Uiteindelijk worden het 10 tenten. Het is een prachtig opgezet kamp in een soort vallei met een trap omhoog zodat je de zonsopgang en zonsondergang goed kan bekijken. Wij verbleven in een bungalow, die erg netjes was en schoon. Het badkamer/toilet gedeelte stonk een beetje, maar dat probeerde ze te canoufleren met mint achtige geur. De stank is niet te voorkomen, aangezien je je in de woestijn bevindt. Het is het tweede seizoen voor de mensen die er werken, dus soms gaat nog niet alles vlekkeloos, maar je ziet dat ze er alles aan doen om het zo goed mogelijk te doen! Veel activiteiten en duidelijke communicatie via whatsapp van tevoren! Zeker de moeite waard.

We had an absolutely incredible time in the Adventurer Camp! The staff and fellow campers were so friendly, we did all kinds of activities which were all so much fun! There are not too many tents and all tents have quite some distance to each other. It is basic but felt luxurious for a night in the middle of nowhere. The sky full of stars was also a highlight! The team puts so much effort, delicious food, a bonfire after food with tea and dessert and seamless activity booking! It was absolutely amazing and I’m already missing the days we got to spend there! Strongly recommend!! Thank you to all the lovely staff for making it an unforgettable experience!! 🙏❤️

Great experience. Fahad and the entire team provided a memorable experience. The tents are great, with you own shower & toilet. Beds were really comfortable and the food was very good. This camp is definitely worth the visit.

The camp was amazingly setup in the middle of the desert. They provided us with a pick and drop from a nearby city (at an additional cost), it was included the sunset viewing. The dinner and breakfast buffet are not a huge spread but they were sufficient and very delicious. The highlight was the night non fire with traditional Omani tea and a dessert made from scratch for the guest known as Omani S’rr. It was amazing experience.

Was für ein toller Ort! Das Camp eignet sich super für alle, die ein paar Tage in der Wüste verbringen wollen, ihre Ruhe suchen und nicht in einem der „grossen“ Massencamps übernachten wollen. Das Personal ist super nett und sorgt sich sehr um die Gäste. Die Kommunikation per WhatsApp im Vorfeld der Anreise ist hilfreich und haben wir sehr geschätzt. Die Zelte haben genügend Abstand voneinander und man sieht weit und breit kein anderes Camp. Das Angebot an Aktivitäten ist tipptopp - für alle ist was dabei! Leider gibt es aber kein warmes Wasser in den Zelten - eine kalte Dusche frühmorgens nach einer kalten Wüstennacht ist nicht gerade angenehm. Auch sind die Badezimmer äusserst klein, unseres hatte nicht mal eine Lüftung und roch extrem unangenehm. Das hätte beim Bau durchaus besser gelöst werden können! Die Anfahrt ist mit einem 4x4 locker selbständig machbar; sie bieten aber auch an, dass man zwischen 15:00 und 16:00 Uhr jemandem vom Camp nachfahren kann, wenn man sich betreffend der Route nicht ganz sicher ist. Das Buffet-Nachtessen war sehr lecker. Hingegen vom Frühstück hätten wir mehr erwartet, z.B. authentischeren/frischen Kaffee und nicht einfach Instantkaffee, frische Säfte und z.B. Karak-Tee, wie wir ihn in praktisch jeder anderen Unterkunft während unserer mehrwöchigen Oman-Reise erhalten haben. Alles in allem würden wir das Adventurer Camp durchaus weiterempfehlen!

Tolles und authentisches Camp inmitten der Dünen. Fahrbegleitservice zum Camp mit Treffpunkt beim Camp Büro. Dunes Bashing zum Sonnenuntergang war ein Erlebnis und unvergesslich. Essen gut und das anschließende Lagerfeuer mit Erklärungen zum Leben in der Wüste sehr interessant. Ebenso das dort zubereitete Dessert und Karag! Insgesamt ein unvergessliches Erlebnis!

Wir hatten einen ausgezeichneten Aufenthalt im Adventurer Camp. Das Personal war wirklich sehr freundlich. Danke an Farhad, dass du unser Programm so toll organisiert hast. Wir waren Kamelreiten und Sandboarden. Im Camp gab es Abendessen und Frühstück, beides vom Buffet. Die Auswahl war groß und es hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Am Abend gab es sogar für 1-2 Stunden live Musik von Beduinen. Ich kann es jedem nur empfehlen, hier zu übernachten. Es gab bei jedem Zelt ein Badezimmer mit Dusche und WC. Die Betten waren sehr bequem.

We had an amazing stay at the Adventure Camp in the Omani desert! The team is super friendly and you can really feel that they love what they do. The atmosphere is wonderful — peaceful, authentic, and beautifully set in the desert landscape. The camp is built with great attention to sustainability, which makes the experience even more special. Everything was perfect — keep up the great work!

This was an unforgettable experience! Everything in the camp was fantastic, from the location, the activities the food (!!), the gracious hosts and guides all the way to the aesthetics of the lighting and the wonderful fragrant room. The bungalow was roomy and cozy and above all clean; which is all the more impressive once you are covered in sand just from walking. Our only “regret” was coming here too close to full moon, which was too bright to see many stars. But what a regret that is: moon too bright 😀😀

The attention to detail, from the beautifully set table to the delicious cuisine, created a truly magical evening that we will cherish forever. Every aspect of our stay was thoughtfully planned and flawlessly executed. The genuine care and effort put into every moment made it one of the most special experiences of our lives.
